Abstract

Abstrck: The aim of this research is to know the roles of the principal as manager in kindergarten in District of Tampan in Pekanbaru. The population and sample of this research are all of the principals of kindergartens which the total of them is 50 persons. The technique of data collection used questionnaires in likert scale. The technique of data analysis used statistical method by using SPSS for Windows Ver.16 program. The data analysis used percentage form, the research result of percentage to the roles of the principals as manager in kindergarten in District of Tampan in Pekanbaru shows that 59.7% in an enough category level. Meanwhile, if viewed from each indicators; the indicator of planshows 66.3% in a good category level, the indicator of organize shows 55% in an enough category level, the indicator of lead shows 59.6% in an enough category level, and the indicator of control shows 56.8% in an enough category level. Abstract

Abstract: The background of this research is children do not enjoy and became inactive during the science lesson, the lack of attention during studying science, children could not finish the assignments given by the teacher, children became easily tired and bored when studying science, children do not respond well when given a question. The problem formulation in this research is, how is the result of studying science for children with age range from 5-6 years old in Bhineka Tunggal Ika kindergarten before using the contextual learning approach? How is the result of studying science for children with age range from 5-6 years old in Bhineka Tunggal Ika kindergarten after using the contextual learning approach? Is there a significant difference between studying science before and after applying the contextual learning approach in Bhineka Tunggal Ika kindergarten? The aim of this research is to answer the 3 problem formulation above. The number of samples in this researchis 23 kindergarten children of Bineka Tunggal Ika kindergarten of Bangkinang. The method used in this research is the experiment method with one group desaign model. The data analysis is done by statistic percentage technique to differentiate for the result of studying science before anf after using the contextual learning approach on children.  Before using the contextual learning, there were no children categoried “good”. There are 3 children categorized “medium” 13,04% and 20 children categorized “low” 86,96% . After using the contextual learning, some became categorized as “good” is 11 children or 47,83%, and the other 12 children were categorized as “medium” or 52,17%. Based on this research, the information gained shows that the average score of learning science results before given the approach is 20,69. After the teacher gave the approach becomes 36,69. From the calculation of textpoiment it is known that tcount >ttabel (25,199 > 2,704) with a mistake rate of 1%. Therefore, the rejected Ho and the accepted Ha which means there is a significant difference before and after given the approach in the form of contextual learning. Based on the research, it is concluded that after given the contextual learning approach, the result of science learning increases. Keywords:result, studying,contextual learning

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to determine the intelligence picture of the kindergarten teacher  Benai District of Kuantan District Singingi. The benefits of this research is to give input to the interpersonal intelligence to know, can be used as input for the development of learning activities and to improve the quality of education. In terms of theoretical provide information about teacher interpersonal intelligence. The population in this study was overall a kindergarten teacher Benai District of Kuantan District Singingi. Sampel used is saturated samples. The data collection was carried out research on the teaching semester 2014/2015, through the instrument of data collection in the form of a questionnaire sheet. The results showed that of the 8 sub-indicators as a whole is in good category with an average of 78.44%. While Kindergarten Teacher Interpersonal intelligence  Benai District of Kuantan Singingi are in two categories of good and very good. The sub-indicator beada in both categories are sub-indicators of the second with an average of 76.16%, the third sub-indicator with an average of 69.39%, the fifth sub-indicators with an average of 75.55%, with the average seventh sub-indicators -rata 78.78%, and sub-indicators of the eighth with an average of 76.96%. While the sub-indicator mempeoleh excellent category is sub-indicators first with an average 83.43%, the fourth sub-indicators with an average 81.41%, and sub-indicators sixth with an average of 82.42%. Abstract

Abstrac: This study aims to determine the relationship of self-concept and pedagogical competence of kindergarten teachersin the district Tampan, Pekanbaru. The population inthis study amounted to127teacher fresh greaduate. The sample usedin this study were 56 teachers.As for thedata collection techniquesin this study usinga Likert scale. Analysis using scale testingand analysis of statistical methods with SPSS for Windows Ver. 16. The hypothesis of this studyis that there isa positive and significan trelation ship between self-concept and pedagogical competence of kindergarten teachersin the district Tampan, Pekanbaru. It can be seen from the analysis of data obtained tcountvalue of 7.552 while ttable(5%) (df=n-2 =56-2=54) ttablevalueby 2,000. Because tcount greater than ttable 7.552>2.000, it means that there isa positive and significan trelation ship between self-concept and pedagogical competence of kindergarten teachersin the district Tampan, Pekanbaru. The resulting of determinant coefficient wasr2= 0.393 atp = 0.000(P <0.05), it can be seen that the self-concept giving effect of39.3% of pedagogical competence of the kindergarten teacher.
