Abstract

Abstract: The weakness of critical thinking ability effect to  deficient learning result. The ability of critical thinking is effected by discovery learning method with the moderator of student learning motivation variable. The aim of the research is to know the effect of discovery learning method to critical thinking ability with the moderator of student learning motivation variable. The method is caution experiment  by using factorial  design research 3x2. The subject of the research are students of SMK Negeri 1 Kadipaten, those are XI OTKP 4 class as experiment class and XI OTKP 3 as control class. After having precondition test using by normality test and homogeneity on pretest and posttest can be concluded such as : 1) There it is have deference of critical thinking ability between the class uses discovery learning method and the class using  Talk method, 2).There it is have difference of critical thinking ability  between student has high, medium, and low  learning motivation. 3) The learning method has interaction with the learning motivation in effecting student critical thinking ability.Kata kunci: Discovery Learning Method, Learning Motivation, Critical Thinking Ability

Abstract

AbstractBackground of this research is less motivation continue education to college on students class XII in SMK Negeri 3 Kuningan, Brebes, Central Java. it shows the data graduate students which are show that graduate in SMK Negeri 3 Kuningan only 17% to continue college. the aim this research is knows the effect between variable X1 (Condition of parent’s economic social) and vriable X2 (achievement   of students learning) on variable Y (motivation continue education to college)Method used in this research is survey method and type and type this research used is correlation research.  population in this research is student in class XII total 320 students with total of sample are 165 sample. collecting data technique used is questionnaire with likert scale 5 option. data analysis uses path analysis with help IBM SPSS stastistic 20 program.The base of collecting data are as follows: 1) there is a positive influence and significant condition of parent’s social economic to achievement of students learning. 2) there are a positive influence and significant  condition of parent’s social economic to college. 3) there are a positive influence and significant  achievment of students learning to continue college.Suggestion for students so not only rely on cost from their parents to buy study facility and cost school to support study achievement and improve  motivation to continue college . then, to next research because this research limited to condition variable of parent’s social economic and achievement students learning which influence a motivation to continue college. so, expected  to analyzing about motivation to continue college seen from others factor like are intellectual intelligence, interest to learn, etc. Key words: condition of parent’s social economic, achievement of students learning, and motivation to continue college

Abstract

Abstract: The subject of social studies is frequently regarded as a difficult one by social studies teachers. The particular problem encountered by the social education at the level of junior high school in Kuningan Regency is the lack of social studies teachers who have the academic background of social studies or social science education. Therefore, based on the survey conducted to junior high schools in Kuningan Regency, many teachers objected to the implementation of Curriculum 2013. This objection reflects the low competency of social studies teachers in the state junior high schools in Kuningan Regency. Based on this background, the problem under research is formulated into the question of how do academic qualification, education and training, principal leadership and work motivation influence competency according to the perceptions of social studies teachers in all state junior high schools in Kuningan Regency. The independent variables in this research are academic qualification (X1), education and training (X2), principal leadership (X3), and work motivation (X4), and the dependent variable is teacher competency (Y). The aim of research to get an idea of the perception of the subject teachers Knowledge of Social Studies (IPS) regarding efforts to improve teacher competence as a professional on the field. The research adopted survey method with data collected from questionnaires distributed to 275 respondents who are social studies teachers from 72 state junior high schools in Kuningan Regency. The findings analyzed with Structural Equation Model (SEM) show that for the first sub-structure, academic qualification, education and training, and principal leadership had positive influences on teachers’ work motivation. The second sub-structure shows that academic qualification, education and training, principal leadership, and work motivation had positive influences on teacher competency. The indirect influences of the variables of academic qualification, education and training, and principal leadership on the variable of work motivation were greater than the direct influences of academic qualification, education and training, and principal leadership on teacher competency.Keywords: Academic qualification, education and training, principal leadership, work        motivation, teacher competency.

Abstract

Abstract: In this study used to find out the results of the posttest in the class that uses the learning media ladder chart with classes that do not use the learning media unit ladder chart and to know the differences in student learning outcomes in classes that use ladder chart learning media with increased student learning outcomes in class who do not use the media learning charts and student learning assistance in the fourth grade of SDN 1 Winduhaji Mathematics. The method used in this study is nonequivalent control group design design. The subject of this study was to take two classes, namely class A consisting of 33 students as a control class and class B consisting of 34 students as an experimental class. The research instrument used multiple choice questions and learning motivation questionnaires. Than, an analysis of instrument and data analysis is carried out. Data analysis in the control class and experimental class using SPSS version 22. Analysis of the data in the experimental class and control class showed that the t test value was 0.000 0.05. The results showed that the learning media used to study and learn the learning outcomes of students who use learning media that cannot use the learning media ladder unit length chart. From these data it can be extended that the learning charts of the ladder chart are very long towards learning and student learning outcomes and can be used as an alternative learning media for teachers in increasing motivation and learning outcomes.Keywords: Learning Media Long Unit Ladder Chart, Learning Motivation and Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

AbstrakPermasalahan yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini adalah tingkat resiliensi mahasiswa yang cenderung masih rendah. Hal ini ditunjukan oleh perilaku mahasiswa yang tidak percaya dengan kemampuan diri sehingga memilih untuk mencontek saat mengerjakan tugas dan ujian. Selain itu ketidakpercayaan diri atas kemampuan yang dimiliki oleh mahasiswa juga terlihat saat aktifitas pembelajaran didalam kelas, aktivitas bertanya dan analisa sebagai aktivitas yang memberatkan, serta rendahnya daya juang siswa dalam menyelesaikan tugas-tugas yang diberikan oleh dosen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh Bagaimana pengaruh kecerdasan emosional dan kecerdasan spiritual terhadap tingat resiliensi mahasiswa FKIP UNIKU. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei dengan analisis deskriptif dan verifikatif dengan populasi yaitu seluruh mahasiswa FKIP UNIKU tingkat I angkatan 2021/2022 sebanyak 305 orang mahasiswa yang berasal dari Prodi Pendidikan Ekonomi, Pendidikan Biologi, Pendidikan Matematika, Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris dan Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia. Sedangkan sampel yang diperoleh berdasarkan rumus slovin, diperoleh ukuran sampel sebanyak 173 orang mahasiswa. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan kuesioner yang mengukur skala sikap, perilaku dan kognitif dengan 5 (lima) alternatif jawaban. Adapun Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah dengan menggunakan path analysis (analisis jalur). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh hasil Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pengujian diketahui bahwa kecerdasan emosional dan kecerdasan spiritual berpengaruh terhadap tingkat resiliensi mahasiswa. Hal ini berarti bahwa semakin baik kecerdasan emosional dan spiritual yang dimiliki oleh mahasiswa maka tingkat resiliensi yang dimiliki mahasiswa juga akan semakin baik. Kata kunci: kecerdasan emosional; kecerdasan spiritual; resiliensi AbstractThe problem behind this research is the level of resilience of students who tend to be still low. This is shown by the behavior of students who do not believe in their own abilities so they choose to cheat when doing assignments and exams. In addition, the lack of self-confidence in the abilities possessed by students is also seen during learning activities in the classroom, questioning and analyzing activities as burdensome activities, and the low fighting power of students in completing tasks given by lecturers. This study aims to determine how the influence of emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence on the resilience. The method used in this research is a survey method with descriptive and verification analysis with the population, namely all FKIP UNIKU level I students in the 2021/2022 batch of 305 students from the Economics Education, Biology Education, Mathematics Education, English Education and Indonesian Language Education Study Programs. Meanwhile, the sample obtained based on the Slovin formula, obtained a sample size of 173 students. The sampling technique used is Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. The instrument used in this study is to use a questionnaire that measures attitude, behavior and cognitive scales with 5 alternative. The data analysis technique used is to use path analysis. Based on the results of the research, it is known that emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence affect the level of student resilience. Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to describe teacher competence, student motivation, student learning styles and student learning outcomes, the effect of teacher competence on student learning outcomes, the effect of student learning motivation on student learning outcomes, the influence of student learning styles on student learning outcomes, moderation student learning styles on the influence of teacher competence on student learning outcomes, moderation of student learning styles on the effect of student motivation on student learning outcomes. This research was conducted because the average odd semester final exam scores for economics subjects can be said to be still low, also considering the importance of student learning outcomes obtained because they are closely related to learning achievement, therefore teachers feel the need to master teacher competence, know student learning styles and arousing student motivation. The research method used is survey method. The research was conducted on students of SMP Negeri 4 Kuningan Regency using a questionnaire instrument. Data analysis will use multiple regression with the help of SPSS 24. The findings of this study: 1) the description of learning outcomes, teacher competence, learning motivation and learning styles are in the high category. 2) teacher competence has a significant effect on student learning outcomes. 3) learning motivation has a significant effect on student learning outcomes. 4) learning styles have a significant effect on student learning outcomes. 5) learning style significantly moderates the influence of teacher competence on student learning outcomes. 6) learning style moderates the influence of learning motivation on student learning outcomes significantly.Keywords: Teacher competence; learning motivation; learning styles;learning outcomes. AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran kompetensi guru, motivasi belajar siswa, gaya belajar siswa dan hasil belajar siswa, pengaruh kompetensi guru terhadap hasil belajar siswa, pengaruh motivasi belajar siswa terhadap hasil belajar siswa, pengaruh gaya belajar siswa terhadap hasil belajar siswa, moderasi gaya belajar siswa pada pengaruh kompetensi guru terhadap hasil belajar siswa, moderasi gaya belajar siswa pada pengaruh motivasi belajar siswa terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena melihat rata-rata nilai ujian akhir semester ganjil untuk mata pelajaran ekonomi dapat dikatakan masih rendah, juga mengingat pentingnya hasil belajar siswayang didapatkan karena erat kaitannyya dengan prestasi belajar, karena itu guru dirasa perlu menguasai kompetensi guru, mengetahui gaya belajar siswa dan membangkitkan motivasi belajar siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode survey. Penelitian dilakukan pada siswa SMP Negeri 4 Kabupaten Kuningan dengan menggunakan instrumen angket. Analisis data akan menggunakan regresi multifle dengan bantuan SPSS 24. Temuan penelitian ini:1) gambaran hasil belajar, kompetensi guru, motivasi belajar dan gaya belajar berada pada kategori tinggi. 2) kompetensi guru berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa.3) motivasi belajar berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa. 4) gaya belajar berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa. 5) gaya belajar memoderasi pengaruh kompetensi guru terhadap hasil belajar siswa secara signifikan. 6) gaya belajar memoderasi pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar siswa secara signifikan. Kata kunci: Kompetensi guru; motivasi belajar; gaya belajar; hasil belajar.
