Abstract

Football athletes need a heart-lung endurance which describes the capacity to perform activities continuously for long periods without experience significant fatigue. Fulfillment of nutrients, especially vitamin was important to meet the physical needs for activities in their daily lives. One effort to get a good freshness  good nutritional status and adequacy of the proper nutrients. Lack of vitamin C can lead to lower body resistance weakened muscle contraction and fatigue. Symptoms of vitamin C deficiency is characterized by deterioration of physical appearance. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of vitamin C intake with physical fitness in football athletes in Sports Training and Education Center of CentralJava. Population of this study is all football athletes as many as 35 people. All of they were investigated. The data of vitamin C intake was measured by the method of weighing and 2 days food recall Physical fitness was measured by the method of the Asian Committee on the Standardization of Pysicial Fitness Test (ACSPFT). The Kolmogorov –Smirnov test was used to test the normally distribution of the data and the Pearson or Rank Spearman corelation test was used to analysis the correlation between the vitamin C intake and physical fitness level score. The results showed that the average of vitamin C intake is 83.84 mg. All of  football athletes consume the sufficient levels of vitamin C (100% and up of RDA. The average of football athelete’s physical fitness level score is 446.6 65.7% (excellent). The Kolmogorov-Smirnov test showed that yhe data of vitamin C intake and physical fitness score no normally distribution. By using the Rank-Spearman correlation test,  there is no correlation between the vitamin C intake and the physical fitness level of the  PLPP football athletes. In Central Java Sports Training and Education Center Student the football athlete’s  Vitamin C consumption level is normal and the  physical fitness categories is excellent. There is no correlation. between the vitamin C intake  and the physical fitness level of the  PLPP football athletes.

Abstract

Depression is a mental disorder caused by severe disappointments such as death, divorce, concerns, bankruptcy, death of a loved one is very marked symptoms of sadness, despair , loss of joy , fatigue and tiredness, lack of appetite , weight loss. In a state of depression decreased appetite, which could interfere with the absorption of nutrients into the body, especially the intake of energy and protein. Total case of depression is estimated over 150 million people. Based on a report in 2012 at the Regional Mental Hospital Dr. Amino Gondohutomo contained 5.86 % of 3821 inpatients suffering from depression . The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship of depression with levels of energy and proteinintake depressed patients hospitalized in the Regional Mental Hospital Dr. AminoGondohutomo Semarang   This type of research is explanatory research, the research that explains the relationship between two or more variables studied . The method used was a cross-sectional , where the variables studied in the same time. Population of the study is that depressed patients hospitalized on 20 April to 20 June 2013 in the Regional Mental Hospital Dr. Amino Gondohutomo criteria Semarang aged 16 years and older. Samples were taken in non probabilitysampling technique with Consecutive Sampling. The results showed as many as 50% of depressed patients have both energy intake and 56.7 % of  depressed patients have good protein intake. Data analysis using chisqure test result thatthe p - value (0.713 and 0.785)> 0:05 so that Ho is accepted it means there is no relationship between the level of depression with the energy and protein intake. This research should be developed further by adding other variables such as nutritional status or the duration of treatment. Keywords: Depression levels, energy intake, protein intake.

Abstract

The quality of the food is served judging the quality of the consumer to be aware of the color, texture, aroma, flavor, and sanitation on the equipment used. In children with autism need to be considered in the therapeutic quality food using free gluten and free casein. The purpose of this study was to determine the picture quality of food in people with autis in the orphanage Al-Rifdah Semarang. Type of study used descriptive and cross-sectional methods. Population and samples taken in this study is a food that is served in Al-Rifdah Orphanage Semarang for 4 days. Primary data include type of foods that contain gluten and casein, heavy foods containing gluten and casein. Secondary data include a general description of the profile Orphanage Al-Rifdah Semarang. Data collected edited and processed and analyzed with descriptive analysis using nutrisurvey program. From the research that has been done of children with autism who live in the orphanage Al-Rifdah Semarang by 11 children aged 5 to 19 years. With male gender as much as 9 children and female sex as much as 2 children. Orphanage in Al-Rifdah Semarang still serving food sources of gluten in any menu. With an average of 715.24 in the one-day gr ingredients are gluten-containing foods, and the average in a day are 19.98 grams of foods that contain casein.

Abstract

Rimpang temulawak mengandung senyawa fitokimia yang bersifat sebagai antioksidan seperti totalfenol, namun senyawa tersebut memiliki kelemahan yaitu mudah mengalami reaksi oksidasi akibatpengaruh suhu, pH, dan intensitas cahaya, selain itu temulawak memiliki rasa pahit serta aroma yangkhas. Proses enkapsulasi menggunakan penyalut kitosan-STPP diharapakan mampu memperbaikisifat dan stabilitas zat aktif dari ekstrak temulawak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahuipengaruh nanoenkapsulasi pada ekstrak temulawak dengan berbagai variasi penyalut terhadap kadartotal fenol.Penentuan kadar total fenol menggunakan metode Spektrofotometri UV-Vis denganlarutan standar asam galat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah true experimental dengan desainpenelitian yang dipilih yaitu Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Hasil penelitian kadar total fenoltertinggi yaitu 261,9 mg GAE/gram sampel dengan konsentrasi penyalut kitosan 0,1% : STPP0,05%.Berdasarkan analisis ragam (ANOVA) perbedaan konsentrasi penyalut berpengaruh terhadapkadar total fenol (p<0,05).Hal ini menunjukan bahwa semakin tinggi konsentrasi kitosan dan STPPmaka kandungan total fenolnya semakin rendah.
