Abstract

Banjarese houses are developed especially in the wooden foundation’s construction. In case, this construction had many problems as an unstable foundation that caused building slope, building renovation, vertical development, etc. Pole stick hardwood timbers are needed to strengthen to support the building’s load. Based on this condition, it is necessary to conduct research related to find a model that explained how wooden foundations are modified. This paper's method was to collect field observation data by a photograph. Samples of observation were chosen that show the modification and variation progress of pole stick hardwood and woodpile foundation. Applied modification models were founded, that it were combined the wooden foundations with concrete foundations. It is useful to strengthen the building’s load support. This model was suited to the wetland area.

Abstract

The development of animation is growing rapidly every year, the use of animation which currently covers all fields, ranging from the world of entertainment to the world of business. The purpose of designing this Animation Gallery is to further introduce animation to the public. Animation Gallery will be designed using analogy methods and themed Hi-Tech Architecture. Animation is analogous to an architectural design by borrowing the principle of movement in the animation itself, namely how the stages of an object moving in an animation. Generally, movement in animation works with 2 elements, namely keyframe and in-between. If in architecture the keyframe is compared as a space and in-between as a circulation.

Abstract

The design of the Fashion Industry Batik and Sasirangan Tabalong Center was motivated by the government's desire to introduce more typical fabrics from Tabalong Regency. This desire makes the potential to develop a Fashion Industry Center that focuses on batik makers and visitors. The purpose of this design is to get a design that makes batik can increase creativity and innovation in making Batik and Sasirangan fabric motifs and fashion products and visitors can experience. By applying the Cultural to Creativity concept combined with 4P creativity concepts and using Architectural Programming methods. The application of cultural concepts is in the shape and exterior finishing of buildings, the application of the concept of creativity is applied to circulation, mass management, and interior.

Abstract

Futsal is the most popular sport in Hulu Sungai Tengah district, futsal its very loved sport in that region, although futsal is the most popular sport in Hulu Sungai Tengah District, in the provide of futsal facilities is inadequate. Hulu Sungai Tengah District Futsal Training Center is the area that will be the place of region futsal player to improve the quality of themselves or the team, a place that will be support development system for the region futsal player to improve their quality, to support that’s will be approach the Green Building concept on the design of Hulu Sungai Tengah District Futsal Training Center. With the Green Building approach, quality of the building users can improve so that the training performance of region futsal players increases. And the region futsal player can improve their quality, both in terms of physical, technical, and mental of region futsal players in the Hulu Sungai Tengah District Futsal Training Center.

Abstract

Resorts in general, are tourism objects that utilize the natural potential that is sensitive to the environment, which is an architectural product that is environmentally friendly and sustainable with the surrounding environment. One of the tourist areas in South Kalimantan that has exotic natural potential is Kotabaru Regency. The beach and the mountains are the tourism places of Kotabaru Regency which are the main icons. The resort is one of the developing tourism in Indonesia, especially in areas with beautiful mountains and beaches. From this phenomenon, an idea emerged to present a resort that could exploit the natural potential in the mountainous area of ​​Kotabaru Regency to create a resort that can meet the needs of tourists, Contextual concept is used.

Abstract

Technological advances have now mastered several aspects, namely in the world of education, fashion, lifestyle and the world of architecture. For example libraries, in the past, libraries were seen from the number of books collected and also how big the library building was but for now all that has changed, libraries are now required to be able to follow the wishes of its users. In this case the users are the millennial generation who have characteristics that are close to technology, like convenience and are free-spirited. According to a survey from the Boston Consulting Group and the University of Berkley about the millennial generation, the conventional reading interest of millennials has decreased and they prefer to use smartphones to read and libraries are considered unimportant to them. The design of the Banjarbaru Millennial Library uses the Behavioral Architecture method and the Blurring Architecture concept. This design aims to create a library in accordance with the characteristics of millennials who like freedom by implementing this freedom into its buildings

Abstract

The ongoing Covid-19 pandemic has changed many things, working from home has also changed employees' point of views on safety in the workplace should they have to return to work from the office, similar to the Grid Network company which is a subsidiary of Kompas Gramedia for publications that produce and distribute the news, entertainment and lifestyle. Because the output from this media is digital and print, work from the office is still very necessary and cannot be completely replaced by an online system. This is realized by using spatial perception method with Biophillic concept, which is a form of sustainable building design that has great potential to contribute to human health and well-being, especially in the midst of a pandemic. This method not only contributes to the aesthetics and functionality of the space, but also helps in the process of creating a workspace that minimizes employees' exposure to the risk of Covid-19 transmission.

Abstract

The design of this fitness center is motivated by everyone's need for a balanced state of mind, body and soul. Through these needs, people are starting to realize that they need to come back and start a holistic lifestyle. The purpose of this design is to provide a place that facilitates wellness-based activities in one place by paying attention to the interaction between space and nature. By utilizing the connection between humans and nature, the wellness center is planned to use the concept of biophilic architecture because it is synonymous with good natural use patterns and the use of design methods by utilizing 5 natural elements as the design method.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Improving health and body fitness during the COVID-19 pandemic has become a concern for many people to survive. Starting at the end of 2019, the COVID-19 pandemic hit the whole world, including Indonesia. Many prevention methods have been carried out to avoid exposure to this virus, such as using masks, keeping a distance from other people, maintaining cleanliness, and doing activities at home. However, now the pandemic period has passed and has been replaced by a post-pandemic policy, namely the new normal so that we can return to doing activities outside the home, especially recreation. Health and wellness tourism is a resort object based on education, recreation, exercise and sports for the purpose of improving health and body fitness. The background is post-pandemic and applies the concept of public health to avoid exposure to COVID-19. As well as with a sustainable architecture design strategy through environmentally friendly designs.

Abstract

The Indonesian Red Cross, which is often known by the abbreviation PMI, is a national association organization located in Indonesia and engaged in the humanitarian field. The activity that was first carried out by PMI was to help victims of the Indonesian Revolutionary War of Independence and return victims of Allied and Japanese prisoners of war so that the Indonesian Red Cross has gained international recognition. The purpose of the design this time is "How to design the Muara Teweh Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) building which is able to fulfill the activities of the volunteers and their working staff by providing assistance and blood services to the people in the city of Muara Teweh which are appropriate and make rooms with adequate facilities ?”.
