Abstract

ABSTRACT Human resource is the spear from organizations. Without Human Resource, all of the organization resources can’t process and developed to get profit, and it is happened on government organization too. The government organization has Organizational Citizenship Behavior, who helped the employee included the contract workers on their social working scope. Some factors that needed to determine higher or lower the OCB’s level even contract or permanent workers it is loyalty, obesity and their participation to the organization who covered them. Loyalty, obesity and participation levels of contract workers on government sector is an interesting case to research. This research want to analyze and examine influence factors  to the OCB’s contract workers in government organization, with working satisfaction and Organization behavior as an independent variable and use Working Motivation as an intervening variable. Sample of this research is a contract workers who working at Diponegoro University, Semarang. Whereas,  analysis technique on this research using SEM. Based on the research results, that working satisfaction and organization behavior is positively influential to the contract workers working motivation, whereas working motivation factor with a significant too, that positively influential to the OCB’s contract working. Abstract

The interesting phenomenon is the standing of “teh Botol Sosro” as a top brand indexpersistently since 2010 - 2013 indicates that there is a very good marketing strategy onbrand. The simplicity and flexibility of “Teh Botol Sosro” are the major factor appliedby the company to remain in the top sale. Another factor is the naturalness of “Teh BotolSosro” which is always preferred and also inportant to attract the consumers. Thisresearch will analyze the new things that may affect the consumers’ favorite brand “TehBotol Sosro”. The variables of the research are self-image, product quality, andadvertising.This research uses accidental sampling method, which is anyone who happened to meetwith the researchers can be sampled if deemed suitable, the sample in this researchis 100people. Data collection is conducted using questionnaires.Population in this research isconsumers of “Teh Botol Sosro” in Semarang.The results of multiple regression is most influential independent variable on thedependent variable is the self- image variable(0,471),followed by quality productvariable (0,335) and the last is advertising variable. The result of t-test prove that all ofthe independent variables(self-image, quality products, and advertising)have a positiveinfluence on the dependent variable that is brand preferencesa bottled tea “Sosro” inSemarang. Based on the consumers’ opinion,the three independent variables consideredimportant when choosing a bottled tea product “sosro” in semarang. And the result ofadjusted R2 is0,503. It means that 50,3 % of quality products can be explained by thevariable self – image, product quality and advertising. While the remaining 49, 7% isinfluenced by other variables not examined in this research.Keywords: self image, quality of product, advertising, brand preference

Abstract

ABSTRACT The problem about job stress it seems becomes an interesting perspective together with the increase of the more and more complex challenge and competition. This research aims to evaluate the influence of the organizational and individual stressor to the job stress and also the effect to the job satisfaction and performance. To test the research hypothesis’ , 140  employees of PT. Adira Finance Bangkong Semarang Branch Office was asked to answer questionnaires about their perceptions of the organizational stressor, individual stressor, job stress, job satisfaction, and performance. The data acquired was analyzed using the Structural Equation Model (SEM). The result of this analysis, known that the Structural Equation Model has fulfilled the Goodness of Fix Index criteria: chi square = 162.200, probability = 0.522, RMSEA = 0.055, GFI = 0.950,  AGFI = 0.912, TLI  = 0.967, CFI  = 0.977. The  hypothesis testing shows that organizational stressor have an effect on the job stress, individual stressor have an effect on the job stress, the job stress have an effect on the job satisfaction, and the job stress have an effect on the performance. Based on the results, managerial implication suggest that the job satisfaction and performance can be improved by manage the job stress which is done by the company through stress management and by individual through counseling. Abstract

ABSTRAKSI Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk hubungan kausal berjenjang antara motivasi intrinsik, kejelasan peran, kepuasan kerja, komitmen organisasi dan keinginan untuk pindah dalam konteks PT. Bank Papua. Pada model yang dikembangkan, nampak bahwa komitmen organisasi ditempatkan sebagai variabel intervening yang menghubungkan antara kepuasan kerja dengan keinginan karyawan untuk pindah. PT. Bank Papua dipilih sebagai obyek penelitian karena kondisi terkininya, yaitu keluarnya beberapa karyawan potensial dan adanya deviasi antara target dan realisasi kinerja keuangan, telah memberikan ruang yang ideal bagi pengujian hubungan kausal antar variabel dalam penelitian ini. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 129 yang diperoleh dengan pendekatan purposive sampling.  Akan tetapi, kuesioner yang kembali dan layak untuk diolah hanya sebanyak 112 kuesioner. Teknik analisis yang dipergunakan untuk mengolah data yaitu Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) yang dijalankan dengan perangkat lunak Amos 4.01. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa motivasi intrinsik dan kejelasan peran mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja secara positif, kepuasan kerja mempengaruhi komitmen organisasi secara positif dan komitmmen organisasi mempengaruhi keinginan untuk pindah secara negatif (artinya makin tinggi komitmen organisasi karyawan, maka akan semakin rendah kemungkinan untuk pindah). Temuan empiris tersebut mengindikasikan bahwa para pimpinan PT. Bank Papua seyogyanya berusaha meningkatkan komitmen organisasi dalam rangka mengurangi keinginan karyawan potensial untuk pindah, dengan sebelumnya melakukan evaluasi tingkat kepuasan kerja yang dipengaruhi oleh motivasi intrinsik dan kejelasan peran. Implikasi teoritis dan saran-saran bagi penelitian mendatang juga diuraikan dalam penelitian ini. Kata kunci: hubungan kausal berjenjang; keinginan berpindah; studi kasus; SEM
