Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve students' skills in the practice of operating the electromagnetic control system carried out by TWI menerapan method combined with collaborative methods. The research was carried out in class II-2 TITL during hours of practice teaching competence electromagnetic control system operates from August to October 2010. This research method is a class action research model with Kemmis and Taggart are carried out in two research cycles and each cycle consists of planning, implementation measures, observation and interpretation, as well as analysis and reflection. The subjects of this study were all students in grade II-2 TITL SMK Negeri 2 Cilacap by the number of 36 students comprising 34 boys and 2 girls. The results of this study is the increased ability of students to the competence of the electromagnetic control system operates. Performance test results that meet the KKM I cycle of 30.56% (11 students) and the second cycle with the KKM by 58.33% (21 students) Keywords: Skills students, operates the electromagnetic control system, method of TWI.

Abstract

This classroom action research is to improve base competence of assembling and disassembling electric component of traffic light. The variable of this research is the improvement of base competence. The researcher used quantitative descriptive statistical analysis with avarage score and percentage in its cycle. The results of this research are (1) there was a 2.7% increase, (2) the students’ activeness in composing the materials increased 5.4%, (3) the students’ activeness in discussion increased 40.54%, and (4) the students’ response increased 0.011% in study problem, 0.159 study club, and 0.078% in group process, in the catagory of agreement was applied group investigation learning model. Abstract

Solving contemporary fiqh problems in Islamic law has many methods for studying them and finding laws to be applied by society. This research aims to determine the use of istihsan and its urgency in legal changes in contemporary society. This qualitative research uses a type of normative legal research, also called library legal research. The collection of legal materials used is a library study in the field of law, which from the perspective of binding strength can be divided into three groups, namely primary, secondary and tertiary legal materials. The study technique used is a combination of deductive and inductive. The deductive method is used to get a detailed picture from the general framework to specific explanations which are then drawn to a conclusion. The result of this research is that the application of law through istihsan is used for the benefit of the benefit. The basis for legal changes in istihsan is seen from several aspects: the existence of texts or special provisions, the existence of a special context, urf or customs, consideration of the benefit, or emergency.

Abstract

The Begalan tradition is a distinctive ceremonial practice in traditional Banyumasan weddings, particularly preserved in Sidareja District, Cilacap Regency. More than a ritual, Begalan conveys philosophical, moral, and religious values transmitted across generations. This study aims to examine the symbolic meanings and social functions of the tradition using a qualitative ethnographic approach, supported by philosophical analysis and the Islamic legal concept of ‘urf. Data were collected through direct observation of begalan ceremonies, in-depth interviews with cultural figures, and a review of relevant literature. The findings reveal that each item used in the ritual, such as the kukusan (steamer), muthu (pestle), and kendil (clay pot), embodies symbolic messages promoting responsibility, patience, and harmony within marriage. The tradition also serves as a medium for moral education and cultural communication to the wider community. From the perspective of ‘urf, begalan is recognized as a local custom that aligns with Islamic principles. Rather than contradicting religious norms, it reinforces Islamic values through culturally rooted expressions. The tradition demonstrates the adaptive capacity of local culture in responding to social change while maintaining its essential meaning. Accordingly, Begalan is not merely a cultural relic, but a living epistemological system and a collective identity that continues to thrive within Banyumasan society

Abstract

This article aims to analyze character formation through congregational Dhuha prayers at Muhammadiyah Elementary School, Al Adzkiya, Wonosobo Regency. This type of field research is qualitative descriptive at Muhammadiyah Al Adzkiya Elementary School, Wonosobo Regency, with primary data sources consisting of the principal, religious coordinator, homeroom teacher, and students at the school through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were collected from field notes, interview results, and documentation, then classified into several categories, units, and patterns, and then conclusions were drawn. The findings and analysis show that the habit of performing the Dhuha prayer in congregation has been proven to shape the character of students into a generation that is disciplined, consistent, patient, loves worship, has good morals and is enthusiastic in seeking knowledge. Some students have become accustomed to it both at school and at home, although some are still not accustomed to it. The habit of performing the Dhuha prayer in the formation of religious character is attempted by providing socialization to students about the Dhuha prayer worship which is highly recommended by the Prophet Muhammad, along with its benefits. The habit of performing the Dhuha prayer has implications for providing a sense of calm, concentration and enthusiasm in the classroom so that learning becomes conducive. Students are also accustomed to starting their activities with prayer and supplication, and asking for ease from Allah SWT
