Methods: The type of research used is quantitative with the use of descriptive survey methods. The sampling technique used was total sampling. The sample in this study were 85 respondents. Collecting data using a questionnaire. Bivariate analysis uses the Kendall's tau test . The results showed that the median value of the respondent's age was 42 years, most of the respondents were female with a total of 51 respondents (60%). Abstract

Preschool children have weak immunity, which causes children to get sick easily and receive hospital treatment which causes anxiety due to hospitalization. Anxiety results in fear of new environments, frequent crying, being spoiled, aggressive, depression and even causing trauma. Playing at preschool age is an important activity, playing by matching pictures can influence a person's feelings by stimulating the nervous system in the brain to regulate emotions. This research uses a descriptive case study. The research subjects were three people, the data collection instrument was carried out using the FIS (Faces Image Scale) scale observation sheet. After being given play therapy, the results were obtained on the first day at F before being given the intervention, the anxiety scale was 4, after being given the intervention, the anxiety scale was 4, A anxiety before 5 and after 4, S anxiety before 4 and after 4. On the second day, F anxiety before 4 and after 3, A anxiety before 4 and after 3, S anxiety before 4 and after 3. The third day F anxiety before 3 and after 2, A anxiety before 3 and after 2, S anxiety before 3 and after 2. After intervention for 3 consecutive days, it can be concluded that providing picture-matching play therapy to preschool children can reduce hospitalization anxiety. Parents should continue to meet children's play needs by inviting children to play and facilitating games according to what the child likes, and nurses are expected to focus on modifying children's play.

Abstract

Excessive mucus or secretions in the lungs are a common symptom of bronchopneumonia in children. The buildup of thick phlegm will be difficult to expel and can block the child's respiratory tract. One way to relieve a blocked nose and thin phlegm is by mixing eucalyptus oil and hot water. The ability of eucalyptus oil to break down mucus is caused by cineole. The nursing student's final goal is to present a research synopsis on the use of hot steam therapy along with eucalyptus oil to clear the airways of ineffective bronchopneumonia in children. Using a case study design with three (3) respondents and a mixture of hot water steam and eucalyptus oil, this research uses case study techniques and a nursing process approach. Children aged between three and four years can benefit greatly from a treatment that involves inhaling eucalyptus oil vapors for ten to fifteen minutes to clear the respiratory tract and reduce the viscosity of mucus. The results of implementing the intervention showed that the average results for respondents were 1,2,3 pre-intervention, SpO2 98%, RR: 31x/m, rhonchi(-) R1:30, R2:30, R3:32. post intervention results showed SpO2: 99% and HR: 24x/m, R1:24, R2:25, R3:24. The combined intervention of hot water steam with eucalyptus oil is effective in reducing respiratory frequency in children with bronchopneumonia.
