Abstract

The increasing use of renewable energy sources as a substitute for fossil energy certainly focuses on the importance of energy storage aspects, especially Latent Heat Thermal Energy Storage. Among a number of Phase Change Materials that can be used in the system, Sugar Alcohol with a high latent heat content and a low to medium temperature range, namely below 140 °C, is suitable for application in Thermal Energy Storage technology, especially Solar Water Heaters. This study tested the thermal performance of Xylitol and Erythritol type Sugar Alcohol, both pure and mixed with composite materials. The use of High-Density Polyethylene as much as 10% and 15% by weight is used as a stabilizer material during the liquid-solid phase change transition. The testing method used in this study uses the Hybrid Energy-Temperature Method, where the sample is heated from ambient temperature to reach a temperature of 150 °C and then cooled to reach ambient temperature again, in the charging/discharging cycle process, to analyze the State of Charge and Depth of Discharging of the tested sample. This study also uses the Differential Scanning Calorimetry method and the Heat Capacity-isostep method to determine the phase change behavior of the sample and calculate the total energy content of the selected sample.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of Debt to Equity Ratio and Return on Equity on Earning Per Share at PT. Agung Podomoro Land Tbk for the 2013-2022 period, both partially and simultaneously. The research method used in this research is quantitative research. The data analysis used in this research is the classical assumption test, multiple linear regression test, correlation coefficient analysis, coefficient of determination analysis, t test and F test. The results of this research are that the Debt to Equity Ratio and Return on Equity have a significant effect on Earning Per Share with the regression equation Y = 7873.440 + 0.003X1 + 0.003X2. The correlation coefficient value is 0.921, meaning it has a very strong relationship. The coefficient of determination value is 84.4% while the remaining 15.6% is influenced by other factors. Hypothesis testing obtained a value of Fcount > Ftable (19.550 > 4.459) that the variables Debt to Equity Ratio (X1) and Return on Equity (X2) have a significant effect on Earning Per Share (Y) at PT. Agung Podomoro Land Tbk for the 2013-2022 period. Based on the determination test, it can be concluded that the Debt to Equity Ratio and Return on Equity have an effect of 84.4% on Earning Per Share. Meanwhile, the remaining 15.6% was influenced by other variables not examined in this research.

Abstract

This study examines the design of participatory learning based on the local wisdom of Bone Traditional Market to improve student engagement in Market and Economic Activities material for Class X students at SMA Negeri 14 Bone. Initial observation of 31 Class X students revealed low engagement in economic learning, despite average scores ranging from 76 to 80. The conventional learning approach that still dominates economic learning has caused low student engagement, both behaviorally, emotionally, cognitively, and agentically. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method through a literature review approach by analyzing 11 relevant journals, supplemented by field observation data. The results show that the participatory learning design consists of five main phases: initial orientation, participatory exploration planning, direct observation at the Bone Traditional Market, data analysis and synthesis, and critical presentation and reflection. The implementation of this design is expected to increase student engagement significantly, from conventional learning which only reaches 45% to 78% based on empirical evidence from local context-based learning research. The Bone Traditional Market, with its richness of socio-economic-cultural context and Bugis-Bone local wisdom, provides a living and dynamic learning laboratory for students in understanding market concepts and economic activities in a contextual, meaningful, and relevant manner. The sustainability of this learning design requires collaboration between teachers, schools, and the traditional market community as a learning ecosystem that supports authentic and deep engagement.
