Abstract

Children with autism tend to have hyperactivity, children will tend to be difficult to control. This is certainly an issue when children are in vehicles, especially cars. There are some events related to the automobile accident caused hyperactivity of children with autism. When the children in the car tends to move on, even disturb concentration the driver. Not many safety features on the car is intended for children with autism. Research safety equipment as well as therapeutic tools for children with autism that will be done is a  autism car seat. This tool serves as an extra seat that is able to bind to safely and comfortably seat a child with autism to a primary car seat. This tool is also able to provide autism therapy with the principles of deep pressure when used, generating deep pressure with adjustable pressurized balloon. The tool is attached directly to the car seat with a harness, and then the car safety belt is used as the main security of these devices. Design tools for  autism car seat through stages: preparation of product definition and technical specifications  autism car seat , the design of a product concept for  autism car seat, designing products for  autism car seat , as well as preparation of documents for the manufacture of autism car seats

Abstract

Liquid smoke is a natural pesticide that can be produced quickly and has a low production price. Making liquid smoke is a combustion process carried out with limited air and as little fire as possible, only embers. Then, the smoke from the combustion process with limited air is channeled into a pipe with a cooling system separate from the combustion chamber. This research used a passive cooling system, soaking the heat exchanger pipe with water. The temperature of the smoke produced is kept stable in the range of 80-90 degrees Celsius. The heat exchanger pipe in this research is designed to reduce the heat from the smoke produced by combustion without producing significant air resistance. The most essential requirement is that it can be made with available materials and has low manufacturing difficulty. In selecting a prototype, a heat exchanger system design was produced using a 1.5-inch diameter iron pipe, easily found on the market. The flow of smoke to be cooled through the heat exchanger pipe is from top to bottom, preventing the resulting liquid from being trapped in the curves of the pipe and making it easier for air and smoke that is still hot to remain at the top of the pipe naturally.

Abstract

Wood can be increased in value by adding patterns using light from a laser. The types of laser sources which are currently divided into 4 types include: Semiconductor lasers, Solid-state lasers, Fiber lasers, Gas lasers. Each laser generation source has differences in the way the laser light is generated, the laser wavelength produced and the supporting components needed to operate the laser system. In this research, the type of laser source will be selected according to the criteria determined by the researcher. The selection was carried out using the decision matrix method, with the highest number of values obtained from the Semiconductor lasers type laser source. Followed by testing the laser components into the available wood media. The results obtained by the laser system are in accordance with the criteria set by the researchers

Abstract

Madrasah Tarbiyatul Islamiyah School, located in Blora district, is a religion-based school located on the border between the city and village districts. This madrasah school has tables and chairs that do not accommodate student ergonomics. Inappropriate designs for early childhood also cause students to be less interested in participating in the teaching and learning process. The urgency faced by the Madrasah Tarbiyatul Islamiyah school is: (1) the chairs used for the teaching and learning process lack ergonomics, (2) the design of the chairs cannot attract students' interest in participating in the teaching and learning process, (3) the need to collaborate with schools very much, as improving the quality of schools. The objectives and solutions offered are: (1) designing chairs that can accommodate student ergonomics and increase student interest during the teaching and learning process, (2) provide an understanding of the importance of collaborating with school parties, as a need for creative education in schools through extracurricular learning, (3) Monitoring and Evaluation which will be carried out throughout the implementation and after PKM as a form of sustainable partnership. This PKM is related to the MBKM program involving 3 students with the potential for recognition in the lectures they have taken. The outputs of PKM activities are (1) Scientific publication in the National Journal of Community Service Abdimas, in 2024; (2) Publication of news in online or print mass media within the Central Java region, publication in 2024; (3) Registration of IPR for product design and manufacture of ergonomic character chair products.
