Abstract

Every system produces independent logs. This makes monitoring logs difficult if not done centrally. The research objective is to monitor and evaluate network security using open source-based Security Information and Event Management (SIEM). The research methods include literature studies, SIEM review, observation at the Data and Information System Center (PDSI), simulation of Open Source SIEM implementation by combining devices in real and GNS3 simulation networks, SIEM deployment using Docker, and the final stage of SIEM application evaluation. The implemented SIEM is able to fulfill 84% of the initial requirements. SIEM integrated with Pfsense firewall and Suricata-Intrusion Prevention System (IPS). Monitoring and evaluation features such as detection and alerting, analysis and investigation, compliance and audit, integration and interoperability, monitoring and reporting, support, and maintenance are important parts of SIEM.

Abstract

Penggunaan High-Performance Computing (HPC) selama pandemi COVID-19 menemui kendala; banyak pekerja mengeluhkan kinerja aplikasi yang lambat dan proses grafis yang buruk. Studi ini menjelaskan bagaimana para peneliti telah melakukan eksperimen ekstensif untuk mengusulkan desain HPC Private Cloud. Studi ini menganalisis beberapa aspek penting yang mendasari proposal desain berdasarkan kebutuhan bisnis perusahaan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah agile requirements engineering yang berguna untuk meningkatkan kompleksitas dalam pengembangan sistem. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah implementasi jenis dan model komputasi awan, optimalisasi penggunaan sumber daya komputasi HPC yang tersedia, dan pengaturan optimalisasi protokol tampilan jarak jauh. Performa aplikasi G&GE meningkat pesat hingga 12,79 kali lipat. Kesimpulannya, total waktu pemrosesan komputasi dan kualitas grafis relatif sama saat pengguna bekerja dari kantor (WFO) atau rumah (WFH).

Abstract

Despite having many advances in video game control such as voice or gesture control, most video game console manufacturers still use a joystick as the main control for their console. Currently, the problem with video game manufacturers is that instead of using the joystick as the point of user interface design, they instead used a design from another device such as a computer or tv. The research will compare Xbox One and Steam OS user interface by using KLM-GOMS Model. Based on the calculation it is concluded that the overall Xbox One has a more efficient design compared to Steam.
