Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran kompetensi las listrik dengan menggunakan model PjBL ketercapaian waktu yang dihasilkan siswa dalam membuat produk, mendeskripsikan kompetensi las listrik yang dihasilkan siswa, dan mendeskripsikan ketercapaian pembuatan produk.Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah pre-eksperimental dan desain peneliatiannya adalah one shot  case study. Lokasi penelitian ini di SMKN 1 Katapang, populasi  penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MP 2 SMKN 1 Katapang yang berjumlah 36 orang, dan yang dijadikan sampel adalah 6 orang siswa dari kelas X MP 2. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan ialah teknik sampling purposive. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes kinerja dan teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan Content Validity Rasio (CVR) dan Content Validity Index (CVI). Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah pelaksanaan pembelajaran kompetensi las listrik dilaksanakan dengan beberapa tahap yaitu penentuan pertanyaan mendasar, perencanaan proyek, menyusun jadwal, monitoring, menguji hasil dan evaluasi pengalaman. Ketercapaian waktu pembuatan produk yang dihasilkan seluruh kelompok dinyatakan lulus karena tidak melebihi dari alokasi waktu pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian tahap pertama ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan multimedia interaktif offline bilingualteknologi dasar dan model pembelajarannya. Model pembelajaran teknologi dasar berbantuan MMIoffline bilingual yang dirancang dan dikembangkan menitikberatkan tidak hanya pada upayapencapaian kompetensi profesional, tetapi juga dalam upaya peningkatan relevansi dengan tuntutandunia kerja bidang teknik yang bersifat lokal dan global, sehingga hasil pendidikan dapatdimanfaatkan secara efektif dan efisien. Model multimedia interaktif offline bilingual teknologi dasardirancang untuk mereduksi miskonsepsi pada pembelajaran teknologi dasar dan meningkatkankompetensi profesional calon guru teknik di SMK. Sampel penelitian adalah mahasiswa, dosen, gurusekolah menengah kejuruan SBI, stake holder perusahaan dan bengkel teknik yang diambil secara sampelbertujuan (purposive sampling). Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan instrumen penelitian, meliputi:wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) kompetensi profesionalbidang teknologi dasar di perguruan tinggi kependidikan kurang relevan dengan tuntutan industri dansekolah menengah kejuruan tercermin dari struktur kurikulum dan kompetensinya; (2) topik bahan ajarmultimedia interaktif offline bilingual teknologi dasar yang terpilih sebagai sampel adalah sistem airconditioning (AC), karena link sekolah menengah kejuruan, perguruan tinggi dan perusahaan/bengkelteknik; (3) model pembelajaran teknologi berbantuan multimedia interaktif offline bilingual yang sesuaiuntuk teknologi dasar adalah model drill dan simulasi. Implikasi penelitian adalah peningkatankompetensi profesional calon guru otomotif di SMK SBI dapat diupayakan melalui kemampuan gurumerancang dan mengembangkan multimedia interaktif bilingual dan pembelajarannya.Kata-kata kunci : kemampuan profesional, multimedia interaktif offline bilingual

Abstract

Assessment of competency in schools is carried out by teachers using conventional tests, consists of multiple choice tests, essay tests, and skills tests using open scoring competency tests based on the teacher's principle of "being in charge" in scoring. Therefore, a assessment of competency tool is needed that measures the real competence of students. The research objective was to diagnose students' skills in automotive body vocational learning through a dichotomy scoring competency test. The research method used is pre experimental design (non designs) one shot case study. The research was conducted in January-March 2020. The research location was in a state vocational high school in Bandung. The research sample used simple random sampling of 32 students. Data collection used a dichotomy scoring skill test. Data analysis using percentages. The results showed that: (1) 84% of the students were not competent in the competence of automotive bodies in making mini cars when using the dichotomy scoring competency assessment; (2) only 16% of students were able to complete the competency test by producing work products that match dimensions and on time.

Abstract

The application of green technology in air conditioning technology, as it still uses refrigerants that contain chemical elements that damage the ozone layer and global warming. Over the field of air conditioning technologies that are environmentally friendly, yet coupled with the availability of labor in vocational and college levels are adequate, in both quantity and competence. This research aims to produce automotive air conditioning system simulator and learning models of air in the automotive sound environment-friendly technologies. Research using the method of research and development with the steps: a preliminary study, planning, development through simulator testing, validation, and final product. Simulator is made in accordance with the conditions in the workplace in order to avoid misconceptions and mala-practice automotive air conditioning system. This simulator is made compact and mobile or can be moved and carried. Learning model tailored to the needs of competence. The results showed that with the help of a simulator of automotive air conditioning and appropriate learning model students are able to grasp the concepts and practices 85% faster. Learning outcomes in the affective, cognitive, psychomotor and competence increased significantly.

Abstract

IMPROVING VOCATIONAL TEACHER TECHNOLOGICAL PROFESSIONALISM THROUGH SKILLS DESIGNING AND DEVELOPING OFFLINE INTERACTIVE MULTIMEDIATeaching­ learning in Vocational Schools are mostly Delivered in conventional method, rote learning, demonstration, and practicing using guide book. As indicated in teaching Teknologi Dasar teacher uses conventionsl method, although he/she still uses blackboard, trainer kits in two dimensions. Consequently, students have difficulties in coping conceptual concept that describing process and misconception is emerged. This verbalistic technology teaching will have implication on students inability to compete with other school leavers. Therefore, alternative strategy of learning need to be investigated in order to prepare students to work in work place through multimedia teaching. Innovative learning by using offline interactive multimedia will contribute on learning technology and it reduces misconception and verbalistic technology in school. Offline Interactive Multimedia was designed through five phases: (1) product analysis, (2) product development, (3) experts judgement and revision, (4) field validation, (5) revision and validation for wider subject and final product.

Abstract

Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) yang dilaksanakan merupakan kolaborasipengolahan limbah sampah plastik antara pemulung dan mahasiswa mesin UPI. Permasalahan yangterjadi adalah mahasiswa gamang untuk melakukan transfer keterampilan mesin pengolah sampah,sedangkan para pemulung merasa termarjinalkan karena status pekerjaan sebagai pemungutsampah. Khalayak sasaran PkM adalah pemulung sampah sebanyak 5 (lima) orang dan 3 (tiga)mahasiswa pembuat mesin pencacah plastik. PkM dilaksanakan pada bulan September-Oktober 2021di Worskhop Teknik Mesin UPI, dengan menerapkan protokol kesehatan. Metode PkM adalahmetode kaji tindak, diawali dengan kegiatan: (1) studi kelayakan, melihat permasalahan pemulungdan limbah sampah plastik di kampus UPI; (2) perancangan dan pembuatan, mahasiswa membuatmesin pencacah plastik; (3) implementasi, mahasiswa melakukan transfer teknologi mesin pencacahplastik dan pemulung melakukan pemberdayaan dirinya melalui keterampilan mengoperasikanmesin pengelola sampah; (4) evaluasi, melakukan evaluasi keterampilan pemulung dalammengoperasikan mesin pencacah plastik dan evaluasi transfer keterampilan oleh mahasiswa kepemulung. Hasil evaluasi program transfer keterampilan dari mahasiswa ke pemulung adalah: (1)60% atau 3 orang pemulung mampu beradaptasi dengan pembelajaran yang dilakukan mahasiswa;(2) 54% daya serap pemulung pada keterampilan mengoperasikan mesin pencacah plastik yangdiajarkan mahasiswa; (3) 66% mahasiswa mampu memahami aspek psikologis pemulung pada prosestranfer keterampilan mengoperasikan mesin pencacah plastik. Abstract

The purpose of the study was to assess student learning outcomes on automotive technology literacy skills in aspects of automotive technology knowledge and competence. The research method used descriptive method. The time of the study was carried out from January to March 2022. The research location is in the automotive study program vocational high school in Cimahi City. The research sample used cluster random sampling, 1 (one) class of 35 students was selected. The research instrument was a multiple-choice technological literacy test. Technological literacy indicators consist of identifying scientific problems, explain scientific phenomena, and using scientific evidence. The scope of the test questions is air conditioning in the vehicle. The test questions were validated by five automotive teachers and lecturers. Automotive learning treatment virtually and face to face, using simulator media. Data analysis using percentages. The results of the study show that 46.6 percent of students have automotive technology literacy skills in terms of knowledge and competence, 71 percent of students have scientific identification skills (car air conditioning issues), 46 percent of students have literacy using scientific evidence and 40 percent have literacy in explaining scientific phenomena
