Abstract

This research goals for understand figure and meaning the get in interior novel 5 cm by Donny Dhirgantoro. The method use interior research this is method qualitative. The approachment do interior in research is approachment semiotic. The Product obtained interior this research is figure and  the meaning do this interior novel 5 cm by Donny Dhirgantoro the category to interior three species sign. Firts, icon, five meaning five people the already be friend since long, alway do together, and not  possess friend other. Four man meaning four people man the ride carriage not buy the ticket. Second, index that is one purpose meaning togetherness, caused by  already be friend since long. Third, symbol, is three minutes meaning agreement reached the in made by for sahabat (except Ian) if perforce say that ugliness or vice other people. 5 cm meaning people five friend the not never give up for the ideals of. Symbol, that is three minutes, one same other, direction at nine o’clock, direction at six o’clock, two worl, six the point of small, a thousand face, 5 centimeter, a thousand times, the kind third, and there’s one.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the author's world view in Dewi Lestari Perahu Kertas novel. This research is based on qualitative research with genetic structuralism approach. Data analysis techniques, namely the analysis of facts of humanity, collective subject analysis, analysis of the author's novel view of Perahu Kertas, make the conclusion. The results of this study are (1) socio-cultural conditions of society contained in the Perahu Kertas novel that is the social relations of the figure with the community environment; (2) the socio-cultural life of the society contained in the Perahu Kertas novel, namely the views on work, social status, and the difference between the wishes of the parents and the wishes of a child; (3) the author's world view in this research is about young scholars who must face the reality of life between seeking work for the sake of existence and maintaining dreams for idealism. The conclusion of this study refers to the author's world view contained in Perahu Kertas novel by analyzing the facts of humanity and collective subjects on the study of genetic structuralism.

Abstract

Tradisi lisan nandai adalah jenis seni vokal tradisional yang dibawakan oleh tukang nandai dan dipertunjukan pada malam hari.  Nandai merupakan salah satu sastra lisan Serawai, Bengkulu yang sudah ditinggalkan masyarakatnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan struktur teks Nandai Radin Kuning (NRK). Metode penelitian dilakukan secara metode kualitatif dengan penelitian lapangan yakni wawancara, rekaman, dan mentraskripsikan data pertunjukan NRK.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa struktur teks pertunjukan NRK dibagi dalam pembukaan, pertunjukan, istirahat, dan penutup. Komposisi teks tidak baku dan dapat berkembang sesuai dengan konteks dan keinginan tukang nandai. Secara garis besar teks NRK menceritakan dua orang bersaudara yang gagah perkasa dan berani. Oleh karena itu, suatu peristiwa keduanya berpisah dan setelah dewasa mereka bertemu dan terjadi perang saudara. Kerangka teks NRK terdiri dari pembuka, isi, transisi, dan penutup. Struktur teks NRK sesuai dengan kerangka teks NRK yakni frasa pembuka, awal satu kisah, akhir satu kisah, penekanan cerita, situasi, dan penutup cerita. Frasa-frasa dalam teks tersebut merupakan stock in trade yang ada dalam pikiran tukang nandai. Tradisi lisan nandai perlu untuk dilestarikan kembali karena dengan merevitalisasi tradisi ini dapat menumbuhkan sikap saling menghargai dan menumpuhkan kepedulian sesama warga masyarakat.
