Abstract

Penelitian ini difokuskan untuk meninjau karakteristik Dangdut Koplo secara tekstual. Riset yang dilakukan menggunakan metode fenomenologi dengan melakukan studi lapangan ke sejumlah wilayah pertunjukan Dangdut Koplo di wilayah Jawa Tengah dan Jawa Timur. Perkembangan dangdut secara historis, dipaparkan melalui sejumlah riset dalam menelusuri karakteristik dangdut yang pada akhirnya berbeda dengan Dangdut Koplo. Sejumlah fakta hasil riset dan studi lapangan menghasilkan sejumlah unsur yang membangun karakteristik Dangdut Koplo berupa, (1) pola permainan khusus pada gendang, (2) kecenderungan tempo cepat, (3) pertunjukan dengan unsur erotisme, (4) Pencampuran aransemen berbagai genre, dan (5) trend variasi berupa jem-jeman yang diikuti senggakan. Pada akhirnya Dangdut Koplo merupakan produk perkembangan dari dangdut sebagai manifestasi dari kreativitas para praktisinya yang menkolaborasikan dangdut dengan pengaruh estetika lokal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini difokuskan untuk melihat proses terkonstruksinya dimensi interkultural pada pola permainan gendang terhadap pelaku dan para pecinta Dangdut Koplo. Pendekatan yang digunakan mengadopsi dari Ilmu Sosial yakni teori konstruksi sosial Peter L. Berger yang terdiri dari eksternalisasi, objektivasi, dan internalisasi. Penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan metode fenomenologi dengan melakukan studi lapangan ke sejumlah wilayah pertunjukan Dangdut Koplo di Solo Raya terutama Taman Hiburan Rakyat (THR) Sriwedari dengan objek kelompok musik Areva sebagai bahan studi kasus. Proses konstruksi sosial masyarakat Dangdut Koplo dideskripsikan melalui analisis pada transkrip pola-pola gendang dan dampak musikalnya. Tahap eksternalisasi melibatkan konsep dan kreativitas Areva dalam menghasilkan serta mengembangkan dimensi interkultural pada pola permainan gendang. Kreativitas dalam bentuk pola-pola gendang bermuatan proses interkultural dihadirkan dengan melibatkan interaksi intersubjek sehingga menghasilkan produk interaktif berupa senggakan dan gerak-gerak komunitas joged pada proses objektivasi. Media pentas dan konser menjadi proses sosialisasi yang membuat masyarakat dari satu kolektif ke kolektif lain, melihat Areva Musik sebagai manifestasi dari Dangdut Koplo, pada tahap internalisasi. ABSTRACTThis research focused on the construction process of the intercultural dimension of the drums pattern among Dangdut Koplo’s society. The approach used to adopt from the social sciences, that was social construction theory from Peter l. Berger consist of externalization, internalization, and objectivation. Research conducted using the method of Phenomenology by doing fieldwork to several areas performing Live of Dangdut Koplo in Solo and surroundings especially on Taman Hiburan Rakyat (THR) Sriwedari with Areva Music group as a case study. The process of the social construction of society Dangdut Koplo described through analysis on transcripts of drum patterns and the impact of its. Externalization stage involves the concept of creativity from Areva Music in generating and developing intercultural dimension on the drum pattern of the gendang’s player. Creativity in the form of many drum patterns featured an intercultural process involving the subject to subject interaction to produce interactive products in the form of senggakan and some motion from joged’s community on the process of objectivation. The medium of performances and concerts into a process of socialization that make communities from one another, the collective to collective see that Areva Music group as a manifestation of Dangdut Koplo, at the process of internalization.

Abstract

Abstract: The following research explained how dongkari is a concept by artists, singers or “penembang”, and practitioners of Tembang Sunda Cianjuran. This research also used phenomenology as an approach, fieldwork activity, and depth interview with “penembang” who exist around Bandung, West Java. Through this paper, the author described dongkari as a musical language interpreted by knowledge and empirical practices in the context of the social living of penembang. Eventually, dongkari, as the aesthetic based construction, was interpreted as a complex concept, containing Sundanese world life context, as a based material style of vocal, then should be operating to indicate the virtuosity of penembang.   Abstrak: Penelitian ini difokuskan untuk melihat bagaimana pemahaman konsep dongkari dalam perspektif seniman Tembang Sunda Cianjuran. Penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan metode fenomenologi dengan melakukan studi lapangan ke sejumlah praktisi Tembang Sunda Cianjuran di wilayah Bandung, Jawa Barat. Penulis mencoba melakukan pemaparan pengetahuan dan pemaknaan praktisi terhadap dongkari dalam konteks kehidupan masyarakat Tembang Sunda Cianjuran. Pada akhirnya dongkari dipahami sebagai konsep yang cukup kompleks, memuat konteks kehidupan masyarakat Sunda, sebagai material konstruksi estetik vokal, sebagai pembentuk gaya personal, hingga sebagai indikator virtuositas para praktisi Tembang Sunda.

Abstract

The activity of creating musical works based on Community Service activities with the  title  “Exploration  of  Harmonious  Composition  Techniques  and  Interlocking Vocal Techniques in Metal Musical Works of the Djiwoastra Group” seeks to express musical works that show the marriage between Nusantara aesthetics and Western aesthetics through working on choir vocal compositions. The agreement to collaborate in composing music with an emphasis on the Gregorian choir composite strategy that explores Nusantara vocal forms such as Senggakan and Gerongan (Javanese), as well as the Balinese Kecak vocal interlocking technique is a problem solving point in overcoming the problem of diversity in metal music production techniques required by Djiwoastra music group as partners. The Participation Action Research method is prioritized in this activity. This activity is a vehicle for realizing mutual understanding between the team implementing the activity and the metal music group Djiwoastra, in order to strengthen each other’s potential for the challenges of musical works based on the internalization of diverse experiences. Community service activities that aim to solve problems in balancing the aesthetics of music between West and East have been achieved to some extent by strengthening the trans-medium composite technique of Javanese vocal forms such as Senggakan, Gerongan, and Balinese Kecak which are packaged in a gregorian choral style, which can become a new techniques mastered by partners to develop subsequent works

Abstract

The following research aims to explain about how Dongkari as aesthetic concept, constructing ornamentation in Tembang Sunda Cianjuran. This research employs phenomenology approach also filedwork activity and depth interview with singer or “penembang” who exist around Bandung, West Java. This studydescribes the Dongkari as element of ornamentation which is used by penembang to create ornamentation in performing Tembang Sunda Cianjuran songs. As a result, Dongkari as the basic construction of ornamentation, should be operated by penembang based on virtuocity and interpretation of each penembang.

Abstract

 Today, the world of education has used a lot of singing methods in studying material,  one of which is Madrasah Diniyah Roudlatut Tholibin at Jraganan Village.  The singing method carried out, specifically in Arabic subjects in grades one and two, was translated into Javanese.  This song is allegedly related to the Auditory, intellectually, and Repetition (AIR) learning model.  To prove this, this research uses qualitative research methods through observation, interviews, and literature study.  This search aims to reveal the signal of the link between the learning methods at the madrasah and the Auditory, Intellectually, and Repetition (AIR) learning model.  In addition, this study also aims to reveal the shortcomings in the singing method in the madrasah.  From the existing searches, it was found that the learning steps in the madrasah reflected the Auditory, Intellectually, and Repetition (AIR) learning model.  In addition, it is revealed that the students understand better when the meaning of Arabic is transmitted into Indonesian.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena munculnya komunitas joget Temon Holic di dalam masyarakat dangdut koplo. Kreativitas Temon Holic dalam mengubah musikal dangdut koplo menjadi gerak joget menjadi aspek utama dari penelitian ini. Selain itu, penulis juga mencoba melihat bagaimana karakteristik komunitas Temon Holic sehingga menciptakan sebuah identitas dan seperti apa dampak yang ditimbulkan oleh komunitas tersebut dalam masyarakat dangdut koplo. Penelitian etnografi dilakukan untuk mendapatkan data baik secara langsung maupun virtual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Temon Holic memproduksi gerak-gerak atraktif, unik, dan menarik melalui stimulasi pola-polaisian oleh praktisi dangdut koplo. Temon Holic merupakan kelompok yang menjadi media regenerasi dan pembelajaran para penikmat dangdut untuk selalu dalam koridor damai dan nyaman pada setiap kegiatan dangdut. Oleh karena itu, aktivitas Temon Holic dapat menghilangkan pandangan negatif yang melekat pada penonton dangdut. Fenomena tren joget ala komunitas Temon Holic menjadi salahsatu bukti bahwa kreativitas tidak hanya dapat dilakukan oleh musisi atau performer, tetapi penikmat ataupun penonton juga memiliki kesempatan untuk berkreasi dan berkontribusi dalam meramaikan khazanah pertunjukan musik dangdut koplo.

Abstract

Karawitan performing arts is one of the branches of art in Indonesia. The performing arts, which are based on music, still exist are carried out by art activists or karawitan artists. Karawitan is also one of the performing arts that has the potential to develop to the global scene. On the other hand, technology is growing rapidly, forcing everyone to continue to innovate in order to keep up with the world's technological currents. Gameland is one of the innovations sparked for the development of karawitan shows. Although it is still a design, it will be very possible to implement it in the future. The research conducted for Gameland design used descriptive quality methods. By using virtual metaverse technology, this design is expected to be able to be a medium for developing karawitan performances, improving the economy of artists, and promoting culture. Through Gameland's digital technology, artists can play and perform karawitan performances anywhere, anytime, and with anyone without being limited by space and time. Gameland exists as an effort to adapt to the progress of the era so that karawitan artists can continue to exist and develop with seamless connectivity relationships through the virtual world, the metaverse.

THE INFLUENCE OF LOCAL MUSICAL IDIOM ESTABLISHING INTERKULTURAL SECTION IN THE STYLE PATTERN OF GENDANG DANGDUT KOPLOAbstractPenelitian ini difokuskan untuk melihat bagaimana pengaruh musik lokal terhadap perkembangan permainan gendang dangdut koplo. Penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan metode fenomenologi dengan melakukan studi lapangan ke sejumlah praktisi gendang dangdut koplo di wilayah Solo Raya serta penelusuran data melalui virtual field work. Penulis mencoba melakukan analisis musikal pada pola permainan gendang dan menelusuri sumber pola permainan gendang pada idiom musikal sejumlah kesenian lokal dari beberapa wilayah budaya yang tersebar di Pulau Jawa. Pola permainan gendang dangdut koplo pada akhirnya terbentuk melalui pengaruh sejumlah idiom musikal kesenian lokal yang diolah melalui kreativitas praktisi dangdut koplo sehingga menghasilkan produk musikal yang membentuk ruang antar budaya.AbstractThe following research focused to explain about the influence of local music for developing of drum pattern of dangdut koplo. Abstract

This research examines the Koes Plus music performance and the commodification of nostalgic moments by the Pelita Hati group to explain how the Pelita Hati group utilizes a memory or nostalgic moment of Koes Plus song lovers to become a commodity as a process of transforming use value into exchange value. The researcher explains three problem formulations presented in this scientific thesis, namely: (1) What is the general picture of the pop music industry during the Koes Plus era? (2) What is the performance process carried out by Pelita Hati? (3) What is the process of commodification of nostalgic moments that occurs in the Pelita Hati group? In order to explore and understand the phenomenon of music in the context of performances of nostalgic moments through the song Koes Plus, this research uses Vincent Mosco's theory of audience commodification. This research uses a qualitative method described descriptively, in collecting data using the results of observation, interviews, documentation, literature study.The results of this research are that there is a commodification process that occurs in the band Pelita Hati which takes advantage of a memory or nostalgic moment of Koes Plus song fans to gain profit. Apart from that, the Pelita Hati group also brought back songs from Koes Plus with their creativity. From these two things, Pelita Hati tries to reproduce industrial products that it tries to resell. In this case, it can be interpreted that the profits are not only obtained by the Pelita Hati group itself, but also by listeners and audiences who love Koes Plus music. Keywords: Commodification, Nostalgia, Koes Plus
