Abstract

Islamic moderation is positioned as mainstream in NW online media. This mainstreaming needs to be developed into a more comprehensive study to carry out a constructive role in all its components. One important component is the media content. In the aspect of content, especially Islamic moderating da'wah content can at least be developed through the formulation of the principles of developing on-line media that are extracted from the principle of moderation and the use of an appropriate approach in integrating moderation propaganda content. Netizens are far more effective when using social media such as the Nahdlatul Wathan website that is read and seen by thousands and even through millions of readers and users. The most progressive finding from this study is the massive awareness of netizens, especially millennial students, to recognize the content of da'wah that is soothing and inspiring. Thus, the perception of netizens of students about social media does not always neglect themselves as santri but can increase their capacity building to continue to be creative and to make achievements through media literacy.

Abstract

This study’s finding is religious polarization confirming the Identity of Lombok Islamic Societies emerging since before Indonesia’s independence by taking the religious movement form. Mainstream religious movement in Lombok is Sunni one and not all of them are under organizational flag, but generally based on educational institution. Minority non-sunni movement brought an effect and wahabi movement pattern emphasizing on “the differentiation” of religious practice, so that it is not ideological wrestling but identity contestation that occurs. Then, religiosity identity of Lombok Islamic societies is material-symbolic and accommodative in nature. The accommodative religious practice occurs in tasawwuf practices and encounters acculturation as the identity of Lombok Muslim. Islamic religious Identity in Lombok Sunni has been existing long before the development of religious organization and educational institution, so that the Sasak Islamic Identity encountered acculturation as the result of natural constructi on of Lombok Islamic societies. Organizational diversity, movement, and identity solidification can be a wealth as long as it is not debated in the public space

Abstract

The paper examines the scientific integration through the lens of TGKH. Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid. This study aims to explore the scientific integration model of TGKH Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid in the Nahdlatul Wathan educational institution. The study was conducted at the Shaykh Zainuddin Islamic Boarding School, the management center for the Nahdlatul Wathan organization. This study is a qualitative-descriptive study. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation techniques, while data were analyzed using a sociological-historical approach. The analytical procedure used is the analysis procedure of Miles and Huberman. In this study, the scientific integration model proposed by TGKH Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid (Mawlana Shaykh) consists of three main components: 1) the integration of scientific knowledge with Islamic science and the Nahdlatul Wathan (Ke-NW-an) curriculum; 2) the institutional integration between Ma'had Darul Qur'an wal Hadith and higher education; 3) the integration of Islamic religious subjects with scientific disciplines. The findings of this study provide a foundation for policymakers to formulate more extensive and unified education strategies. This emphasises the significance of keeping an equilibrium between religious and scientific knowledge within the curriculum.
