Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to develop new innovations in the form of electronic media that can add effectiveness to the Borneo Spirit Clab taekwondo kick measurement process.Research development or Research and Development (R&D). The research approach used in this research is procedural. The trial subject in this study was the Borneo Spirit Clab.The results of the study were questionnaires that had been validated and tested. The results of the validation by the material experts received the category "very feasible" with a value of 90% and the assessment by the media experts scored a value of 83.75% with the category "very feasible". The results of respondents or athletes get a value of 83.07% with the category "very feasible". So it can be concluded that the product of an electro-based taekwondo kick speed media tool that is developed is valid, feasible and effectively used in kick measurement. Abstract

The growth of the number of Traditional Healers at Kutai Kartanegara Regency increases, including the Traditional Healer of remedies, using medicinal plants. The presence of herbs Traditonal Healers indirectly in improving helath and this condition needs to be proved by a survey to Traditional Healers with remedies of medicinal plant, using a questionnaire instrument. Traditoonal Healers profiles obtained from interviews using a questionnaire that describes Traditional Healers characteristics, source of knowledge, permission practices, place / space of practice, patient records etc. It is of concern is that almost all Traditional Healers not yet registered with the local Ministry of Health and have no record of the patient. While in the case of the medicinal plants used by Traditional Healers, problems that arise are very varied although for medicinal plants / complaints / same disease. Rationally number of medicinal plants, how making the right ingredients, dosage of medication use and how long to use these medicinal plants, needs to be studied to assure safety of use and provide the expected properties. The assessment results will be the direction of further development is still traditionally used or will be carried out research into herbal standardized, phytopharmaca,even into the drug with the specific active compounds, so that can be directed to the acquisition of patents. In the framework of guidance covering the above matters, suggested the existence of cooperation and coordination with the Faculty of Medicine Faculty of Pharmacy, or who are in the province of East Kalimantan.

Abstract

Introduction: World Oral Health Organization (WHO) targeted in 2010 that 90% of children under five years are caries-free.  In 2011, the prevalence of Early Childhood Caries (ECC) was 6%-90% worldwide. It is still far from the WHO target. Many factors can cause caries; one of them was family characteristics. The objective of the study was to analyse the relationship between maternal characteristics (education, occupation, and the number of children) and early childhood caries. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted in the Integrated Post Service (Posyandu) located in the city of Bukittinggi, Indonesia. The sample was 66 parents and their children aged 2-3 years. Maternal characteristic was obtained by interview, whereas the ECC was measured using the def-t index. Data were collected and analysed by the Chi-square test. Three dentists and two dentistry students collected the calibrated data. Results: ECC prevalence was 50% (CI 95%; 38%-62%) with the def-t index of 2.23 ± 2.81 (CI 95%; 1.53-2.92) and caries significant index (CSI) was 5.73. The prevalence of caries-free was found highest in children with working mothers (66.7%) and the lowest (31.6%) in children with basic educated mothers. The highest def-t index was 3.17± 3.212, which was found in three-years-old children, and the lowest was 1.98 ± 2.915, which was found in children with advance educated mothers. Conclusion: There was no relationship between maternal education level, occupation, and the number of children with early childhood caries.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the current payroll and wage system at the Speedlab Indonesia Clinic related to internal control practices according to Mulyadi's theory (2016). This research is descriptive research with qualitative data analysis methods using field studies through interviews and observing the system running at the Speedlab Indonesia Clinic. The results of the study concluded that the payroll and wage accounting system that is running still does not apply good internal control, because in the payroll system there is no separation of responsibilities for related activities and a clear assignment, also several good procedures have not been implemented such as the function of recording attendance time which is not separate from the function of making salary calculations, and the salary calculation function which is not separate from the finance function.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa sistem penggajian dan pengupahan yang berjalan saat ini pada Klinik Speedlab Indonesia terkait praktek pengendalian intern sesuai teori Mulyadi (2016). Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan metode analisis data kualitatif menggunakan studi lapangan melalui wawancara dan mengamati sistem yang berjalan di Klinik Speedlab Indonesia. Hasil Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa sistem akuntansi penggajian dan pengupahan yang berjalan masih belum menerapkan pengendalian intern yang baik, karena di dalam sistem penggajian tersebut belum ada pemisahan tanggung jawab atas kegiatan yang berkaitan dan penetapan tanggung jawab secara jelas serta belum dilaksanakannya beberapa prosedur baik seperti fungsi pencatatan waktu hadir yang tidak terpisah dari fungsi pembuatan perhitungan gaji dan Fungsi perhitungan gaji yang tidak terpisah dari fungsi keuangan.

Abstract

The study's purpose is to analyze how far the influence of recruitment and selection on employee performance at MH Thamrin University, Jakarta. This study used a quantitative method involving 56 respondents. Data collection uses distributing questionnaires to respondents. Data analysis in this study used a validity test, reliability test, simple regression analysis, multiple regression analysis, simple linear correlation coefficient analysis, multiple linear correlation coefficient analysis, coefficient of determination analysis, and hypothesis testing (t-test and F-test). The results of this study indicate that the variables of recruitment and selection have a significant effect on employee performance at MH Thamrin University, Jakarta. The results of the analysis of the coefficient of determination (R Square) are that there is an influence from recruitment and selection which has a contribution of 90.8% on the performance of employees at MH Thamrin University Jakarta, while the remaining 9.2% is the influence of variables not examined in this study.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis seberapa jauh pengaruh rekrutmen dan seleksi terhadap kinerja karyawan di Universitas MH Thamrin Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan melibatkan 56 responden. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pembagian kuesioner kepada responden. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, analisis regrasi sederhana, analisis regrasi berganda, analisis koefisien kolerasi linier sederhana, analisis koefisien kolerasi linier berganda, analisis koefisien determinasi, dan uji hipotesis (Uji t dan Uji F). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel rekrutmen dan seleksi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan di Universitas MH Thamrin Jakarta. Hasil penelitian analisis koefisien determinasi (R Square) adalah terdapat pengaruh dari rekrutmen dan seleksi yang memiliki kontribusi sebesar 90,8% terhadap kinerja karyawan Universitas MH Thamrin Jakarta, sedangkan sisanya 9,2% merupakan pengaruh variabel yang tidak diteliti pada penelitian ini.

Abstract

Latar Belakang : Gigi yang paling banyak hilang pada gigi permanen adalah gigi molar. Indeks DMF-T 2,78, M-T 2,29, MTI 82,4% dengan persentase penggunaan gigi tiruan 9,2% di Kota Padang. Dari 20 Pukesmas di Kota Padang tahun 2011, Puskesmas Lubuk Buaya di Kecamatan Koto Tangah mempunyai jumlah pencabutan gigi permanen tertinggi . Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat gambaran jumlah kehilangan gigi molar permanen di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Lubuk Buaya berdasarkan karakteristik responden. Metode: Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Sampel berjumlah 97 responden merupakan masyarakat berusia 25-44 tahun yang bertempat tinggal di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Lubuk Buaya dan memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 90,7% responden memiliki kehilangan 1-4 gigi molar permanen. Sedangkan sebanyak 9,3% responden kehilangan gigi 5-8 gigi molar permanen. Jenis kelamin laki-laki 84,6% dan perempuan 97,8% kehilangan 1-4 gigi molar permanen. Sebagian besar responden berdasarkan usia 25-44 tahun kehilangan 1-4 gigi molar pemanen. Tingkat pendidikan SD 100% kehilangan 5-8 gigi molar permanen sedangkan tingkat pendidikan SMP, SMA dan Perguruan Tinggi sebagian besar kehilangan 1-4 gigi molar permanen. Simpulan: Terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna antara jenis kelamin, usia, dan tingkat pendidikan terhadap jumlah kehilangan gigi molar permanen di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Lubuk Buaya.
