Abstract

This development poses a challenge to fulfill it by increasing the ability to provide or produce it. These conditions require companies to try to make their products available according to consumer needs. So the company should impose a system of Safety Stock, and ROP (Re-Order Point) or a message back point to ensure the availability of raw materials and the way of production. But sometimes the company doesnt pay attention to the lot size inventory efficiency issue. As a result, manufacturing companies tend to make large purchases without regard to the costs incurred. The purpose of this study is to identify safety stock, inventory costs, lot size, and reorder point for raw materials to then plan the billet raw material inventory. The data in the company has varying characteristics of the demand level so that the data is processed by the Lot Sizing Silver Meal method, the Economic Order Quantity and the Period Order Quantity. From the results of research and analysis, it is known that the safety stock of billet Q275 / 5SP raw materials is 1,046.68 tons and Re-order Points are 11758.04 tons. And from the three optimal lot sizing methods chosen, the Period Order Quantity method with the total cost of ordering raw materials per year is IDR 340,800.00 as much as four orders. Then inventory planning is carried out which results in a complete inventory cost of Rp 2,815,219,200 or resulting in cost efficiency of 17% compared to company policy which is Rp 3,407,764,327

Abstract

The use of technology and transportation to meet human needs that are increasingly complex turns out to cause various environmental problems. One of the problems caused is air pollution due to motor vehicle exhaust emissions. This study aims to determine the impact of air pollution on the health of employees guarding the substation of Slipi 2 toll road and Tanjung Duren Jakarta. Data were taken from respondents using the questionnaire survey method and the Impinger Air Sampler for measuring NO2 and SO2 levels. Sampling is by the number of employees of Slipi 2 toll booths and Tanjung Duren, as many as 32 people. Of the 32 respondents almost all experienced subjective complaints arising from NO2 and SO2 gas. Based on statistical tests using SPSS with Two Way ANOVA method that has been done shows that health complaints are affected by NO2, SO2, and work locations. Based on the results of the data processing interaction test using the SPSS program shows the interaction between the influence of NO2 or SO2 and the work location.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi resiko cedera rangka otot pada perawat di rumah sakit. Studi dilakukan pada RSUD Serang dengan 173 responden perawat, terdiri dari 37 laki-laki dan 136 perempuan. Kuesioner DMQ (Dutch Musculoskeletal Questionaire) digunakan untuk mengukur faktor-faktor dan gejala resiko cedera rangka otot. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa persentase responden mengalami keluhan fisik yang paling banyak diderita perawat adalah keluhan sakit leher (69%), punggung atas (59%), dan bahu (58%). Selanjutnya tingkat usaha untuk melakukan jenis pekerjaan ringan hingga sangat berat diukur dengan skala 1-4 dengan hasil sebagai berikut: mengangkat pasien (mean=2.57, SD=0.771), memindahkan pasien (mean=2.54, SD=0.688), mengangkat alat berat (mean=2.22 ,SD=0.909), membersihkan ruangan (mean=1.94, SD=0.595), berjalan kaki (mean=1.93, SD=0.606), duduk (mean=1.83, SD=0.489), memakaikan baju (mean=1.75, SD=0.081). Hasil pengukuran korelasi Spearman memperlihatkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan pada pekerjaan memandikan pasien (S=0.280, Sig.2-tailed=0.000 ) terhadap keluhan punggung atas (p<0.01) dan hasil yang sama pada memindahkan pasien (S=0.208, Sig.2-tailed=0.008 ) terhadap keluhan punggung atas (p<0.01). Sedangkan aktifitas terlalu banyak berjalan kaki (S=-0.167, Sig.2-tailed=0.034 ) signifikan terhadap keluhan leher (p<0.05).

Abstract

 Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk membuat pembangkit listrik yang berasal dari sampah organik di TPA Cilowong, Kota Serang Banten. TPA Cilowong merupakan tempat pembuangan pusat sampah yang berasal dari seluruh daerah yang ada di wilayah Kota Serang Banten. Setiap harinya TPA ini menerima 5 truk sampah pasar yang dibuang pada landfill dan belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal.  Padahal sampah ini dapat diolah menjadi biogas untuk penerangan listrik TPA dan bahan bakar kompor di dapur umum TPA. Instalasi biogas dibuat dengan satu digester (penampung biogas) berbentuk bulat yang bisa menampung sampah sebesar 6 m3. Untuk pertama kali pemakaian, dibutuhkan starter kotoran sapi yang dicampur dengan sampah organik pasar sebagai starter dengan perbandingan sampah : kotoran sapi = 5: 1. Kegiatan ini bekerja sama dengan 30 orang mahasiswa KKM dan pengurus TPA Cilowong. Biogas dari sampah ini bisa digunakan untuk penerangan listrik di TPA dan sebagai sumber gas di dapur umum TPA.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengangkutan galon air mineral di AQUA Home Service Cilegon masih dilakukan secara manual tanpa menggunakan alat bantu. Pada saat pekerja menangani galon-galon air, masih terdapat postur kerja yang berisiko. Hal ini menyebabkan beberapa pekerja mengalami keluhan Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs). Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengidentifikasi pre­va­lensi keluhan MSDs, mengetahui tingkat risiko postur kerja, dan mem­beri­kan usulan perbaikan yang berpotensi menurunkan risiko MSDs. Pengukuran tingkat risiko postur kerja menggunakan metode RULA dan REBA serta diolah dengan bantuan software ErgoFellow. Dari hasil kuesioner Nordic yang dibagikan pada total empat pekerja, diketahui bahwa keluhan pada punggung bawah dan bahu dirasakan oleh semua pekerja. Hasil penilaian risiko postur kerja pada proses pengangkatan dan membawa galon, menunjukkan perlunya perubahan pada postur kerja (skor RULA 7 (risiko tinggi); skor REBA 8 (risiko tinggi)). Perbaikan yang diusulkan yaitu alat bantu angkut galon berupa troli yang sesuai dengan ukuran antropometri sehingga nyaman digunakan, memperbaiki postur kerja, dan berpotensi menurunkan MSDs. Hasil simulasi menggunakan CATIA V5R21, menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan alat bantu angkut galon menurunkan level risiko RULA dari 7 ke 3 (risiko rendah). Rancangan alat bantu galon yang diusulkan diharapkan dapat diimplementasi­kan di lapangan dan membantu menurunkan risiko MSDs.

Abstract

PT X produces cold-rolled steel coils, followed by a series of testing processes such as cutting, adhesive testing, and X-ray fluorescence (XRF) testing. These testing processes require significant time and effort and must be performed promptly. Additionally, the results need to be delivered on time. In the coating department, there is only one worker. This leads to complaints about the heavy workload, which can impact both the physical and mental health of the worker. Therefore, a workload analysis is necessary to achieve a more optimal performance evaluation. The methods used include cardiovascular load (CVL) measurement and the NASA-TLX questionnaire. The research results show a CVL value of 31.93%. The NASA-TLX score reached 88.75%, indicating a very high workload category. Proposed improvements to reduce physical workload include redesigning the rear part of the cutting machine by adding a trolley. Additionally, solutions to reduce mental workload include hiring additional workers at specific times or redistributing job tasks in the coating area.
