Abstract

The purpose of this research was to measure the effect of hard skills and soft skills towards teachers’ innovation capability in Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi (Jabodetabek) which was mediated by an organizational learning and to measure the effect of teachers’ innovation capability towards their performance. Data collection was done by simple random sampling via electronic to the teacher population in Jabodetabek. The returned and valid questionnaire results were 676 samples. Data processing was used SEM method with SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of this research concluded that hard skills and soft skills have a positive and significant effect on the capability of teachers’ innovation, both directly and indirectly through mediation of the organizational learning. As well as the capability of teachers’ innovation has a positive and significant effect on their performance. This new research proposed a model for building innovation capability and teachers’ performance among teachers in Jabodetabek through enhancing hard skills and soft skills with the organizational learning as a mediator. This research can pave the way to improve teachers’ readiness in facing the education era 4.0.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the effect of transformational leadership, organizational learning and organizational structure on the teacher innovation capacity. Data collection was carried out by simple random sampling via electronic on the population of private school teachers in Indonesia. The returned and valid questionnaire results were 645 respondents in the sample. Data processing using SEM method with SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of this study are transformational leadership, organizational learning and organizational structure have a positive and significant effect on innovation capacity. Transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on organizational learning and organizational structure. This novel research is proposing a model of building the teacher innovation capacity through transformational leadership in the perspective of learning organizations and organizational structure. This research can pave the way to improve the readiness of the teachers in Indonesia, especially the teachers of private schools to face the industrial revolution 4.0.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to measure the effect of a transformational leadership and on employees’ performance in an Indonesian manufacturer through motivation and work environment as a mediating variables. Data were collected by using simple random sampling to 851 employees population in an Indonesia manufacturer. The number of returned and valid questionnaires was 627. Data were processed by using SEM with SmartPLS 3.0. The results of the study concluded that transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on employees’ performance, both directly and indirectly through a mediating effect of motivation and work environment. This study proposes a model to improve employees’ performance in Indonesia manufacturers by a transformational leadership through motivation and work environment as a mediator. This study can open the way to improve employee readiness in facing industrial revolution 4.0.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of trust-in leaders within employees in the manufacturing industry in Indonesia towards employee innovation and checks on the impact of mediation from knowledge sharing to this relationship. 121 employees in the manufacturing industry participate in this research. The result of research claimed that trust-in leader has a positive and significant effect on knowledge sharing and employee innovation. Likewise, knowledge sharing has a positive and significant effect on employee innovation. Therefore, the result of the research showed that knowledge sharing has a partial mediation impact on the relationship between trust-in leader and employee innovation.

Abstract

The development of Micro, Small, and Medium enterprises from year to year is influenced by the use of Information Technology and Information Systems. E-commerce is a technology that supports the development of Micro, Small, and Medium enterprises today. DM Khasanashop is a boutique company that sells a wide variety of clothes and pants from the lowest prices to the highest prices. Based on the results of the analysis carried out at DM Khasanashop Tangerang, the researcher can conclude that the problem that occurs in the sales system at DM Khasanashop is that sales have not been web-based or e-commerce and the data management system has not been computerized because the data processing process is still conventional and promotional media, still use brochures, banners, and business cards. The research objective was to determine the sales system using conceptual analysis and to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors in Khasanashop DM. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques were carried out utilizing observation, interviews, and literature study. The results of this research show that management can be seen in several processes, namely making details of product prices, managing order data, employees packing products to sending products to consumers.
