Abstract

PT Pos Indonesia is a state-owned enterprise in Indonesia. which operates in the courier service sector. Currently, PT Pos Indonesia is ranked fourth after JNE, J&T Express, and TIKI. This is the impact of many competitors, resulting in a downward trend in the volume of courier shipments per year. In 2023, PT Pos Indonesia will transform into a logistics company. This research aims to Analysis of the Influence of Logistics Capability Factors on Digital Transformation. The survey was conducted on 132 respondents consisting of the Director, Senior Manager, Manager, Assistant Manager, Lecturer and Entrepreneur levels. The method used in this research is quantitative research. Quantitative research is a methodological approach employed to investigate specific populations or samples by gathering numerical data. This data is subsequently analyzed using statistical techniques to explore and clarify the relationships between various variables. Based on the analysis of the respondents, it can be concluded that a positive and significant influence Core Capability, Customer Satisfaction, Logistics Operation, Supply Chain Visibility, Technology and Innovation on Digital Transformation. However a negative and not significant influence of Infrastructure Capability on Digital Transformation. together contribute positively and significantly to the digital transformation variable by 95.70%. This shows that from an external perspective, Pos Indonesia must make effective improvements and improvements in transforming into a state-owned enterprise's logistics.

Abstract

This study explores how the complexity of customer orders and the strength of logistics systems impact service quality in E-Commerce fulfillment centers, using the Task-Technology Fit (TTF) model as a framework. The research focuses on E-Commerce companies in the Jabodetabek area, gathering data from 200 employees through a quantitative method using SEM-PLS. Results show that while complex orders can improve the alignment between tasks and technology, they may reduce logistics system effectiveness. However, strong logistics capabilities enhance both TTF and service quality. The study highlights TTF as a key factor linking logistics performance to service outcomes. These findings offer both theoretical insights into the TTF model and practical guidance for E-Commerce businesses aiming to improve service efficiency by better aligning technology, logistics, and task demands.

Abstract

Operational efficiency in warehouse logistics relies heavily on accurately predicting item transfer time. This study presents a machine learning-based framework using Gradient Boosting Classifier to classify transfer durations in the dynamic Jakarta Centrum warehouse, managed by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) and PosIND. Field observations revealed inefficiencies due to unstructured layouts and fluctuating volumes. To improve prediction accuracy, the model incorporates Z-score normalization, SMOTE for class balancing, and hyperparameter tuning using GridSearchCV and PSO. The optimized model successfully classified 258 High, 285 Low, and 277 Medium transfer-time instances. SHAP analysis identified distance, distribution volume, and throughput as key influencing factors. Results demonstrate the potential of predictive modeling to enhance warehouse operations through better space usage, workforce planning, and SLA compliance. This study supports machine learning as a strategic tool for data-driven logistics optimization, with future work recommended to include contextual variables like workforce capacity and shift schedules for improved precision and real-world applicability.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of export logistics regulations and the performance of logistics personnel on export performance, as well as their implications for the operational performance of the company. The increasingly complex and dynamic nature of export logistics regulations frequently hampers the smooth execution of export activities. Simultaneously, the quality of human resources in the logistics sector serves as a critical internal factor influencing the efficiency of export management. The research was conducted at PT. Sinergi using a quantitative approach, involving the distribution of structured questionnaires to 200 respondents from the logistics and export divisions. Data analysis was carried out using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) to assess the relationships among the studied variables. The empirical findings indicate that export logistics regulations significantly affect export performance, particularly with regard to the timeliness and completeness of export documentation. Moreover, the performance of logistics employees exerts a positive influence on the effectiveness of export processes. Enhanced export performance subsequently contributes positively to the company's operational performance, as reflected in cost efficiency, improved productivity, and increased customer satisfaction. These findings highlight the critical role of aligning external regulatory frameworks with internal organizational capabilities in enhancing export competitiveness. The study provides valuable insights for both corporate management and regulatory authorities in efforts to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of national export logistics systems.

Abstract

PT Sinergi Mitra Lestari Indonesi is a company engaged in the management and distribution of mining products, particularly tin and ferronickel. In its business operations, the company relies on warehouse performance as a central hub for controlling the flow of goods and information. This study seeks to identify and empirically analyze how warehouse capability, inventory management, and human resource competence contribute to the effectiveness of tin and ferronickel warehouse management at PT Sinergi Mitra Lestari Indonesia. Furthermore, the study explores how the effectiveness of warehouse management impacts the optimization of the company’s supply chain. Employing a quantitative approach, data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 229 respondents consisting of the warehouse staff, logistics personnel, and management level. This data is subsequently analyzed using the SEM-PLS method to analyze both direct and indirect relationships among variables. Furthermore, supply chain optimization significantly mediates the relationships between these independent variables and warehouse management outcomes, emphasizing its crucial role in translating operational capabilities into performance improvements. Among the predictors, warehouse capability demonstrates the strongest total effect on management effectiveness, highlighting the importance of infrastructure and technological support in logistics operations. This shows that PT Sinergi Mitra Lestari Indonesia must enhance warehouse efficiency, optimize space utilization, and strengthen supply chain processes to remain competitive in the mining sector.
