The objective of this study was to identify the physical conditions (abiotic) of tarsier habitat focused on the altitude, air temperature, air humidity and slope. These data were collected by conducting surveys and observation of the purposive sampling plot that was located in tarsier habitat in Lore LIndu National Park area around the village of Sungku. Physical conditions of the tarsier habitat were descriptively analyzed from identification, observation, measurement and actual conditions in the field. The result would be then compared with the other tarsier habitats at LLNP in village of Kamarora, Palolo sub-district. The altitude discovered tarsier habitat at the village Sungku is at 702-861- m a.s.l. the air temperatures range 20,33°C-24,66°C and humidity in the morning, and afternoon and evening were 85,3%, 71% and 75,3% is respectively. The slope of tarsier habitat varied from steep up to very steep (25%-40%). Where as in Kamarora village, tarsier habitat was at an altitude of 694 m a.s.l., whit a slope of 10%, air temperature (20,77°C-27,1°C) and humidity (72,3%-82%). Abstract

Background: The scientific-based jamu development program enables the development of medicinal plants in the traditional medicine system that eventual-ly can be used in the formal healthcare system. Baturraden and Sumbang are considered as areas with abundant plant biodiversity in Java, where the local community has used those plants for medicinal purposes. Objective: This study is conducted to qualitative and quantitatively record and conserve the knowledge of the Baturraden and Sumbang community on the utilization of plants for treating diabetes mellitus.Method: The data of the plant’s local names, plant organs, methods of prepara-tion, and routes of administration of the herbal preparations used for treating diabetes mellitus were collected through semi-structured interviews with 97 informants. The species use-value (SUV), the relative frequency of citation (RFC), and fidelity level (FL) of each species were calculated accordingly to determine their relative importance and value to the local community.Result: There were 11 plant species from 10 families mentioned. The most commonly used plant organ, preparation method, and administration route were leaves, decoction, and oral, respectively. The most important and valuable plants were including Piper ornatum (SUV = 0.19, RFC = 0.13, FL = 23.09%) and An-drographis paniculata (SUV = 0.09, RFC = 0.07, FL = 42.86%).Conclusion: As the most critical antidiabetic plant in the studied area, the decoction or infusion of Piper ornatum leaves is taken orally 1-2 times a day. However, there are no reports on its anti-diabetic-related activities available to date. In contrast, the uses of Andrographis paniculata as the antidiabetic agent has been widely proven. Baturraden and Sumbang people orally consumed the decoction of this plant’s leaves once a day for the said purpose

Abstract

Abstract

An ethnopharmacological study is an initial step for the development of jamu, which has been simultaneously conducted throughout Indonesia. This study aimed to explore the utilization of medicinal plants in Baturraden, a region with relatively rich plant biodiversity in Java. Our research is a quantitative ethnobotanical study reporting the utilization of medicinal plants as a single plant botanical preparation in the studied area. The data were collected through semi-structured interviews with 36 informants on the local names, indications, parts used, method of preparation, and application of the plants. The species use-value (SUV), relative frequency citation (RFC), and the fidelity level (FL) of each species were calculated accordingly. The study recorded the utilization of 47 species of medicinal plants, which were employed to treat 32 ailments. Leaves, decoctions, and oral were recorded as the most commonly used plant part, herbal preparation, and application. There were 24 botanical preparations with the FL value of 100%, which were indicated for the treatment of fourteen diseases/symptoms. Curcuma longa, Zingiber officinale, Piper betle, Cymbopogon citratus, Andrographis paniculata, Syzygium polyanthum, Citrus aurantiaca, and Zingiber montanum were considered as the most important and valuable plants by the local community. Hence, those plants should be evaluated further for their pharmacological activity and developed into standardized botanical preparations.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the dynamics and balance of financing of Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia during the period 2015-2023 with a focus on changes in monetary policy, real effective exchange rate, price level, profitability, and capital adequacy. The research method uses a quantitative approach with analysis techniques using the error-correction model (ECM) approach. The results showed that monetary policy, real effective exchange rate, profitability, and capital adequacy ratio have a significant influence on the financing of Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia in the long run. In contrast, the price level does not show a significant influence on financing in the long run. These results explain that macroeconomic factors and banking performance are crucial in determining the balance of financing in the Islamic banking sector in Indonesia. The findings suggest that changes in monetary policy, which often reflect overall economic conditions, can affect financing decisions in Islamic banks. In addition, fluctuating real exchange rates can affect the price competitiveness and financial position of banks. Profitability, as an indicator of financial health, and the capital adequacy ratio, as an indicator of a bank's ability to bear risk, were also found to have a significant influence, suggesting that the internal performance of Islamic banks is decisive in the financing provided.
