Abstract

PT ASDP is a company engaged in the field of water transportation. Its main function is to provide access to inter-island public transportation as well as transportation access to areas that do not yet have crossings. Maintenance of ships at PT. ASDP is a must, so the speed of warehouse services in providing spare parts is important. Currently, the spare parts storage warehouse belongs to a third party (BGR warehouse) which shows a large accumulation of goods. This will result in damage if the spare part has a limited-service life and an increase in warehouse rental costs on third parties. Therefore, PT ASDP plans to transfer its spare parts to branch warehouses in Merak and Bakauheuni. This study aims to determine the layout design of the ship spare parts warehouse for PT ASDP branch offices in Merak and Bakauheuni using the class-based storage method, along with the calculation of the needs of using racks and bins. The result of the study is the layout design of the Bakauheni and Merak branch warehouses along with racking and bin needs that can be used as a reference for PT. ASDP in simplifying the process of inbound and outbound spare parts.

Abstract

Employee performance is a critical factor for the success and sustainability of any organisation, and understanding the key drivers of employee performance is crucial for researchers and practitioners. This study, conducted at the Indonesian Classification Bureau, aimed to investigate the influence of the work environment on employee performance, with employee motivation as a mediating variable. The study population comprised the entire workforce of the Indonesian Classification Bureau, with a total of 35 individuals. The Structural Equation Model, processed using Smart PLS software, was employed as the analysis tool. The results demonstrated a significant influence of social support on organizational commitment among employees of the Indonesian Classification Bureau. Also, the study found a significant influence of family-work conflict on the social support experienced by employees. Additionally, family-work conflict had a significant effect on organizational commitment. The study also revealed an effect of family-work conflict on organizational commitment, with social support functioning as a mediating variable for employees of the Indonesian Classification Bureau.

Abstract

SMK Negeri 1 Subang merupakan sekolah kejuruan yang mengkhususkan diri dalam bidang Teknik Logistik. Sekolah ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas guru dan meningkatkan lapangan kerja lulusan di industri logistik. Guru bertanggung jawab untuk membekali siswa dengan kompetensi ilmiah dan teknologi yang penting untuk membantu mereka bersaing dalam peluang kerja. Pelatihan diperlukan bagi guru dan siswa untuk mengatasi tuntutan yang terus berkembang dalam bidang logistik, khususnya dalam sistem informasi. Program pelatihan offline akan didasarkan pada model pedagogis COMP-PLETE, yang mencakup sesi pelatihan bagi guru dan siswa tentang sistem informasi logistik dan pelatihan praktis yang difokuskan pada penerapan sistem ini. Efektivitas akan diukur melalui tes pretest-posttest  untuk pemahaman konsep, observasi selama presentasi materi, dan penilaian melalui angket penilaian diri dan anatarteman. Analisis dilakukan dengan Uji N-Gain. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan luring dengan pendekatan COMP-PLETE efektif meningkatkan kompetensi peserta di bidang Sistem Informasi Logistik. Luaran dari Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini adalah materi pelatihan, modul pelatihan, dan sertifikat pelatihan.

Abstract

Cloud Computing is a service that provides network storage space and computer resources using an internet connection as an access medium. The process of migrating to cloud computing goes through several stages sequentially and continuously, but sometimes the process of migrating to cloud computing faces obstacles or even failure, this is of course a risk for cloud service users. For this reason, before migrating to the cloud, it is necessary to prepare well, because if not, it will cause losses which will have a risk impact on the company. An effort to minimize risks for cloud service users is to carry out a risk assessment. The aim of this research is to create a model for risk assessment of logistics business applications in cloud migration. The risk value measurement model developed adopts the risk management model from the ISACA Risk IT Framework, the risk management process part of the ISO 31000 standard and adopts the phases of the OCTAVE method. Based on the method of measuring risk values from the results of this research, companies will know how much risk is likely to arise due to the use of cloud data centers, so that risk mitigation can be carried out immediately. This will have an impact on increasing the security of cloud services, and this is the main thing in increasing public confidence in using cloud services.

Abstract

Penerapan manajemen risiko di perusahaan sangat penting, agar pengendalian terhadap aktivitas yang ada dapat dipantau sehingga ketika ada hal-hal yang memungkinkan munculnya risiko akan cepat teratasi. Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) Universitas Logistik dan Bisnis Internasional bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan manajemen risiko dengan pendekatan risk register pada bagian produksi, dengan memperhatikan Kejadian, Penyebab, Dampak Risiko, Risk Type, dan Risk Category dan nilai Level Risiko didapat berdasarkan Likelihood dan Severity. Tujuan PKM adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat risiko dari aktivitas bisnis di bagian produksi yang dijalankan oleh mitra. Berdasarkan analisis risiko di bagian produksi didapat bahwa tingkat risiko yang tinggi dan ekstrim adalah aktivitas terkait dengan sistem inventory, sehingga mitigasi risiko yang dilakukan adalah melakukan pelatihan tentang manajemen risiko dan pengelolaan inventory bahan baku dan produk, gudang, dan pengiriman barang. Bentuk pengukuran kegiatan PKM ini menggunakan Uji Normalitas dan Uji-t berpasangan (Paired sample t-test). Hasil dari kegiatan pelatihan teridentifikasi ada peningkatan pemahaman seluruh peserta pada kategori “Tinggi” yaitu dengan nilai Persen N-Gain lebih dari 37,6%.

Abstract

Cihanjuang dikenal sebagai sentra penghasil kebun dan pertanian yang dapat mensuplai bukan hanyadaerah Bandung saja tetapi, Jakarta dan daerah perbatasan Jawa Tengah. Karena pertumbuhan pendudukdan berkembangnya wilayah hunian (Panorama alam sekitar yang indah memikat para pengusaha untukmembangun Vila dan wilayah hunian), lahan pertanian dan perkebunanpun menciut. Teridentifikasibanyak penduduk pendatang yang sifatnya berdomisili tidak menetap, namun tidak terinventarisasidengan baik. Akibatnya, pihak aparat desa tidak dapat mengetahui secara jelas data mengenaikependudukan baik dari sisi mata pencahariannya, pendidikan ataupun status kependudukan apakahpenduduk asli atau pendatang (mengontrak). Dalam tahap implementasi sistem ini pendekatan yangdigunakan adalah pendekatan parallel, yaitu strategi implementasi sistem dengan menjalankandua buah sistem (sistem yang baru dan sistem yang lama) secara bersama-sama. Tujuan dansasaran dalam mengimplementasikan Sistem Aplikasi Pengelolaan Data Penduduk di Desa CihanjuangKec. Parongpong – Kabupaten Bandung Barat ini adalah untuk menanamkan rasa memiliki (sense ofownership) bagi pengguna sistem sehingga dapat mengoperasikan sistem aplikasi dengan baik untukmenghasilkan Laporan Mutasi Penduduk Desa Cihanjuang per periodik sesuai kebutuhan penggunanya

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) Universitas Logistik dan Bisnis Internasional Tahun 2023 mengambil tema “Pelatihan Freight forwarding ” yang ditujukan bagi siswa/i dan guru-guru SMK Negeri 1 Garut Jurusan Teknik Logistik kelas XI sd. XIII. Tujuan pelatihan ini adalah untuk penguatan kompetensi guru dan siswa melalui pelatihan Freight forwarding dalam rangka meningkatkan kualitas belajar mengajar di lingkungan SMK Negeri 1 Garut khususnya pada jurusan Teknik Logistik. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah distance learning online dengan mengadopsi 4 (empat) komponen model pedagogis COMP-PLETE, yaitu Komunitas, Keterbukaan, Multimodalitas, Partisipasi, Personalisasi, Pembelajaran, Pengalaman, dan Peningkatan Teknologi. Bentuk Evaluasi kegiatan PkM ini menggunakan pre-test dan post-test menggunakan aplikasi Quizizz untuk mengukur keberhasilan dari pelatihan Freight forwarding ini. Hasil dari pelatihan ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai post-test siswa/i dan guru memiliki nilai yang lebih baik dibandingkan pre-test, dimana skor maksimal nilai post-test menunjukkan 23% lebih tinggi dengan rata-rata jawaban yang benar naik 50% dibandingkan dengan pre-test. Penguasaan materi meningkat dibandingkan pre-test, dengan peserta yang paling lama menjawab lebih cepat 20 detik dibandingkan waktu menjawab saat pre-test.

Abstract

Digital transformation in the logistics sector is increasingly important to improve the efficiency, speed, and accuracy of services in the global supply chain. However, the adoption of technology in logistics management still faces various challenges, both from the internal side of the organization and external factors. This study aims to identify and analyze the factors influencing the adoption of technology in logistics management through a systematic literature review (SLR) approach. The method used involves the collection and critical analysis of 60 scientific articles published in the period 2018 to 2024 from various reputable databases. The results show that factors such as technology readiness, human resource competence, top management support, external pressures, and relative benefits of technology are highly influential in the adoption process. The discussion further outlined how the integration of these factors can accelerate digital transformation and increase the competitiveness of logistics companies. The study concludes that a strategic approach that considers technical, organizational, and environmental aspects is essential to drive successful technology adoption. It is recommended that logistics companies actively evaluate the readiness of the internal and external environment before implementing new technologies and use the results of this study as a reference in strategic decision-making in the field of logistics digitalization

Abstract

The increasing competition in Indonesia’s logistics sector, particularly in digital courier applications, highlights the need for advanced analytical tools capable of understanding and predicting customer sentiment in real time. However, current sentiment analysis methods often lack contextual depth and predictive capability, limiting their practical value for decision-making. This study aims to develop and validate an integrated analytical framework that combines diagnostic and predictive analytics for logistics performance evaluation. The framework integrates a fine-tuned IndoBERT model for sentiment classification and a Prophet model for time-series forecasting, allowing the analysis of user reviews while accounting for external service disruptions. Empirical validation was conducted using 924 user reviews from the PosAja! application by PT Pos Indonesia. The IndoBERT model achieved an impressive 99.5% accuracy, effectively identifying two main complaint categories: application functionality issues and delivery delays. The Prophet forecasting component successfully modeled sentiment trends, revealing spikes in negative sentiment that strongly correlated with technical service disruptions, such as COD feature failures and server maintenance. The results confirm the framework’s robustness in both diagnosing and forecasting sentiment dynamics. User sentiment proved to be a sensitive real-time indicator of service stability and operational performance. The validated IndoBERT–Prophet hybrid framework provides a novel, data-driven approach for proactive decision-making and continuous service improvement in the logistics industry.

Abstract

Digital transformation in the logistics sector is crucial for improving operational performance and financial outcomes, especially amid the rapidly growing demands of Indonesia’s economy and the global market. This study examines the impact of digital logistics transformation and related factors, including top management commitment, IT capability, employees’ digital mindset and skills, work culture change, human capital capacity, as well as the operational and financial performance of PT Pos Indonesia (Persero). Using a quantitative approach with data collected from 91 senior leaders at PT Pos Indonesia and analyzed through SmartPLS, the study proves that digital transformation significantly enhances both operational and financial performance. The factors that contribute most positively to the success of digital transformation are IT capability, employees’ digital mindset, and human capital capacity. In contrast, top management commitment, individual digital skills, and work culture change did not show a direct significant impact at the early stage. Nevertheless, digital transformation was found to be a strong mediating variable in linking internal company factors with performance improvement. This confirms that digital strategies are not merely technological innovations but also concrete mechanisms for creating business value and strengthening the company’s competitiveness in the logistics industry.
