Abstract

The catchment area of Torosik River exists in Pinolosian Bolaang Mongondow region, often make flooding in society area because the discharge flooding is more than Torosik River capacity. The reduction of flood discharge is carried over with river flowing of Torosik reach in existing condition and the exist of retention pond in upstream part of river and river normalization in downstream part, using HMS and HEC-RAS computation tools. The peak outflow of one retention pond results 88.5 m3/sec, two retention pond results 86.9 m3/sec, and 93.3 m3/sec for existing condition. River flow simulation of river normalization condition results average water surface level 12m , and existing condition results average water surface level 13m. The reduction of flood discharge in existing condition and the exist of two retention pond result 6.4 m3/sec, if it is conversed to the height of water surface with constant velocity then get the height of water is just 0.5m.The river normalization result of discharge reduction more than the exist of retention pond of the Torosik catchment area.  Keywords: watershed,, catchment area, flood discharge, peak discharge, HMS-HECRAS.

Abstract

Besarnya transport sedimen yang terjadi di sungai harapan mengakibatkan alinyemen alur sungai berubah dari tahun ke tahun. Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui besarnya laju angkutan sedimen pada kondisi banjir rancang periode ulang. Analisa hidrologi untuk mengetahui debit sungai menggunakan metode hidrograf satuan sintesis Nakayasu berupa transformasi dari hujan rancang menjadi debit banjir rancang. Adapun analisis angkutan sedimen dilakukan dengan persamaan Einstein dan persamaan Meyer-Peter.Hasil analisis menunjukan besar debit banjir rancang periode ulang 2 hingga 100 tahun pada sungai Harapan berkisar antara 55,535 m3/s hingga 126,202 m3/s. Adapun laju angkutan sedimen metode Einstein untuk debit banjir periode ulang 2 hingga 100 tahun berkisar antara 11182,724 ton/tahun hingga 18696,496 ton/tahun. Sedangkan laju angkutan sedimen yang dihitung dengan metode Meyer-Peter untuk debit banjir rancang periode ulang 2 hingga 100 tahun berkisar antara 4814,128 ton/tahun hingga 8916,966 ton/tahun

Abstract

Food is one of the most basic needs for human existence. Food is a source of maintaining a person's health. In order to raise the standard of public health, the populace must routinely eat fulfillment, a basic need. To attain food self-sufficiency, there must be a corresponding rise in food production with population growth. The supply of irrigation water for food production must be balanced with the growth in food output. Utilizing water resources from Tami Dam, agricultural land with an irrigation area of 5000 Ha is located in East Koya and West Koya, Muara Tami District, Jayapura City. In order to ensure that there is enough water for every acre of agricultural land that is irrigated by irrigation water channels, irrigation water needs must be taken into account. To address a number of water-related issues that could become uneven, the requirement for irrigation water for food production must be taken into account. The methodology employed in this study begins with the collection of climatological data, followed by an analysis of percolation rates, an analysis of evaporation using the Penman method, an analysis of evapotranspiration using the Modified Penman method, an analysis of the water requirements for soil processing, and an analysis of the water requirements for rice plants. According to the study's findings, the Muara Tami District's maximum evapotranspiration (Eto) demand over the previous ten years was 7.22 mm/day, or 0.84 ltr/sec/ha. The Muara Tami District has a mandated irrigation water requirement (DR) of 1.99 ltr/sec/ha.

Abstract

Flexible pavement is the most widely used pavement in Indonesia. There are three types of hot mix asphalt in Spesifikasi Umum Bina Marga 2018 Rev. 2, including Asphalt Concrete (AC), Thin Layer Asphalt Concrete (Hot Rolled Sheet, HRS) and Stone Matrix Asphalt (SMA). Of the three types of hot mix asphalt Stone Matrix Asphalt has advantages but is rarely used in Indonesia, especially in Papua. This is what then motivated the author to raise the research topic to find out whether local materials in the Jayapura Regency area can be utilized as a basic material for Rough Stone Matrix Asphalt (SMA).This research was conducted at the BPJN Jayapura Testing Laboratory with asphalt levels of 5.5%, 6.0%, 6.5%, 7.0% and 7.5%. Coarse aggregate in the form of crushed stone and stone ash was obtained from Kampung Harapan, Jayapura Regency while sand was obtained from River at Waibu District Jayapura Regency and filler from stone ash. The results of the water absorption test stated that the aggregate from Kampung Harapan had a value greater than 2% and sand 0.872%. The marshall test results showed that the stability and flow values continued to increase with the addition of asphalt content and decreased at 7.5% asphalt content. While the Void In Mix value decreased with the addition of asphalt content and the Void In Mineral Aggregate value continued to increase with the addition of asphalt content although it was still below the standard. Optimum Asphalt Content is obtained with a value of 6.13%. The residual strength index is 84.77%. As for the price difference between Stone Matrix Asphalt Rough is more expensive by 15.02% compared to the Intermediate Layer Laston (AC - BC).

Abstract

Food sovereignty is one of the main programs of the Indonesian government at this time. Food sovereignty must start from gradual food self-sufficiency followed by an increase in the added value of agricultural businesses that are widely used to improve the welfare of farmers. Some of the obstacles include land status, land to be printed is recorded as a forest area, water sources do not yet have adequate irrigation networks. The purpose of this service is to evaluate the achievement of the rice field printing program, analyze obstacles in achieving the program to re-optimize rice field printing land. The methods used are the Survey Preparation Stage, Survey Stage, Investigation Stage and Evaluation Stage and Report Preparation. The results obtained are: the rice field printing program only reached 10 hectares of the expected 200 hectares or only reached 5%, so real follow-up action is needed from the recommended steps, namely: increasing PPL, improving irrigation networks, adding facilities and infrastructure, and rice fields are used as secondary crops. Although there are obstacles faced, they can be resolved well.

Abstract

The need for clean water increases every year, this is due to an uncontrolled increase in population growth so that the population is directly proportional to water needs. The problem of increasing water availability and demand due to the impact of uncontrolled population growth is also felt in Waya Udara Hamlet, Tehoru District, Central Maluku Regency. The reservoir clean water distribution network system was built to meet the clean water needs of the people of Waya Udara Hamlet at that time, but with the population growth that increased the need for clean water, so residents looked for other ways to meet clean water needs This research uses a type of quantative research with a descriptive method that aims to find facts that actually occur in the field. In this study, the study population was all heads of families in Waya Udara Hamlet, Tehoru District, Central Maluku Regency. The number of households in the village is 90 households. Analysis and Assessment of Community Satisfaction Level with Clean Water Service Distribution Service quality is one of the techniques for measuring the level of satisfaction. The results of the analysis of the level of satisfaction with the clean water service of Waya Udara Hamlet through the results of questionnaires for satisfaction, from the aspects of taste, color, smell, taste and turbidity are very satisfying. From the aspect of needs, water discharge, water tariffs are also very satisfied with the average satisfaction with needs and availability as well as tariffs and water discharge because of the results of the analysis of availability and needs. for the analysis of the availability and need for clean water of Waya Udara Hamlet in 2023 is 47.79 m3 / day for the needs of a population of 354 people and for the projection of the next 10 years in 2033 with a population of 496 people requires water as much as 66.9 m3 / day based on the discharge availability at the source is 4.97 liters / second with 1 hour filling the reservoir bath is 17.89 m3 / hour with the filling time for the reservoir for 100 m3 / day is 5.89 hours / m3 / tub. From the results of the analysis, it can be seen that the availability is greater than the need for projections for the next 10 years and from the results of the analysis on SPSS-22 the level of satisfaction with the use of clean water in the Waya Udara Hamlet Community is satisfactory because the availability and need for water are met.

Abstract

Aliran pada saluran terbuka merupakan aliran yang mempunyai permukaan bebas yang mempunyai bidang kontak yakni pada dinding dan dasar saluran. Saat ini banyak terdapat saluran yang pada realitanya tidak memperhatikan standart perencanaan untuk kemiringan, dimensi saluran ataupun kelayakkan banyak sedikitnya volume sedimentasi yang tertinggal pada saluran,sehingga pada akhirnya menimbulkan bencana dan kerusakan lingkungan.Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu melakukan studi ekperimen saluran dengan variasi kemiringan dan debit sehingga mendapatkan gambaran angka kecepatan aliran dan vomume sedimentasi dari suatu flume yang permukaan dasarnya dari pasir kasar. Metode yang di gunakan yaitu pengujian aliran dari model fisik saluran. Hasil eksperimen diperoleh jika kemiringan saluran 3% volume sedimentasi 132 m3, gaya seret 1,866 kg/m3 dan kecepatan adalah sebesar 0,485 m/det sedangkan jika kemiringannya 7 % diperoleh volume sedimentasi 184,8 m3, gaya seret 0,8 kg/m3 dan kecepatan sebesar 0,403 m/det. Ada pengaruh significant jika terdapat perubahan kemiringan saluran dan ketebalan material dasar pasir kasar.
