Abstract

ABSTRACT During the COVID-19 pandemic, many media outlets have faced disruption. These disruptions are not only related to health but also to public life and the media industry as a whole. During the COVID-19 pandemic, people made the media the main source of information. The purpose of this research is to find out the transformation of media journalism during COVID-19 in Indonesia. This research uses social information processing theory, which describes how a person develops computer-mediated interpersonal and group communication (online) without non-verbal cues, as well as making it easier and more convenient. The research method uses qualitative methodology with a case study approach. In the atmosphere of the COVID-19 pandemic, where people are traumatized by the rapid and ubiquitous transmission of COVID-19 and social restrictions, communication using computers and smartphones mediated online is one of the right solutions. The conclusion of this research is that the production process of television journalism has changed.

Abstract

The presidential election, which is one of the elections in Indonesia, is conducted through a direct election procedure. In the 2024 presidential election, there are many challenges and obstacles in carrying out journalistic duties. In the 2024 presidential election, journalists often put themselves in situations that occur during the coverage of news in the field. The high level of occupational danger in mass media and journalism in the coverage of the presidential election is considered an inappropriate job for women. The purpose of this study is to determine the competence of women journalists in covering news of the Indonesian presidential election of 2024 at Antaranews.com. Competency standards for journalists, based on Press Council Regulation Number: 1/ Regulation-DP/II/2010 on Journalist Competency Standards. In this study, researchers used 2 theories, namely muted group theory and social responsibility theory. The conclusion in this study is that female journalists in Antaranews are very competent in covering the Indonesian presidential election 2024. It is because female journalists have awareness, knowledge, and skills in covering the 2024 presidential election.

Abstract

Abstrak:            Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji Makna Kenyamanan Pengguna Vape Dikalangan Remaja Perempuan Siak Sri Indrapura. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi kualitatif dengan metode Fenomenologi Sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan Teori Fenomenologi dari Alferd Schutz yang didalamnya memiliki Motif yang menjadi tujuan utama dari remaja perempuan menggunakan vape, Makna yang menjadikan remaja perempuan menggunakan vape, Pengalaman komunikasi yang membuat remaja perempuan menggunakan vape. Pembahasan penelitian mengunakan Teori Konstruksi Realitas Sosial Berger dan Luckman yang memiliki tiga proses, Eksternalisasi yang merupakan proses pengenalan identitas remaja perempuan terkait menjadi pengguna vape, Objektivitas dimana memiliki opini terkait dengan pengguna vape, Internalisasi proses bagaimana remaja perempuan memposisikan bahwa dirinya didalam lingkugannya yang telah memiliki opini-opini negative maupun positif terhadap dirinya. Penelitian ini menemukan hasil dari permasalahan ini adalah adanya rasa, kenikmatan, dan masalah yang terjadi pada pengguna sehingga menjadikan remaja perempuan nyaman dalam menggunakan vape. Kata Kunci: Kenyamanan, Vape, Remaja Perempuan, Fenomenologi Abstract:            This study aims to examine the Meaning of Comfort of Vape Users Among Female Teenagers in Siak Sri Indrapura. This study uses a qualitative methodology with the Social Phenomenology method. This study uses the Phenomenology Theory from Alfred Schutz which contains the Motive which is the main goal of female teenagers using vape, the Meaning that makes female teenagers use vape, the Communication experience that makes female teenagers use vape. The discussion of the study uses the Social Reality Construction Theory of Berger and Luckman which has three processes, Externalization which is the process of recognizing the identity of female teenagers related to becoming vape users, Objectivity which has opinions related to vape users, Internalization the process of how female teenagers position themselves in their environment which already has negative or positive opinions about themselves. This study found that the results of this problem were the taste, pleasure, and problems that occurred in users so that female teenagers were comfortable using vape. Keywords: Comfort, Vape, Female, Phenomenology

Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is an approach that integrates social care into a company’s business operations and its interactions with stakeholders. The approach is based on voluntary and partnership principles. CSR awareness is needed as a form of concern for the interests of stakeholders. CSR is not only volunteerism, but also it has become a demand for companies if they want to survive and develop. This study aims to analyze the influence of investment decisions, environmental concerns and environmental performance on CSR. The population were all mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2013-2016. A total of nine companies met the selection criteria. Results using linear regression indicate that investment decisions, environmental, performance concerns positively and significantly affect the extent of CSR. Further research can extend the period of observation. The samples in other sectors on the Indonesian Stock Exchange.

Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian adalah melakukan pendampingan penggunaan aplikasi sistem inovasi digitalisasi pelaporan keuangan BUMDes dan dana desa berdasarkan SAK-ETAP. Metode Pelaksanaan ini dilakukan dengan Identifikasi Permasalahan, Tinjauan terhadap penggunaan Dana Desa yang telah dilakukan. Wawancara dengan aparat desa dan masyarakat untuk memahami kendala yang dihadapi. Hasil pengabdian ini diharapkan adanya perbaikan dalam tata kelola pengelolaan dana desa dan BUMDes yang baik membutuhkan transparansi, akuntabilitas, efisiensi, partisipasi masyarakat, dan peningkatan kapasitas pengelola. Dengan menerapkan prinsip-prinsip ini, desa dapat memastikan bahwa dana yang ada digunakan secara optimal untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat, memajukan perekonomian desa, dan mencapai pembangunan yang berkelanjutan. Implementasi tata kelola yang baik juga akan meningkatkan kepercayaan masyarakat dan pemerintah terhadap pengelolaan dana desa dan BUMDes.

Abstract

A disease outbreak known as COVID-19 (Corona Virus Diseases 2019) is currently affecting virtually every part of the planet. The COVID-19 outbreak is a catastrophe that endangers and disrupts life, causes fatalities, traumatizes victims, and engenders a climate of threat and fear. The COVID-19 pandemic tragedy not only affected the number of sick and deceased individuals but also altered work schedules in the neighborhood. Additionally, COVID-19 has brought about changes in journalism, particularly in television journalism. The purpose of this study is to ascertain the mechanism governing the operational procedures of newsroom and television journalism during the COVID-19 pandemic. Expectancy Violation Theory and Judee K. Burgoon’s Interaction Adaptation Theory were both used in this study. This research approach employed a constructive subjective paradigm and utilized a qualitative case study methodology. The subjects of this study were the journalists and editors of iNews TV and Metro TV. The study’s finding show that the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted how journalists work both in the workplace and in the field, causing disruption and changes to their routines. Nevertheless, the pandemic has also prompted an acceleration of the process of adapting how journalistic tasks are carried out, both in the newsroom and on the ground. Despite the acceleration, the COVID-19 epidemic has expedited the process of adaptation and adjustment. Finally, the transformation has resulted in new business strategies in the television industry due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Village-owned businesses (BUMDes) are crucial to the empowerment of local residents and the growth of the community. BUMDes is crucial to developing a robust local economy, enhancing the welfare of rural communities, and fostering an inclusive and sustainable environment. The goal of the service activity is to help people use the BUMDes Berkah Bersama Integrated SIAK Mobile Application at BUMDes Berkah Bersama in the Indragiri Hulu Regency in order to boost village income, strengthen the village economy, and enhance the welfare of village communities. This service is being implemented using a technique that aids in the Web-based BUMDes business unit management system implementation. Through a variety of evaluation techniques, including surveys, interviews, data analysis, and direct observation, the degree of achievement of the program objectives is assessed. This program, which provides guidance for web-based BUMDes financial reporting, helps villages become more prosperous while also enhancing their financial management and giving their communities more authority. In this approach, the initiative can be viewed as a concrete example of civic engagement for enhancing welfare and sustainable growth in rural communities.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 menyebakan peningkatan kebutuhan informasi masyarakat pada saat itu. Setiap hari manusia selalu bersentuhan dan membutuhkan informasi dari media. Seiring dengan peningkatan kebutuhan informasi, media juga meningkatkan jumlah pemberitaan tentang pandemi Covid 19. Seputar iNews Siang RCTI merupakan program pemberitaan televise swasta tertua di Indonesia. RCTI juga meningkatkan pemberitaan Covid-19 pada massa darurat bencana bulan Maret-Mei 2020. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisa gambaran tentang keberagaman pemberitaan Covid-19 di RCTI selama masa darurat bencana (maret-mei 2020). Metode penelitian yang digunakan Survei dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pada penelitian ini teori yang digunakan adalah Teori Hierarki Media yang diusung oleh Shoemaker-Reese. Berdasarkan analisis, Pemberitaan Covid-19, Seputar Indonesia iNews terjadi peningkatan secara signifikan dengan puncaknya pengumuman penderita pertama di Indonesia. Kesimpulan penelitian ini peningkatan pemberitaan menyebabkan keberagaman pemberitaan covid-19 didominasi oleh kepentingan dan kelompok tertentu. Keberagaman pemberitaan Covid-19 di seputar iNews RCTI terlihat pada tema dan sumber pemberitaan.
