Abstract

Pertumbuhan pinggiran kota (urban sprawl) menjadi alternatif memecah kepadatan Kota Salatiga, pada era 20 tahunan yang lalu. Kenyataannya saat ini, keadaan ini menjadi permasalahan baru terutama terkait inefisiensi penggunaan lahan, terjadinya kemacetan akibat perencanaan sistem transportasi yang kurang terpadu, masalah kepadatan penduduk, serta terjadinya pengelompokan komunitas permukiman. Terkait dengan hal itu perlu penelitian tentang karakteristik dan tingkat/tipologi urban sprawl pada Kota Salatiga, khususnya Kecamatan Sidorejo yang merupakan kawasan urban sprawl pertama kali di Kota Salatiga, sehingga hasilnya bisa dijadikan sebagai bahan rujukan untuk arah kebijakan pembangunan Kota Salatiga selanjutnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis datanya menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif, analisis spatial dan analisis skoring. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 3 kelurahan yang teridentifikasi urban sprawl di Kecamatan Sidorejo Salatiga, yaitu Kelurahan Blotongan, Kelurahan Kauman Kidul dan Kelurahan Pulutan, dimana tingkat sprawl tertinggi terdapat pada Kelurahan Pulutan dan tingkat sprawl terendah terdapat pada kelurahan Blotongan.

Abstract

In the Central Java people's perception, the river is blackside and outcast area. Some disasters on the riverbank have expressed the velopment inconsidersation of the water potention. research is to find out the concept of the waterfront application on the riverbank development. Using correlation between the human behaviour and the the environment (Rapoport, 1977), the research is aimed to get support theories and the classifications aspects of waterfront. This research has 5 cases. Three (3) cases explain about Semarang as the coastal city, and two (2) cases explain about Semarang as the historical city that has river water transportauon. The research found that the waterfront in Semarang has 3 clasifications, First, by the fishermen in the fishermen settlement, the clasification of waterfront was not only the building on the river but also as the people activity related to the river. Second, by the non fisherman live in the riverbank settlement, the classification of waterfront was only related to the view of the river not its activity. Those people have used only the riverbank space. Third, by the inhabitans of the city in the kampung kola, the classification was not related to waterfront orientation. The riveronly seen as edges the district an administrative border. Finnaly, the public's argument that if the river is cleaner, the application of the waterfront concept can be fuller than before. The research recommend that it was very important to threat the river carefully, since it can give benefit for some aspec in the future.

Abstract

Indonesia has a humid tropical climate with many different topographies, which is makes it has a very striking temperature difference. Wonosobo is one of the regencies in Central Java which is located in a mountainous region with the air temperatures is between 14.3 - 26.5 degrees C. Kertek is one of the districts in the Wonosobo regencies which is located at an altitude of 700 m - 1,150 m above sea level, with the temperature during the day ranged from 26 deg.C - 29 deg.C and at the night 20 deg. C - 22 deg. C. Kabelukan is a village in the Kertek district area which is located on a mountain slope with hilly topography. The settlement environment is the result of vernacular architectural products with the uses of natural ventilation.Thermal comfort is a condition in which a human feels comfort in their environment which is achieved by conditions of air temperature, humidity, wind movement, use of clothing and activities. This factor will be examined by qualitative rationalist methods supported by quantitative data. Primary data is taken from temperature, humidity and wind measurements, analyzing the floor plans and also have an interview with the residents supported by secondary data.The result is for looking a ventilation system that has not been fully utilized that makes the humidity level is high and above of comfort zone level. This is happened because peoples who live there (residents) have adapted to their environment and get used to live with these environmental conditions. So they need to be directed and advised when they want to make or repair their house to paying attention on the ventilation placement in order to obtain the maximum level of thermal comfort.

Abstract

The Kapencar Village, as one of villages on the slope of Sumbing Mountain, hascosmological concept of spatial setting. The phenomenological research, was done by theresearcher as own instrument, explored for finding the spatial cosmological value in theKapencar villages. Some results of the research are:1) The Kapencar Village as the Glondongvilage, expresed the mon-copat concept, with the Kapencar village as the centre. 2) keblatwetan as a cosmological concept. Wetan orientation as a symbol of the start of living or thevery previous time of people living. Two cosmological concepts of spatial setting expresed theKapencar Village has the grand cosmologycal concept in people lining, there is keblat papatkalimo pancer (four orientations and the centre as the fifth oerintation).Kata kunci : Cosmology; the slope of the mountain settlement; spatial setting

Abstract

Polymer modified concrete has become innovative materials to increase durability and sustainability of concrete. It is now important to develop natural polymers that are ‘greener’ than other chemical polymers. Therefore, this research wants to investigate compressive strength of natural polymer modified concrete added with Moringa oleifera powder, with and without its skin. This research was conducted experimentally in laboratory. There three compositions concrete mixture of several concrete cylinder specimens with dimension 10 cm x 20 cm which were cured in plain water for 7, 14, and 28 days. Compressive strength of normal concrete were designed as about f’c = 30 MPa. All specimens were tested for compressive strength after curing. This research meets conclusions: (1) Natural polymer modified concrete added by Moringa oleifera with skin specimens have compressive strength 82.85% compared control specimens; (2) Extreme high compressive strength has achieved by natural polymer modified concrete added by Moringa oleifera without skin specimens that have compressive strength 165,2% compared control specimens; and (3) Natural polymer made of Moringa oleifera is proven to increase the compressive strength of concrete

Abstract

With the advancement of the digital revolution, the way knowledge is accessed has evolved from traditional media to more flexible and interactive digital platforms. Early websites, which were primarily static and one-directional, struggle to keep up with user expectations for dynamic and frequently updated content. This research explores the design and development of scukrsjawa3.com, an interactive educational website aimed at providing structured and engaging learning resources. Utilizing the Rapid Application Development (RAD) approach, the website was built using PHP, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML, with Bootstrap ensuring responsiveness and ease of navigation. Key features include a well-structured content system, chatbot integration, and an intuitive user interface, enhancing accessibility and engagement. This platform meets the growing demand for interactive, real-time, and user-centric learning experiences, serving as an effective tool for digital education.

Abstract

Rumah adalah tempat peyelenggara kehidupan dan penghidupan bagi setiap orang. Kebutuhan akan rumah sebagai tempat tinggal terus berkembang. Salah satu strategi pemerintah dalam upaya membantu masyarakat berpenghasilan rendah untuk memiliki rumah yang sehat dan layak huni adalah membentuk Perusahaan Umum Perumahan Nasional (Perum Perumnas). Dalam menempati rumah ataupun perumahan, masing-masing individu memiliki tuntutan maupun tujuan dalam memilih rumah tersebut. Terjadinya tuntutan terhadap tempat tinggal juga dipengaruhi oleh adanya beberapa fungsi rumah yang menjadi keharusan oleh penghuninya. Rumah memiliki peran yang sangat vital dalam kehidupan berkeluarga, sehingga rumah harus memiliki kelayakan untuk menopang segala aktifitas kehidupan sehari-hari secara normal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengkaji jenis perubahan pola tata ruang rumah hunian di Perumahan Puri Delta Asri 3 Semarang serta faktor-fator apa saja yang mempengaruhi pemilik rumah melakukan perubahan terhadap rumah hunian yang mereka miliki. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian studi literatur yang bersumber dari buku, majalah dan artikel serta internet. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perubahan-perubahan yang terjadi pada rumah hunian baik secara fisik maupun fungsional ruang terjadi secara merata, hal ini merupakan bentuk penyesuaian yang dilakukan pemilik rumah terhadap rumah yang dimilikinya. Bentuk penyesuaian yang dilakukan merupakan bentuk respon pemilik rumah sebagai upaya untuk memenuhi kebutuhan akan rumah sesuai dengan normanya. Jenis perubahan yang dilakukan pemilik rumah yang mereka miliki sebagaian besar adalah penambahan jumlah ruang. Mayoritas jenis ruang yang ditambahkan adalah Ruang Tidur. Faktor utama penambahan ruang adalah perkembangan kebutuhan ruang yang sangat terbatas pada rumah hunian yang dibangun oleh pengembang kemudian diikuti dengan penambahan anggota keluarga dan perubahan gaya hidup.
