Abstract

This research is a pre-experimental research which aims to determine whether there is or not the use of napier rods has a significant effect o the students' ability in understanding the multiplication concept. The research design used was one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were all of the 3th Grade Studentat SD Negeri 21 Panyula with the sample of 29 students selected using a saturated sampling technique. The data collection technique used was a test to determine the ability of understanding in the multiplication concept before and after using the napier rod prop. The data analysis techniques used were a descriptive and inferential statistical analysis techniques. Based on the results of descriptive statistical analysis, the average students' ability in understanding the multiplication concept before and after using Napier rod props was of 57.14 and 83.34, respectively. Based on the results of inferential statistical analysis using the paired samples t test, tcount = 13.701 and ttable = 1.701. Because tcount > ttable, so there was a significant difference in students' understanding of the multiplication concept before and after using Napier rod props in the 3th Grade at SD Negeri 21 Panyula. Conclusion: the use of napier rod props had a significant effect on the ability in understanding the multiplication concept of the 3th Grade at SD Negeri 21 Panyula, Tanete Riattang District, Bone Regency

Abstract

Low student understanding of citation management and bibliography formatting is a common obstacle in academic writing. Many students still compile references manually without following standardized styles such as APA Style, which can reduce academic quality and increase the risk of plagiarism. In response to this issue, this community service activity aims to improve students’ skills in managing citations and references digitally through training on the use of reference manager applications such as Mendeley and Zotero. The training was conducted face-to-face on February 22, 2025, at PGSD UNM Bone Campus and was attended by 85 students. The training method included material presentations, hands-on practice, and evaluation. The results showed that most participants experienced increased understanding and ability in inserting citations and generating bibliographies automatically. This training has proven to positively impact the development of more systematic and academically sound student writing. It is expected that similar activities will be implemented regularly to foster a strong academic culture.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian korelasional simetris dan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya hubungan yang signifikan antara self regulated learning dengan keaktifan siswa kelas tinggi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas tinggi SD Inpres 12/79 Walenreng 1 dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu sampel jenuh. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 60 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial. Berdasarkan hasil analisis statistik deskriptif self regulated learning memperoleh rata-rata 58,37 dengan kategori sedang sedangkan keaktifan siswa memperoleh rata-rata sebesar 58,42 dengan kategori sedang. Berdasarkan hasil statistik inferensial menunjukkan r hitung ≥ r tabel l ( 0,424 ≥ 0,254 ) pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Dengan demikian H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara self regulated learning dengan keaktifan siswa kelas tinggi SD Inpres 12/79 Walenreng 1 Kecamatan Cina Kabupaten Bone yang tergolong sedang pada kategori 0,40 – 0,599.
