Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang kegiatan cerita dalam mengembangkan bahasa anak usia dini. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kegiatan bercerita mampu mengembangkan bahasa anak usia dini. Kegiatan bercerita yang terdiri dari rangkaian gambar secara berurutan dan membuat sebuah cerita dan di dalamnya ada pesan yang ingin disampaikan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah studi literatur (studi kepustakaan). Teknik pengumpulan data berupa sumber data primer dengan menelaah buku referensi dan jurnal ilmiah yang relevan. Hasil penelitian adalah kegiatan bercerita ini mampu mengembangkan bahasa anak usia dini, hal ini dibuktikan dengan adanya perbaikan bahasa pada anak menjadi lebih baik.

Abstract

Abstrck: The aim of this research is to know the roles of the principal as manager in kindergarten in District of Tampan in Pekanbaru. The population and sample of this research are all of the principals of kindergartens which the total of them is 50 persons. The technique of data collection used questionnaires in likert scale. The technique of data analysis used statistical method by using SPSS for Windows Ver.16 program. The data analysis used percentage form, the research result of percentage to the roles of the principals as manager in kindergarten in District of Tampan in Pekanbaru shows that 59.7% in an enough category level. Meanwhile, if viewed from each indicators; the indicator of planshows 66.3% in a good category level, the indicator of organize shows 55% in an enough category level, the indicator of lead shows 59.6% in an enough category level, and the indicator of control shows 56.8% in an enough category level. Abstract

Creativity is the ability to think of something in a new and unusual way then give a unique solution to the problem around us. The role of creativity is increasingly considered very important in the 21st century marked by very fast changes and increasingly complex challenges. So that creativity must be developed early through learning conducted in an integrated manner. This research method is descriptive qualitative with the data source from a classroom teachers and the principal of TK Kanisius Sorowajan on 8th of September 2018. The data collecting procedures are observation, interview and documentation. The data analysis activity included of data reduction, data display, and verification. The results showed that basically, every child was born creative. However, if given stimulus and treatement, the creativity would develop more and more. Creativity development carried out in Kanisius Sorowajan Kindergarten varies by integrating science, art, language, religion and IT learning in developing children's creativity integrally.

Abstract

Covid 19 pandemic hitting people arround world caused many changes in various aspects of life which one of them is education field. Government, teachers, families, and even students are required to be able to adapt to the situation. Breaking down the corona virus transmission, the government got deal with the rules of working and studying from home. Concerning the previous session of learning classically conducted, it seemed to be agreed that the rests are designed to be accessed online – which combination (offlne and online) was so called by blanded learning. That’s why the researcher put a high interest on whether it can effectively be applied at pandemic especially for Early Childhood Education. Data was collected through the questionnaires which are onlinely filled out by 30 teachers of 5 kindergartens who carried out blended learning. Data were then analyzed by using a trial scale, percentage formula and SPSS, 16 version. The results showed the effectiveness of the application of blended learning for early childhood when the pandemic was in the good category.

Abstract

In general, gymnastics is only imitation of movement from beginning to end but in this study gymnastics is combined with stories that are imagined by children, which are then realized into motion with the aim of stimulating the creativity of early childhood movements. In this research si buyung’s gymnastic modified to be warming up, creative movements, and cooling down. The research was quantitative quasi-experimental method with one group time-series design on 52 children aged 4-5 years in Yogyakarta. Data collection used interviews and observations, then analyzed with Kruskal Wallis. The results showed that implemented si buyung’s gymnastic effectively to increase the movement creativity of children aged 4-5 years is evidenced by the acquisition of asymp.sig p-value. 0,000 <0.05 which means there is a significant difference in the average ranking of children's creativity in each treatment.

Abstract

Cognitive abilities include various things, one of which is the ability to recognize colors. However, the ability to recognize colors is less often ruled out by educators and parents. This can be seen from learning that pays more attention to early reading and arithmetic skills. In fact, the ability to recognize colors is a very important aspect of children's brain development. This research was conducted in order to see the role of picture and picture learning in stimulating children to recognize colors. This research is quantitative research using a quasi-experimental method with one group time-series test. The data obtained were analyzed using a regression test to see the effect of the treatment given. The results showed a significance value of 0.00 which was smaller than 0.05, which means the picture and picture learning model has a significant effect on the ability to recognize colors in early childhood.

Abstract

Quality education can be traced back to the level of early childhood education as assessed by the participation rate in Early Childhood Education (ECE). The ECE participation rate is determined by three indicators: the School Participation Rate (SPR), the Gross Enrollment Rate (GER), and the Pure Participation Rate (PPR). However, there are still gaps in the national ECE participation rate, children who have not earned ECE services, and some villages that do not have ECE institutions. Although the Ministry of Education and Culture has established guidelines for one village one ECE. The purpose of this research is to provide an overview of ECE participation rates in Riau Province and to explain what factors influence them. This study used descriptive analysis. Secondary data were obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics, the Ministry of Education and Culture, and the Ministry of National Development Planning/National Development Planning Agency. The results show that the ECE participation rate, in general, has been fluctuating, especially in the last five years, and that the GER of children attending ECE in Riau province is still lower than the national rate, while the PPR in rural areas is higher than the NER in urban areas. According to PER by gender, girls who attend ECE on time contribute more than boys. Those are influenced by the fact that ECE institutions are not recorded in the education database, and there are social trends that lead parents to prefer homeschooling over ECE institutions, particularly with the impact of the COVID-19.

Abstract

Al-Quran is the holy book of Muslims that must be introduced from an early age. Introducing the holy Qur’an in the Early Childhood institution is over reciting, writing, and memorizing versicle. The approaches used by teachers however do not convenient to students’ characteristics. In addition, the teachers rarely integrate the themes of material to the verses of the holy Qur’an, such as: the environment, the universe, natural phenomena, water, air, and fire. The learning process will be better if the students understand the meaning in it. This can be completed by a scientific approach for their thinking skill. This study aims to identify the effectiveness of the scientific approach to interest of children aged 5-6 years in learning the Qur’an. This research is quantitative research with one group pretest-posttest design. The data were gained through observation, and were analyzed by using the T-test, namely paired sample test. The results proved that t count 5,436 ≥ t table 1,76 with significance value of 0,00 ≤ 0,05.  It thus believes that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, which means the scientific approach is effective to students’ interest in learning the Qur'an.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi dan informasi mengharuskan setiap orang memiliki kemampuan literasi digital yang baik, termasuk dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan dari pelatihan pembuatan video pembelajaran ini adalah untuk memberikan keterampilan dan pengetahuan kepada guru-guru RA di Indragiri Hilir dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran secara digital. Video-video yang dihasilkan akan digunakan sebagai sarana penyampaian materi agar lebih menarik dan memenuhi gaya belajar anak usia dini yang beragam. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan inovasi untuk menarik minat dan motivasi anak-anak dalam belajar sehingga dapat mengikuti materi yang disampaikan oleh guru dengan baik. Pelatihan ini menghasilkan para guru yang dapat membuat video pembelajaran untuk anak usia dini.

Abstract

Pembelajaran yang monoton dan kurang bervariasi dapat menghambat perkembangan pada anak, terutama perkebangan tanggung jawabnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi dan gambaran yang tepat tentang pengaruh metode eksperimen pada kegiatan Funcooking terhadap sikap tanggung jawab anak pada kelompok B di Taman kanak-kanak di Kota Jambi .Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatakn kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen, tenik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi untuk melihat perkembangan karakter tanggung jawab anak. Proses penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan 2 grup pembelajaran, yaitu grup eksperiman dan grup control, penelitian dilakukan dengan tiga tahapan, yaitu kegiatan pretest, treatment, dan post-tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan antara pretest dan post-test yang dilakukan bahwa dengan menggunakan kegiatan Funcooking dapat membantu dalam memberi stimulus pada anak untuk dapat meningkatkan perkembangan karakter tanggung jawabnya. Sehingga kegiatan ini sangat cocok untuk gunakan dalam meningkatkan perkembangan anak, dapat dilakukan di sekolah ataupun di rumah
