Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of transactional analysis group counseling approach in improving the ability of students' social interaction with their peers. This type of research is quasi-experimental design with one group pre-test and post-test. The subjects in this study were 9 high school students who had low social interaction. The research data were collected using a non-test instrument in the form of a social interaction questionnaire, consisting of 50 valid statements and a reliability level of 0.928. From the analysis results obtained an average student pre-test data = 154.7 including the low category and standard deviation (SDx) = 3.91, while the average student post-test data results = 166.9 including the high and standard deviation categories (SDy) = 531.00. Hypothesis testing using the level test formula marked Wilcoxon obtained the results of J count = 19 and the price of J table = 6. From the table of critical values J for the Wilcoxon level test mark for n = 9, = 0.05 two-way test J 0.05 = 6. Therefore J (19> 6). In accordance with the criteria for acceptance and rejection of the hypothesis, the hypothesis is accepted if Jcount> Jtable. Thus it was stated there was an effect of providing group counseling services to the increase in students' social interaction with peers through the transactional analysis approach. Abstract

ABSTRAKUjian Nasional dipandang oleh siswa memiliki kedudukan yang sangat penting, sehingga siswa takut gagal. Hal itu ditegaskan oleh Nevid   (2005) yang menyatakan bahwa keterfokusan siswa terhadap Ujian Nasional, menjadikan ujian Nasional  sebagai  salah  satu  sumber  kecemasan  bagi  seorang  siswa.  Santrock (2007) menambahkan ketika menghadapi ujian siswa kadang merasa cemas atau khawatir saat menghadapi kesulitan di sekolah, seperti saat akan mengerjakan ujian. Fenomena kecemasan menghadapi ujian  Nasional merupakan fenomena yang umum terjadi di  kalangan siswa.  Perasaan   tertekan,     khawatir,     dan takut    akan kegagalan, yang    dirasakan siswa    saat menghadapi  Ujian Nasional adalah hal yang paling membebani para siswa, sehingga untuk mengatasi sindrom yang menggejala tersebut diperlukan upaya persiapan dan dukungan integral dari aspek  material,  moral,  mental,  psikologis,  spiritual,  intelektual  dan  emosional yang dilakukan pihak yang terkait. Dalam mengatasi permasalahan tersebut tim pengabdi  merumuskan dan mengimplementasikan program kerja sama guru bimbingan konseling dan guru matapelajaran dalam mempersiapkan siswa menghadapi ujian nasional. Secara umum program penyiapan siswa menghadapi ujian nasional ini meliputi kegiatan sosialisasi program, pelaksanaan program, dan pelaporan dan evaluasi. Model program penyiapan siswa menghadapi ujian nasional ini dilakukan dengan metode diagnosis dan remediasi.Kata Kunci : ujian nasional, diagnosis, remediasi

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian layanan konseling kelompok teknik assertive training terhadap perilaku bullying verbal siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Percut Sei Tuan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 8 orang dilakukan mengunakan purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, dan dianalisis dengan menggunkan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil analisis data yang diperoleh dari uji wilcoxon ini adalah nilai Jhitung=0 dengan α = 0,05 dan n = 8, Jtabel = 4 dengan demikian Jhitung< Jtabel (0 <4 ). Artinya hipotesis diterima. Hasil data pre-test di peroleh rata-rata 102 dan data post-test diperoleh rata-rata 68 artinya skor rata-rata Siswa Kelas VIII “SMP Negeri 2 Percut Sei Tuan Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018” setelah mendapatkan layanan konseling kelompok teknik assertif Training diperoleh skor sebesar 34 (34%). Hal ini menunjukkan ada pengaruh pemberian layaan konseling kelompok teknik assertif training terhadap perilaku bullying verbal siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Percut Sei Tuan sebesar 34%.Kata kunci : Bullying Verbal, Konseling Kelompok, Assertif Training

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effect of Group Counseling Services with a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Approach to Gen Z on Dating Behavior. The method used in this study is a quantitative method. This type of research is Quasi Experimental using One Group Design Pre-Test and Post-Test. The subjects in this study were 6 students of grade X who had high dating behavior scores. The instrument used was a dating behavior scale. The instrument was given before and after the implementation of group counseling services. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test to see whether there was a significant effect of providing group counseling services with a cognitive behavioral therapy approach on dating behavior in students. The results of the analysis showed that the initial results (pre-test) in the experimental group obtained an average of 173.33 while the post-test data obtained an average of 95.66. The results of the hypothesis analysis show that the Wilcoxon rank test obtained Jhitung = 3 while Jtabel = 0. Jhitung > Jtabel where 3 > 0, from this calculation it can be seen that the treatment in the experimental group means that the hypothesis that states there is a significant influence of providing group counseling services using the cognitive behavioral therapy approach on dating behavior in gen z can be accepted. The conclusion of the study is that there is a significant influence of providing group counseling services through the cognitive behavioral therapy approach on dating behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the role of extracurricular activities PASKIBRA contributes to enhancing the discipline of teenagers at State Senior High School 18 Medan and to understand the role of guidance counselors in supporting extracurricular activities. The problem formulation in this research is how the role of extracurricular activities PASKIBRA improves the discipline of students at the school and how the role of guidance counselors assists in extracurricular activities. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive qualitative research methods. The subjects in this study were selected using purposive sampling technique. The selected subjects are individuals involved in extracurricular activities at State Senior High School 18 Medan who can provide information, such as the Principal, the Vice Principal of Student Affairs, the PASKIBRA coaches and alumni, guidance counselors, class supervisors, and PASKIBRA members. The findings of the research indicate that the extracurricular activity of PASKIBRA plays a relevant role in improving the discipline of adolescents. Adolescents involved in the PASKIBRA extracurricular activity exhibit a higher level of discipline compared to other extracurricular activities or to those who do not participate in any extracurriculars at all. The forms of discipline observed among PASKIBRA members include time discipline, study discipline, etiquette discipline, and dress discipline. Support from various parties is crucial for the smooth running and success of this activity. The steps taken to enhance discipline vary, ranging from habituation, exemplification, to supervision. The guidance and counseling teacher also plays an important role in improving adolescent discipline. The guidance counselor actively provides assistance, direction, and motivation to encourage the youth.
