Abstract

The population in this study is the elderly who live in Banjar Tengah, Negara District, Jembrana Regency, Bali. The sample used in this study was selected using purposive sampling method, with a total sample of 62 people who met the criteria. The results showed that there was a significant effect simultaneously of hope, support from friends, and family support on the quality of life of the elderly because the p value Chi-Square was 0,000 where <α 0.05 or the value of Chi-Square Count 70.870> Chi-Square table. 7,815. The logistic regression test results show that the Nagelkerke R Square value is 0.908 and Cox & Snell R Square is 0.681, which indicates that the ability of the independent variable to explain the dependent variable is 0.908 or 90.8% and there are 100% - 90.8% = 9,2% other factors outside the model that explain the dependent variable

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the factors that influence the level of anxiety in the elderly during the Covid-19 pandemic. The study was conducted in November 2020. The research design was descriptive-analytic, with a total sampling technique of sampling. The total population in this study was 62 elderly. The data collection technique used was a guided interview using a Self Reporting Questionnaire (SRQ-20) consisting of 20 question items. Data analysis in this research is a univariate analysis using frequency distribution analysis. And bivariate analysis using the chi-square test. The relationship between gender and anxiety levels were obtained with a value of p=0.601 (p<0.05). The relationship between age and level of anxiety was obtained p-value = 0.655 (p <0.05). The relationship between the disease and the level of anxiety obtained p-value = 0.876 (p < 0.05) The relationship between knowledge and anxiety level obtained p-value = 0.008 (p < 0.05)

Abstract

Health workers are very vulnerable to high stress. Symptoms of burnout include physical fatigue, headaches, nausea, emotions, depression, frustration, irritability, feelings of sadness and fatigue. The purpose of the literature review is to examine the incidence of burn out in nurses who treat patients with COVID-19. The review was conducted using the literature review method. Based on the results of the Scopus and Science Direct database searches with the keywords "Burn Out, nurses and Covid 19", 321 articles were obtained. After screening articles based on inclusion and exclusion criteria, a total of 5 articles were included in this review study. In general shows the burn out of nurses who treat patients with COVID-19 cases such as fatigue, emotionality, depersonalization and professional efficacy. The COVID-19 pandemic shows an increase in nurse burn out, so it is important to control it so as not to reduce the quality of performance
