Abstract

Banjaran Sengkuni is a play that tells the story of the life of a wayang character named Sengkuni, from his birth to tragic death. Through the play the puppeteer believes that the real character of a figure is formed not only from birth but also since the process of fetal occurrence through sexual intercourseof the parents. Besides the process in the womb, the character is also formed by the environment that surrounds its life: the environment of the family, the surrounding community, and the universe.The character of Sengkuni in Banjaran Sengkuni was largely determined by the process of development of the baby or fetus in the womb, namely through the results of adultery or adultery which is culturally considered negative, even sin. He inherited his father’s character, Gandarwa named Setibar. The characters which could be observed include: baby Sengkuni was born with a handsome face but fanged, just like his father having fangs. Abstract

The death of Dursasana in Baratayuda from time to time got a response (reception) of community supporters. Reader responses poured in various forms, such as a copy into different languages, in different forms of literature, and the performing arts. Responses occurred perhaps because literary life always offers value relefan with his time. This study is the preparation of the historical development of the story Dushasana death, either in the form of literature written and oral literature. In accordance with its objectives, this study is receptive to both approaches and methods. The final goal of this research focuses on the transformation of the death of Dursasana in the war of Baratayuda.Keywords: literature, relevant, response, various forms.

Abstract

Pamuksa was a play told us that heaven and hell were a mere options. Heaven was togetherness withthe God, the divine source of happiness, while hell was the opposite. Pandhu and Tremboko hadpicked the fruit of their choices. Pandhu went to hell not because of his fault and sin but rather by hisown choice. Pandhu’s choice to prefer worldly life was a reckless attitude that did not reflect sarirahangrasa wani. Due to the devotions of his sons: Bratasena and Arjuna, and with support by theangels, Pandhu was saved. This study discussed the moral aspect, therefore a moral approach wasused. The result of this study were the moral messages that first, if humans wanted to be happy thenthe heavenly value was the first and foremost priority. Second, that children’s devotions to the parentswas able to save the parents from disgrace which in Javanese tradition was referred as mikul dhuwur,mendhem jero.Keywords: heaven and hell, option, children’s devotion, save.

Abstract

The dice game episode in the Mahabarata epic, in the Javanese wayang tradition, is known as lakon Pandhawa Dhadhu. It is called that because the tool used is called ‘dhadhu’. This episode tells the story of gambling between the Pandhawa and the Kurawa which had an impact on the erosion of human dignity at the lowest level. This happens because as the betting items are not only worldly possessions, but also human gamblers. It is said that in this game the Pandhawa always lost so that their wealth ran out. Because of his uncontrolled lust, Puntadewa placed his four brothers and himself at stake, as did Draupadi. The game ends when the Pandhawa have nothing to bet on. As a result of their defeat, they had to accept the consequences of becoming Kurawa slaves. The peak of tension occurred when Dushasana dragged Draupadi by grabbing her hair and pulling the cloth covering her private parts to strip her naked. In this episode, the treatment occurred beyond the limits of human values, which resulted in the abuse of human dignity. This article was written in order to provide a reaction to an extraordinary story that touches the deepest human values, namely the value of humans as a noble creation. Its glory should be maintained, cared for and developed so that it becomes more dignified, but what happens is just the opposite. Appreciation of this dice game episode is carried out based on moral values and cultural values that have been upheld since the beginning, namely the value of humans as noble creatures because they are equipped with reason, thoughts, conscience and feelings. The steps taken to produce a good article are to pay close attention to the development of the conflict plot which of course gives rise to tensions experienced by the story actors which ultimately have an impact on the reader or audience.

Abstract

The issue of tumbal has been known by nations since the ancient times. The types and forms can be in the form of property, animals, or humans of high value. Tumbal is needed in order to achieve a great desire such as building a building, reservoir, bridge, wealth, getting a partner, or achieving a certain position. In the Nusantara tradition, tumbal is often considered synonymous with the word korban (victim), which is interpreted negatively. It is in contrast to tumbal which is considered positive. The word korban is identical to korban persembahan, also with tumbal tawur. The Baratayuda War was a major war that would determine the survival of the Kurawa and Pandawa. To face this major war, both sides prepared themselves both from militaristic as well as spiritual perspectives. From a spiritual perspective, both prepared tumbal tawur which was offered to the supernatural power, the ruler of the universe who would give victory. This article compares the tumbal tawur that would be carried out by the Kurawa and Pandawa. This is important because it is possible that the quality of the tumbal tawur will determine their victory. The strategy used is to compare how to get the tumbal tawur, how to perform tumbal tawur ceremony or korban, the organizer of the korban, and the directed recipient of the korban.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepelatihan monomime terhadap perkembangan neuroplastisitas pada remaja yang tergabung dalam himpunan teater di Sragen. Neuroplastisitas, yaitu kemampuan otak untuk berubah dan beradaptasi melalui latihan fisik dan mental, memainkan peran penting dalam pengembangan keterampilan gerak dan kognisi. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen pada 20 remaja yang aktif dalam kepelatihan monomime selama 3 bulan, hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan motorik, kognisi, serta koordinasi gerak. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan monomime tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai seni pertunjukan, tetapi juga memiliki potensi besar untuk mempengaruhi perkembangan otak pada masa rem aja. Implikasi penelitian ini bermanfaat bagi pendidikan dan pengembangan remaja dalam bidang seni serta kesehatan fisik dan mental.
