Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes by applying the Word Square learning model. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research was conducted at SD Negeri 104209 Saentis. The subjects are students of class IV B with a total of 29 students, while the object of this research is the improvement of student learning outcomes. Data collection techniques used are tests and observations. The results of the pretest data analysis showed that from 29 students who completed as many as 8 people (27.50%) by exceeding the KKM = 70 and 21 students (72.41%) had not completed, with a class average of 53.10. Furthermore, the results of data analysis in the first cycle showed that of the 29 students who completed as many as 18 people (62.07%) and 11 people (37.93%) who had not completed, with an average grade of 70.86. In the second cycle, there was an increase in student learning completeness, namely from 29 students, 25 (86.21%) were completed and 4 (13.79%) were not completed, with the average grade of the class increasing to 80.69. The results of observations of teacher activities in the first cycle of the first meeting were 81.67% and at the second meeting of the second cycle it increased again to 93.33%. Based on the findings from the research, it can be concluded that the application of the Word Square model can improve student learning outcomes on the theme 8 My Living Area in class IV SD Negeri 104209 Saentis 2018/2019 academic year. Abstract

This research is a classroom action research (PTK) using Role Play learning method as the main target aimed to improve student's learning motivation and to know the difference of students' learning motivation using Role Play learning method with those who do not use Role Play learning method on Science subjects Social on the matter of social problems in the fourth grade of Private Elementary School Xaverius Padangsidimpuan. Thus it can be concluded that the ability of students in understanding the material social problems in Social Science lessons has been motivated in learning.Keywords: Role Play Method, Learning Motivation, IPS Learning.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop the concept of the Physical Education Course with the Outcome Based Education concept in the Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program. The Outcome Based Education concept is applied by utilizing technology as a lecture companion. The research method applied is Borg and Gall Design Research and Development. the effectiveness of the results can be explained that the implementation of Outcome Based Education in the Elementary School Physical Education course shows that it has an assessment of 94 which is in the Very Good category. The results of the Outcome-Based Education assessment have the highest score of the test scores carried out, namely in the limited test it gets a score of 66, in the main test it gets a score of 73, and in the operational test it gets a score of 93. The conclusion of the research shows that Elementary School Physical Education lectures can contribute as a rule an outcome-based education-based lecture development model through the application of the case method and team-based project lecture methods within the State University of Medan.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to produce a model of using online learning media in the Sport and Scouting Course of the Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program at the State University of Medan. The development of the concept of learning through online learning in courses can create technology sensitivity, both learning that increases the competence of physical and theoretical skills. The method that will be used is the research and development (R&D) method, which is an analysis that includes design, production, and evaluation. The study of development procedures used is the Richey and Klein level 4 method, namely carrying out research and development steps by designing products. The data obtained were then analyzed through the Forum Group Discussion (FGD). The results of]’ the study obtained that the effectiveness of the product was 93% with a very good category. The conclusion of the research is that the product can be used as a reference for the development model of lectures in the network at the State University of Medan. Keywords: Model, Learning, Course Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan model penggunaan media pembelajaran dalam jaringan pada Mata Kuliah Keolahragaan dan Kepramukaan Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar di lingkungan Universitas Negeri Medan. Perkembangan konsep belajar melalui pembelajaran dalam jaringan pada mata kuliah dapat menciptakan budaya peka teknologi, baik perkuliahan berorientasi pada kompetensi keterampilan fisik maupun teoritis. Metode yang akan digunakan adalah metode research and development (R&D) bersifat analisis yang meliputi perancangan, produksi, dan evaluasi. Kajian prosedur pengembangan yang digunakan adalah metode Richey and Klein level 4 yaitu melaksanakan langkah-langkah penelitian dan pengembangan dengan merancangan produk. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dilakukan kegiatan analisis melalui Forum Group Discussion (FGD). Hasil penelitian diperoleh efektivitas produk 93% dengan kategori sangat baik. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah produk dapat dijadikan rule model pengembangan perkuliahan dalam jaringan di lingkungan Universitas Negeri Medan. Kata Kunci: Model, Pembelajaran, Mata Kuliah
