Abstract

Sustainable Tourism Management has now become one of the main targets in environmental conservation. Including coastal tourism management through Ecotourism. The purpose of this study is to describe the evaluation of proper governance in optimizing the potential of Tete beach in Bone Regency of South Sulawesi to become a sustainable tourist destination. This study uses descriptive qualitative approach and uses observation, interviews, and documentation in collecting the data. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling. The steps in analyzing the data are data processing, data analysis, and interpretation of results. The results show that the governance and the management of Tete Beach are not properly conceptualized. And so far, Tete beach management is still not optimal. These affect the local community income. Tete beach is commonly used as a military training are by TNI. Therefore it is necessary to have good planning in developing Tete beach to become a sustainable mainstay tourist destination. Eventually, good coordination is needed from the regional government, the TNI, the private sector, and the local community to increase the income of local community. Keywords: Optimization, Sustainable Coastal Management, Tete Beach.

Abstract

Halal Tourism is a spirituality tourism monitored by government and marketed due to Indonesian Majority of Muslim religion invested their time and money for it. As the technology advancement occurred, it invites more visitors in Indonesia; therefore, finding marketing model is important to preserve the values of Halal Tourism in Indonesia. With qualitative content analysis, Author is able to examine the video structures ranging from visual, text, and meaning which would elaborate the essential element to be put in marketing model visualization. The analysis could build greater investment if the analysis result could influence the suggestion, and the suggestion is implemented in action. After all the Halal Tourism as spirituality tourism is also dynamic especially after COVID-19 Pandemic.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini mengetahui Potensi Kota Parepare sebagai wisata MICE dimasa transisi kenormalan baru. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dengan langkah pengumpulan, reduksi, dan penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa potensi wisata MICE di Kota Parepare mempunyai prospek yang sangat baik dengan berbagai potensi wisata alam dan wisata buatan serta berbagai macam atraksi budaya yang bisa ditampilkan ketika diselenggarakannya event. Pandemi Covid-19 telah berdampak di sector pariwisata yang mengalami penurunan. Dimasa post Covid-19, pemerintah Kota Parepare menyiapkan strategi dalam rangka pemulihan sektor pariwisata.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the proficiency of front office employees in speaking foreign languages at Swiss-Belhotel Makassar and the challenges they face in mastering foreign languages. The research utilized a qualitative approach, conducting interviews with front office department supervisors who assessed the employees' language proficiency. The findings revealed that the use of foreign languages, particularly English, is crucial in interacting with international guests at Swiss-Belhotel Makassar, especially in areas such as reservations, registration, and services for the room.

Abstract

This community service program aims to develop Tongke-Tongke Tourism Village in Sinjai Regency through potential mapping and the utilization of local natural resources. The main problems identified include limited accessibility and the suboptimal use of local resources such as palm sugar and coffee. The implementation method employed a participatory approach involving observation, focus group discussions (FGD), and hands-on training in processing coffee drinks with palm sugar. The results show an improvement in community understanding and skills in managing tourism potential, as well as emerging initiatives to develop local beverage businesses. This activity contributes to enhancing community capacity in sustainable village tourism management and strengthens the local economy through innovation based on locally sourced natural resources.
