Abstract

Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem caused by inadequate nutritional intake for a long time due to feeding that is not in accordance with needs. Based on data in 2018, there were 17 districts/cities in South Sumatra that experienced stunting at the age of toddlers, one of which was the city of Palembang with a prevalence of 25.90%. There were 204 people with stunting in Palembang City in Talang Kelapa Village, 176 people in 14 Ulu and 139 people in 9/10 Ulu. ). Stunting can be anticipated by means such as exclusive breastfeeding until the age of 6 months, good nutritious food, a clean and healthy lifestyle, physical activity, and gradual monitoring of child development. This study aims to determine the relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and the incidence of stunting in children under five. This research is a type of analytic survey research and cross sectional approach. Samples were taken using random sampling technique. Data analysis using chi square test. The results of the study on the variable of exclusive breastfeeding obtained p value = 0.02 (<? = 0.05). The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and the incidence of stunting in children aged 12-59 months with p = 0.002 (< = 0.05). Suggestions from this study are for mothers to be able to provide exclusive breastfeeding to their babies until the age of 6 months and continue breastfeeding until children are 2 years old and perform early detection of stunting by visiting health facilities, health workers at the Merdeka Health Center should maintain and improve the quality of health services in Indonesia. local work area.

Wheres, anesthesia is a whole or partial loss of taste sesation caused by pathology in the neuron system of individual; anesthesia can also be defined as a technique in a medicine delivery (inhalation intravenous, or local) causing numbs partially or bodily for a certain period of time. This research aims at finding out wathers there is a correlation (correlations) between anesthesia and reproduction health disorders of health workers in operating room. This study belonges to analytic studi with cross sectional approach. This studi was done at roman catholic charitas hospital. The research samples were 52 health workers in a operating room at the hospital. The primary an secondary data were taken from questionnaires. Chi-Square (?=0,05) and logistic regression werw used for data analysis technique. This research was done on June 22-30, 2015. At the end of the research, the univariate analysis results showed than there 63,5% of the respondens (Age>35), 88,5% (Highly Educated), 63,5% (Work Period?1 years), and 59,6% (Anasthesia Exposure) who did not suffer from the health reproduction disorders. Meanwhile, the bivariate analysis results indicated p values of the variables, i.e. Age (p value=0.021). work period (p value=1.000), education (p value=1.000, Work period (p value=0-020), and anesthesia Exposure (p value = 0.003). the multivariate analysis results showed that age (p value=0.45) became the best predictor that can make the health workers suffer from reproduction disorders. It can be concluded that there were correlation between Age, work period and Anathesia Exposure with reproduction health Disorders. However, there was no correlation between Education and Health History with Reproduction Heath Disorders. As suggestions, the hospital should conduct any innovative program in order to avoid any secondary effect of the usage of anesthesia to the health works.

Abstract

Stunting is a long-term abnormal condition experienced by children under five years with z-score values less than -2SD and less than -3SD. This study aims to determine the relationship between complementary feeding (MP-ASI) and the incidence of stunting in children under five years, exactly within 12-59 months. This type of research was using an analytic survey with a cross-sectional design of 30 samples selected by random sampling from September 2021 to November 2021. Meanwhile, data collection was carried out by measuring height, interviews, and filling out questionnaires. Whereas, for data analysis was using a chi-square test (p-value <0,05). The results showed that there was a relationship between the variable age of breastfeeding, indicated by a value of p=0,014, while the frequency variable for MP-ASI showed p=0,68 and for the type of complementary feeding variable, the results were p=0,22. Overall, this study concludes that there is a relationship between the age of complementary feeding and the incidence of stunting in children under five years of age 12-59 months, while the variable frequency of giving complementary feeding and the type of complementary feeding has no relationship with the incidence of stunting in children aged 12-59 months.

The Indonesian government has established a Family Planning policy to regulate the distance and age of birth in the hope of reducing the problem of population density which can result in various problems in Indonesia. One type of contraception that is an option is hormonal birth control in the form of injections, both 1-month and 3-month injections. The use of hormonal contraceptives has various risk factors, including weight gain and menstrual cycle disorders. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the relationship between 3-month contraception and body mass index (BMI) and the incidence of amenorrhea. This type of research is an analytical survey with a cross sectional approach. The sample in this study was taken using a purposive sampling technique that was in accordance with the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data collection techniques by distributing questionnaires, interviews and measuring weight and height. The analysis used the Chi Square test and obtained a p value of 0.000, OR=15,0 on duration of contraception with Body Mass Index and p value of 0,001, OR=0,20 on amenorrhea. The conclusion of this study shows that there is an effect of the duration of 3 months of contraceptive use on body mass index and amenorrhea. Therefore it is hoped that health workers and acceptors can always communicate, especially regarding the side effects of contraception

The data collection technique using questionnaires and data was analyzed using the Chi Square statistical test. Based on the results of the analysis, it was shown that out of 35 people, 56.4% had positive personal hygiene behavior, while from 57 people who received indirect information, 89.2% had negative personal hygiene behavior. The results of the Chi Square analysis test obtained a p value = 0.000 (< 0.05) showing that there was a significant relationship between information sources and adolescent girls' behavior about personal hygiene (genetalia) during menstruation. The Family Planning (KB) program is designed as a strategic effort to regulate birth intervals, number of children, and pregnancy for the creation of quality families. In the process of choosing a contraceptive method, the potential for side effects is one of the main considerations for couples to maintain birth distance. However, based on the data, the dominant factor that led to the discontinuation of the use of birth control in all types of methods was the desire to have offspring again, with a percentage reaching 34% The purpose of this study was to find out the difference in fertility recovery after injectable contraception. This type of research is descriptive comparatively with  a cross sectional approach. The sample in this study was taken using a total sampling technique  in accordance with the inclusion and exclusion criteria with a total of 62 respondents. Data collection techniques using factual data questionnaire instruments and analysis used using the Mann Whitney statistical test. The results of the study found that the average recovery time of injectable contraceptives was 1 month for 7.37 months while injectable 3 months for 13.3 months with a p value of 0.001<0.05 hai indicates a difference in fertility recovery from injectable contraceptives of 1 month and 3 months. The conclusion of this study is that there is a difference in fertility recovery after injectable contraception.
