Abstract

Mata kuliah bahasa Arab bagi sebagian besar mahasiswa merupakan momok yang menakutkan, apalagi mahasiswa tersebut belum pernah belajar bahasa Arab sebelumnya. Asumsi tersebut akan berubah dengan sendirinya, seiring dengan waktu setelah mereka belajar desain materi ajar bahasa Arab yang berbasis joyful learning, belajar bahasa Arab selalu diringin dengan rasa senang dan penuh permainan, tetapi unsur materi bahasa mereka juga mendapatkannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendesain dan mengembangkan materi ajar berbasis joyful learning. Jenis penelitian pengembangan ini mengacu pada langkah-langkah model Borg dan Gall, data dikumpukan dengan tehnik observasi, wawancara, document, angket dan check list kemudian dianalisis secara kualitatif dan quantitative  descriptive. Desain buku ajar pembelajaran bahasa Arab berbasis joyful learning bagi mahasiswa non Pendidikan Bahasa Arab (PBA). Pada tahap validasi ahli materi dan validasi ahli media keduanya memberikan skor “sangat baik” dan desain produk buku ajar dinyatakan “layak” untuk dipergunakan sebagai materi ajar bagi mahasiswa non PBA IAIN Ponorogo. Setelah diuji cobakan kepada mahasiswa, mereka merasa senang dan antusias dalam proses pembelajaran bahasa Arab dengan indikasi bahwa mahasiswa tidak khawatir akan kesalahan membaca teks bahasa Arab, tidak mengalami kesulitan dalam mencari kosa kata, sehingga pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap materi ajar bahasa Arab dapat dilihat pada skor pre test rata-rata test 61,23,  sementara skor post test 87,13  artinya ada peningkatan skor yang signifikan setelah diajarkan dengan desain materi ajar  bahasa Arab berbasis joyful learning.

Abstract

Bahasa Arab bagi pelajar-pelajar Indonesia termasuk bahasa Asing. Dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab dikenal ada empat keterampilan berbahasa. Salah satu kemampuan tersebut adalah Kemampuan berbicara. Kemampuan berbicara dengan bahasa Arab merupakan salah satu kemampuan yang akan  dicapai dalam kegiatan pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Artikel singkat ini dengan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif eksploratif telah mengungkap rahasia meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara bahasa arab siswa/siswi Madrasah Aliyah Walisongo Ngabar dengan penguasaan mufradat dan menerapkannnya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari (al-muhadatsah al-yaumiyah)Arabic for Indonesian students, including foreign languages. In learning Arabic is known there are four language skills. One such capability is the ability to speak. The ability to speak Arabic is one of the capabilities that will be achieved in the Arabic language learning activities. This brief article by using explorative qualitative research approach has revealed the secret of improving the ability to speak the Arabic language student/student Madrasah Aliyah Walisongo Ngabar with mufradat and menerapkannnya mastery in everyday life (al-muhadatsah al-yaumiyah)

Abstract

The teaching process is now more focused on interactive media-based learning technology such as CDs, laptops and the Internet, but nowadays many teachers still maintain and use media only based on textbooks, so learning Arabic tends to be boring and student interest is very low. GMI.B students are the average graduates from public schools (SMK and SMA). The purpose of this study was to increase student interest in learning Arabic by designing teaching materials based on Adobe Flash CS6. This study uses the type of research R&D (Research Development) with the ADDIE model, data is collected using observation, interviews, documentation, questionnaires and check lists techniques and then analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively descriptively with (T.test) test. t. Design of teaching materials for Arabic learning based on Adobe Flash CS6 for GMI.B students. The material expert validation stage and media expert validation both gave a score of "very good" and the product design of the textbook was declared "feasible" to be used as an Arabic language learning media application. The results of the pre-test test of interest in learning Arabic for GMI.B IAIN Ponorogo students before using the design of Arabic learning teaching materials based on Adobe Flash CS6 resulted in an average of 75.88. While the results of the post-test test of interest in learning Arabic for GMI.B IAIN Ponorogo students after using the design of Arabic learning teaching materials based on Adobe Flash CS6 resulted in an average of 87.88. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the use of Adobe Flash CS6-based Arabic learning teaching materials can effectively increase interest in learning Arabic for GMI.B IAIN Ponorogo students. Abstrak Proses pengajaran sekarang lebih menitik beratkan pada teknologi pembelajaran berbasis media interaktif seperti CD, laptop dan Internet, tetapi dewasa ini banyak juga pengajar yang masih mempertahankan dan menggunakan media hanya bersumber pada buku teks, sehingga pembelajaran bahasa Arab cenderung membosankan dan minat mahasiswapun sangat rendah. Mahasiswa GMI.B adalah rata-rata lulusan dari sekolah umum (SMK dan SMA). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan minat mahasiswa dalam belajar bahasa Arab dengan desain materi ajar berbasis Adobe FlashCS6. Sedangkan hasil pengujian post test minat belajar bahasa Arab mahasiswa GMI.B IAIN Ponorogo sesudah penggunaan desain materi ajar pembelajaran bahasa Arab berbasis Adobe FlashCS6 menghasilkan rata-rata sebesar 87,88. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan desain materi ajar pembelajaran bahasa Arab berbasis Adobe FlashCS6 efektif dapat meningkatkan minat belajar bahasa Arab mahasiswa GMI.B IAIN Ponorogo

Abstract

The development of an online mobile application designed with semantic mapping flow for vocabulary learning in the context of Arabic for Specific Purposes (ASP) is accessible anytime and anywhere. It facilitates searching and learning vocabulary terms related to research methods for students majoring in Arabic Language Education (PBA) writing their theses. This research falls under the Research & Development (R&D) model, specifically the ADDIE model. Data analysis techniques involve descriptive statistical analysis. This study aims to develop an online mobile application for learning research method vocabulary in the context of ASP in higher education. The results indicate that assessments from media and content experts regarding the online mobile application received an average score of 4.54. This score suggests that the mobile application with semantic mapping flow is a suitable and effective tool for learning vocabulary in the context of ASP, despite minor revisions based on expert feedback. Feedback from 22 PBA students using the application after conducting an effectiveness test using the N-Gain test revealed that 86% of students considered the product very effective. In contrast, the remaining 14% categorized it as less effective. This is supported by an average pre-test score of 74.4 and an average post-test score of 96.8, resulting in an N-Gain value of 86%, indicating a high level of effectiveness for the developed product.

Abstract

This study investigates the potential of Augmented Reality (AR) as a learning medium to improve students’ comprehension of Arabic sentence structures. Employing a quasi-experimental pretest–posttest control group design, the research involved 60 fourth-semester students of the Arabic education program, divided into experimental and control classes. Data were obtained from achievement tests and perception questionnaires. The findings showed that students in the AR class achieved significantly higher gains in syntactic comprehension than those in the control class, with a large effect size indicating the strong pedagogical impact of AR. In addition, students expressed highly positive attitudes toward AR, perceiving it as motivating, easy to use, and effective in visualizing grammatical structures. These results suggest that AR not only strengthens the cognitive processes of dual coding and spatial visualization but also contributes to the pedagogical development of Arabic language instruction. The study highlights the novelty of applying AR in Arabic syntax learning and offers theoretical implications for computer-assisted language learning and applied linguistics.
