Abstract

Zakat is an obligation for Muslims who have more wealth. The results of the study in 2011 by BAZNAS and FEM IPB found the fact that the potential for zakat in Indonesia reached 217 trillion, while from that potential could only collect 1.729 trillion. This study used the planned behaviour theory from Ajzein and Fizbein which states attitudes, subjective norms, and behavioral control have a relationship with the intention. The study formulation looked at the determinants of IAIN Surakarta employees’ intentions in paying zakat. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method using a questionnaire instrument. The population in this study were 445 employes of IAIN Surakarta. The samples of the study were 159 employes who were alreday civil servants. The data analysis techniques were quantitative descriptive and inferential descriptive. The result of the study explained that there was a relationship between attitudes, subjective norm, and behavioural control with the intention of IAIN Surakarta employees in paying zakat. Behaviour control has the highest relationship with intention. The behaviour in paying zakat carried out by IAIN Surakarta employees cannot be separated from the role of institution that use internal policies to encourage their employees to carry out zakat obligations. The existence of the Zakat Management Unit (UPZ) facilitates the collection and management of zakat from IAIN Surakarta employees themselves. The influence of co-workers also increases the understanding of religion, especially the obligation of zakat for employees who have civil servant status, because their income has reached nisab (limit) to pay zakat.

Abstract

Artikel ini merupakan deskripsi tentang perkembangan dan penerapan prinsip syariah di sektor pariwisata syariah khususnya di sektor perhotelan. Kajian ini menggunakan kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Penelitian ini mengambil lokasi pada Hotel Lor In Syariah Solo. Hasil kajian ditemukan bahwa, Lor In Syariah Hotel memiliki visi dan tujuan yang menyatukan prinsip bisnis dan syariah. Kesatuan antara keduanya diwujudkan dalam fasilitas dan pelayanannya, selain yang terbaik dan profesional, kesan islami terlihat pada kinerja hotel. Layanan hotel syar'i meliputi; fasilitas fisik, restoran dan minuman, sumber daya manusia, acara dan suasana hotel. Dengan sistem manajemen syariah, Lor In Syariah Hotel telah berpartisipasi dalam pengembangan wisata syariah di kota Solo.

Abstract

Pandemic Covid-19 that hit Indonesia, providing great influence in various sectors. One of them in the tourism sector, which have an impact on the occupancy rate of the hotel. People who do travel has decreased so that the impact on hotel occupancy that come down. This is happening at Syariah Hotel Solo. To face these conditions, the necessary strategy in the development related to hotel occupancy at Syariah Hotel Solo. The researcher is compelled to research more about the business strategy in the field of hospitality that is done by Syariah Hotel Surakarta in the middle of the pandemic Covid-19. This research uses qualitative method with descriptive approach. Carried out in Syariah Hotel Surakarta in the period of September 2020 until June 2021. Data collection using observation techniques, interviews and documentation. Data analysis using the method of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions and verification to be able to provide the results of an overview of this research. The process of this research through the stages of monitoring the research object, take the formulation of the problem, analyze with the approach of the theory in providing an explanation of the phenomenon of study and the latter is to draw conclusions in general.Syariah Hotel Surakarta has now become one of the hotels based on sharia, which has been applying the new normal tourism at the time of the pandemic Covid-19. Syariah Hotel Surakarta have made every effort in developing business strategies with more direct to the aspects of the creative and innovative aspect by forming new configuration. Strategy in the marketing which is done by the Syariah Hotel Surakarta in the pandemic Covid-19 is the marketing through the medium of the newspaper, the internet, local television channels, radio and social media. The main strategy Syariah Hotel Surakarta with the implementation schedule Staycation. A Staycation is a travel deals by doing activities that are carried out in Syariah Hotel Solo. Activities this emphasizes the utilization of all facilities and infrastructure that exist in Syariah Hotel Solo. So guests can keep doing both at once carry out the policy of the government not to do a lot of outdoor activity.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of Solvency and Liquidity on the profitability of property companies listed on the Indonesian Islamic stock index for the 2018-2020 period. This research is quantitative research with secondary data from financial reports from 2018 to 2021. Regression model analysis using Common Effect Model (CE) or Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method. The findings show that DAR has a negative effect on ROA, which explains that debt will burden the company and reduce the profit level of Islamic property companies. On the other hand, DAR has no effect on ROE because debt does not affect the value of equity owned by the company itself. DER has no effect on ROA and ROE, this is certainly contrary to the Pecking Order Theory. Current Ratio has a negative effect on ROA, this is not in accordance with Pecking Order Theory. Cash ratio has a positive effect on ROA and also on ROE, and is in accordance with Pecking Order Theory. The cash ratio as the company's ability to pay short term has a positive influence, because the company is not limited to being responsible for the environment around the company but also socially responsible to the community. Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh Solvabilitas dan Likuiditas terhadap profitabilitas perusahaan properti yang terdaftar di indeks saham syariah Indonesia periode 2018-2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan data sekunder dari laporan keuangan tahun 2018 sampai dengan tahun 2021. Analisis model regresi menggunakan metode Common Effect Model (CE) atau Ordinary Least Square (OLS). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa DAR berpengaruh negatif terhadap ROA,  yang menjelaskan bahwa utang akan membebani perusahaan dan mengurangi tingkat keuntungan perusahaan properti syariah. Di sisi lain, DAR tidak berpengaruh terhadap ROE karena hutang tidak mempengaruhi nilai ekuitas yang dimiliki oleh perusahaan itu sendiri. DER tidak berpengaruh terhadap ROA dan ROE, hal ini tentunya bertentangan dengan Pecking Order Theory. Besarnya ekuitas utang secara khusus tidak berdampak pada tingkat keuntungan perusahaan properti. Current Ratio berpengaruh negatif terhadap ROA, hal ini tidak sesuai dengan Stakeholder Theory. Kondisi ini menyebabkan Current Ratio berpengaruh negatif terhadap ROE. Cash ratio berpengaruh positif terhadap ROA, dimana Cash Ratio berpengaruh positif terhadap ROE, dan sesuai dengan Stakeholder Theory. Rasio kas sebagai kemampuan perusahaan untuk membayar jangka pendek memiliki pengaruh positif, karena perusahaan tidak sebatas bertanggung jawab terhadap lingkungan sekitar perusahaan tetapi juga bertanggung jawab secara sosial kepada masyarakat.

Abstract

The more retail businesses in Yogyakarta, the higher the level of competition to attract consumers. This is also felt by Pamella Supermarket, which is one of the retail businesses in Yogyakarta. This research was conducted to find out how Pamella Supermarket's strategy in building brand loyalty. The retail industry is the most competitive industry, this research can help retail companies to develop more effective strategies in winning the competition. The CSR program conducted by Pamella uses the concept of triple bottom line (people, planet, profit). The existence of CSR activities can be considered by the public as a form of concern from the company so that it will increase public trust and increase brand loyalty. This research uses descriptive qualitative method with data collection using interview, observation, and documentation techniques. Data validity techniques using triangulation. The data analysis technique goes through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that Pamella has a CSR program named Pamella Peduli and has 6 activities that are the focus of its implementation, namely educational assistance, infrastructure, environment, health, humanitarian donations, and community donations. The implementation also involves employees and stakeholders. CSR activities are one of the considerations of consumers, the more companies contribute to social activities, the more loyal customers are to a brand.

Abstract

Maraknya budaya Korean Wave yang masuk di negara Indonesia khususnya industri musik K-Pop berhasil mendorong masyarakat untuk membuat sebuah komunitas penggemar yang berkaitan dengan idolanya. Solo menjadi wadah pada penggemar boygroup Seventeen yaitu Carat untuk berinteraksi antar anggota Komunitas fandom Carat Solo. Dengan adanya komunikasi yang terjadi di komunitas fandom Carat Solo dapat mempengaruhi responsivitas dan keaktifan pada anggotanya serta untuk mengetahui pola komunikasi kelompok yang terjadi didalamnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendiskripsikan pola komunikasi kelompok pada penggemar K-Pop yang terjadi didalam fandom Carat Solo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Analisis data akan diarahkan pada komunikasi kelompok yang terjadi didalam komunitas fandom Carat Solo. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu dengan cara observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi beberapa sumber sekunder yang relevan dengan anggota komunitas fandom Carat Solo sebagai subjek penelitian, serta pola komunikasi kelompok sebagai objek penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukan pola komunikasi yang terjalin antar anggota berupa vebal dan non verbal. Interaktivitas yang terjalin didalam komunitas fandom Carat Solo menunjukan pola komunikasi bintang. Meskipun admin base sebagai pemimpin, akan tetapi anggota komunitas fandom Carat Solo dapat bernteraksi secara langsung dengan semua anggota lainya dan memegang penuh keputusan yang terjadi. Komunikasi yang terjadi pada komunitas fandom Carat Solo cenderung pasif dikarenakan masih terdapat banyak anggota yang kurang aktif dan sedikit memberikan responsivitas didalamnya.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi dan media sosial menjadi sarana untuk bisa menjalankan bisnis online semakin mudah. Di Indonesia sendiri, menurut data dari Badan Pusat Statitsik (BPS) menyebutkan ada sekitar 2,8 juta pengusaha bisnis online pada tahun 2021, sedangkan pada tahun 2020 berjumlah 2,3 juta pengusaha bisnis online. Hal yang paling menunjang dalam bisnis online adalah gambar dan video produk yang diperjualbelikan. Melalui gambar dan video akan menjelaskan informasi dari produk yang diperjualbelikan dalam bisnis online. Kegiatan pengabdian akan memberikan pelatihan fotografi dan videografi untuk bisnis online secara profesional bagi masyarakat dan pelaku UMKM yang ada di Desa Jatisobo Kecamatan Polokarto Kabupaten Sukoharjo. Desa ini sebagai desa percontohan dalam bidang inklusif, dan desa ramah disabilitas. Melalui metode participatory research action (PAR). Pertama, pemaparan materi dari narasumber mengenai pengetahuan dasar soal fotografi dan videografi. Kedua, mengenalkan aplikasi yang bisa digunakan untuk editing gambar dan video agar bisa memaksimalkan hasil gambar dan video. Ketiga melalui praktik dalam proses pengambilan gambar dan video dengan mengoptimalkan alat yang dimiliki, seperti HP dan kamera.

Abstract

Medjora Cafe carries an environmentally friendly concept. This is based on environmental problems regarding waste in Kemuning Village, Karanganyar Regency. Medjora Cafe implements policies to campaign for public relations in handling environmental problems, especially waste among the culinary industry in Karanganyar Regency. Data collection by interview, observation and various documentation at Medjora Cafe. Medjora Cafe in implementing campaign communication about environmental problems, by reducing plastic straws replaced with stainless steel straws, tissue replaced with cloth and the use of used goods to be used as ornaments and decorations in the cafe. The use of Instagram as a campaign media as well as to build a brand image, this application is considered to be widely used by the public and customers so that the objectives in the campaign to build a brand image as an eco friendly cafe can be accepted by the wider community. The main campaign message from Medjora Cafe is to inform ideas about the environment, namely greenhouses and eco friendly. Contributions in public relations campaigns regarding environmental issues in addition to providing knowledge to the public and education in order to protect the surrounding environment. The preparation of a public relations campaign carried out by Medjora Cafe is also to introduce the 3R concept, namely Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. Apart from being a campaign to protect the environment, the 3R concept is proof of Medjora Cafe being an eco-friendly cafe as its brand image.
