Abstract

This research is attracted by the condition where students have poor reading comprehension. This occurs because the students solely read given texts, in which students are active in reading. Hence, it is difficult for students to conclude the text. Therefore, an appropriate strategy is needed to overcome these problems. KWL Strategy (Know, Want, Learn) is an effective strategy applied to the learning process, especially reading comprehension. The KWL (Know, Want, Learn) strategy provides an active role for students before, during, and when reading. The purpose of this research is to explore the KWL (Know, Want, Learn) strategies for students' reading comprehension skills using the literature study method. The literature study is an activity relating to the method of collecting library data, reading materials, making some notes, and managing research materials. The data obtained was concluded and compared to find out research that is in accordance with the purpose of the research. The results of the assessment conducted show that the KWL (Know, Want, Learn) strategy provides a positive effect on reading comprehension. Students are more active in reading comprehension; students are easier to read and understand the contents of the text and students are easier to summarize the content of the texts. Abstract

This research aims to understand students' preferences regarding the use of PowerPoint in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) and to identify potential challenges. The 3D development paradigm is employed, with the "Define" stage for issue identification, "Design" for crafting the questionnaire guidelines, and "Develop" for implementing solutions. Data were collected through an online questionnaire involving 10th-grade PAI students at SMKN 1 Cempaga Hulu. Research findings indicate that the majority of students (51.7%) enjoy PAI learning, with 44.8% expressing strong enthusiasm. Nevertheless, 44.8% find PAI learning challenging, particularly in topics related to banking and insurance. A significant portion of students (58.2%) still relies on textbooks as their primary learning medium, but 55.2% agree or strongly agree with the use of PowerPoint in PAI instruction. The discussion highlights that despite students' interest in PAI, difficulties persist in comprehending certain topics. Integrating PowerPoint as an alternative instructional medium can enhance the quality of learning and capture students' interest. However, prudent management is required to optimize student learning outcomes. Recommendations involve developing teaching strategies that effectively incorporate technology to enhance students' understanding of PAI content.

Abstract

The people's gold mine in Gunong Ujeun, Aceh Jaya Regency, is one of the community-designated people's mining zones. However, exploiting these people's mines has generated several confrontations in the local community, and many illegal miners have come. This study aims to investigate the implementation of government policies in managing people's gold mining as well as the obstacles encountered. This study used a qualitative approach and a descriptive model. The informants are miners, locals, village authorities, and the Aceh Jaya District administration. This study showed that the Aceh Jaya government's policies on the management of community mining had not been adequately implemented due to a lack of socialization and that some individuals did not comply with the policies or were unaware of them. Then overlaps in policy between regional and national legislation prevented the Aceh Jaya regional administration from freely regulating the management of mines.AbstrakTambang emas rakyat di Gunong Ujeun Kabupaten Aceh Jaya merupakan salah satu wilayah pertambangan rakyat yang telah diperuntukkan untuk dieksploitasi oleh masyarakat. Dalam pengeksploitasi tambang rakyat tersebut telah menimbulkan berbagai konflik di masyarakat lokal dan banyaknya penambang-penambang liar yang berdatangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tentang implementasi kebijakan Pemerintah dalam pengelolaan pertambangan emas rakyat serta kendala-kendala yang dihadapi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan model deskriptif. Informan dalam penelitian ini yaitu para penambang, penduduk, perangkat desa, dan pemerintah Kabupaten Aceh Jaya. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi kebijakan pemerintah Aceh Jaya dalam pengelolaan pertambangan rakyat belum berjalan secara maksimal. Penyebabnya adalah kurangnya sosialisasi yang dilakukan sehingga terdapat masyarakat yang tidak mematuhi hingga tidak mengetahui adanya peraturan tersebut. Kemudian, adanya kontradiksi antara peraturan daerah dan peraturan nasional membuat pemerintah daerah tidak bisa secara leluasa mengatur pengelolaan tambang di Aceh Jaya.

Abstract

Saat ini, Indonesia telah memasuki era digital. Oleh karena itu, penerapan digital marketing sangat penting bagi orang-orang yang menjalankan bisnis untuk mempromosikan produknya dan memperluas pasarnya. Namun, masih ada orang yang menjalankan bisnis yang tidak menyadari pentingnya menerapkan digital marketing dalam bisnis mereka. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode edukasi publik dan mediasi. Edukasi masyarakat yang dimaksud adalah memberikan pemahaman kepada UMKM "Sempol Ndeso" mengenai penerapan digital marketing (media sosial seperti facebook) dan pemahaman tentang perangkat promosi seperti standing banner. Kemudian, metode mediasi adalah menjadi mediator antara UMKM "Sempol Ndeso" dan pihak Gojek. Hasil dari layanan ini adalah UMKM "Sempol Ndeso" telah menerapkan digital marketing dalam bentuk promosi di media sosial seperti Facebook dan menjadi mitra Gojek, juga mereka menggunakan standing banner sebagai alat promosi fisik. Dengan cara ini, UMKM "Sempol Ndeso" dapat memperluas pasarnya.
