Abstract

Background: The fluctuated patient satisfaction level shows the need to improvenursing performance. Several factors that can improve nursing performance includeleadership, job motivation, management and environment. Leadership and job motivationbecome fundamental aspectsin improving employee performance. Aim: This study analyzedtherole of manager’s leadership and nurses’job motivation on nursing performance in the inpatient room ofthe Indonesian Red Cross Hospital Bogor.Methods: This study sampled a total of 150 nurses in the inpatient roomof the Indonesian Red Cross Hospital Bogorusing the incidental random sampling technique. This study employed a path analysis with three variables, such as manager’s leadership and job motivation as exogenous variables and nursing performance as an endogenous variable.Results: Leadership of the head of the inpatient room couldincrease job motivation and nursing performance.Conclusion: Manager’s leadership and job motivation could affect the level of nurses’ performancepartially and simultaneously. The Indonesian Red Cross Hospital Bogor could provide regular training to every head of the room to enhance their leadership and nurses’ job motivation. Keywords: leadership, job motivation, nurses’ work performance.

Abstract

Performance is the result of work achieved by workers or employees in quality and quantity in accordance with their duties and responsibilities. The problem found is that there is still a lack of ability and expertise of medical record officers in the medical record file storage section, and there is still a lack of infrastructure in the medical record room. The purpose of this study in general is to determine the performance of medical record officers. This study uses qualitative methods of observation, in-depth interviews. The research location was conducted at the Medical Record Section of the Setatah Children's Health Center, Rangsang Barat District, Meranti Regency in February-April 2022. The subjects in the study consisted of the head of the puskesmas, head of medical records, medical record officer, registration officer and TU of the puskesmas. The data processing technique uses source triangulation, method triangulation and data triangulation. Data analysis in this study consisted of data reduction, data presentation and verification/conclusion. The results of the study revealed that there were still some medical record files that were incorrectly stored and the provision of medical record files was found for more than 10 minutes, there had been no training for medical record officers, the motivation given by superiors was only in the form of directions not given rewards, lack of infrastructure such as computers. which supports the application and the lack of a medical record room. For this reason, officers are expected to improve the abilities and expertise of officers, participate in training, provide increased motivation to officers and can add supporting facilities so that they can support better officer performance.

Abstract

Introduction: Processing of medical records in hospitals is to support the achievement of administrative order in order to achieve the goals of the hospital, namely improving the quality of health services in hospitals. The results of preliminary observations in processing medical record files at Bhayangkara Hospital were that there were several obstacles including the not yet done assembling, indexing and analyzing medical records and delays in returning medical record files. The aim this study was to determine the elements of man, money, methods, materials, machines in the medical record processing system at Bhayangkara Hospital to improve the quality of medical record services at the hospital. Methods: Qualitative Research and informants:  This study amounted to eight people. The number of human resources is insufficient and have never attended training. Standard operating procedures have never been socialized and existing policies need improvement. Result: Coding activities are often constrained by doctors' writing and completeness of diagnoses and medical actions. Retrieval activities are often constrained by medical record files that are still in the inpatient room and in the case mix room. Conclusion: Overall from the research results, the implementation of medical record processing is not appropriate and must be regulated according to existing guidelines in order to produce medical records that are accurate, readily available, usable, easy to trace back and have complete information so as to create quality information and it is recommended to use electronic medical records.

Abstract

Manajemen risiko adalah aktivitas terkoordinasi yang dilakukan untuk mengarahkan dan mengelola organisasi dalam rangka menangani risiko lalu diarahkan menuju pengelolaan potensi ancaman maupun kesempatan secara efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan Untuk diperolehnya informasi mendalam analisis manajemen risiko keselamatan dan Kesehatan kerja (K3) pada pekerjaan bongkar muat peti kemas di PT. Pelindo Multi Terminal Branch Dumai tahun 2023. Di PT. Pelindo ditemukan masih adanya pekerja yang tidak menggunakan APD lengkap dengan potensi bahaya pekerjaan dan risiko pada pekerjaan bongkar muat peti kemas di PT. Pelindo antara lain tertimpa material atau benda berat, tergelincir dan terjatuh. Metode yang digunakan penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan analitik dengan obsevasi langsung dan wawancara mendalam kepada 4 orang informan yaitu, 1 orang Supervisor, 2 orang HSSE Officer dan 1 orang Foreman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pada penilaian dan penentuan tingkat risiko ditemukan sebanyak 39 sumber bahaya (hazard) dan menimbulkan 63 Risiko kecelakaan dalam 6 proses kerja, yang termasuk 10 risiko dengan kategori rendah (Low), 15 risiko dengan kategori sedang (Medium), 38 risiko dengan kategori tinggi (High) yaitu : kecelakaan truck, tenggelam, terjatuh dari ketinggian peti kemas, tergores sling crane, patah kaki terjatuh dari tangga/peti kemas, tangan terjepit/tergores, meninggal tertimpa peti kemas, cacat tubuh dan cedera berat. Disarankan kepada PT. Pelindo Multi Terminal Branch Dumai agar memperhatikan kegiatan di lapangan pada setiap proses bongkar muat peti kemas sehingga tidak ada terjadinya kecelakaan di lapangan pada saat bekerja.
