Abstract

The role of a counseling guidance teacher at school is a teacher or educator who is responsible for providing assistance to students in avoiding or overcoming difficulties in their lives so that individuals can achieve prosperity. Therefore, the efforts of the counseling guidance teacher in overcoming the learning difficulties of students in the teaching and learning process in schools are urgent to be implemented. Because if students have learning difficulties, it will hinder their learning development. And this will affect the output of school education that is of low quality and quality. Based on this, this study aims to explain the role of counseling guidance teachers in overcoming the learning difficulties of students at SMK Negeri 1 Kolaka. The research used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. Sources of data include counseling teachers, principals, and students of SMK Negeri 1 Kolaka as the main data source and several other data sources. The data collection technique used is by conducting observations, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the role of the counseling guidance teacher in overcoming the learning difficulties of the students of SMK Negeri 1 Kolaka, namely: planning a counseling guidance program, then identifying the problems faced by students. After finding the problems faced by students, then the students are given direction, motivation and understanding of the learning difficulties faced by students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki pengaruh supervisi terhadap hasil pembelajaran peserta didik di lingkungan pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode telaah pustaka untuk menganalisis literatur yang ada mengenai topik tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa supervisi merupakan faktor penting dalam meningkatkan hasil pembelajaran peserta didik. Supervisi dapat membantu tenaga pendidik meningkatkan mutu pengajaran mereka, sementara pemantauan dapat membantu mengidentifikasi kekuatan dan kelemahan peserta didik, sehingga memungkinkan tenaga pendidik untuk memberikan dukungan yang tepat sasaran. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa supervisi dan pemantauan sangat penting untuk meningkatkan hasil pembelajaran peserta didik yang ada di Indonesia, di mana mutu pendidikan masih menjadi perhatian utama. Penelitian ini menyarankan agar tenaga pendidik dan pemerintah memprioritaskan supervisi untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian Expost Facto dengan metode korelasional yang bertujuan untuk memperoleh kejelasan informasi yang objektif tentang hubungan antara kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan norma sosiomatematik. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan lembar soal dan angket yang dibagikan ke 40 siswa kelas IX MTsN 1 Kolaka. Lembar soal digunakan untuk mengukur kemampuan berikir kreatif siswa dan angket digunakan untuk mengukur norma sosiomatematik. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah korelasi sederhana. Dari hasil perhitungan diperoleh nilai koefisien korelasi antara kedua variabel adalah -0,140. Sedangkan statistik uji t yang diperoleh adalah -0,87. Artinya tidak ada cukup bukti untuk menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan norma sosiomatematik kelas IX MTs N 1 Kolaka.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran layanan bimbingan konseling individu terhadap akhlak siswa di SMAN 1 Kolaka. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, dengan pengambilan lokasi penelitian di SMAN 1 Kolaka. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan mereduksi data yang diperoleh dan menyajikan temuan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa layanan bimbingan konseling oleh guru di SMAN 1 Kolaka memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam menangani kedisiplinan siswa. Guru bimbingan konseling terlibat aktif dalam mengarahkan, membimbing, dan membentuk kedisiplinan siswa. Pemberian layanan bimbingan konseling terhadap kedisiplinan siswa dianggap cukup maksimal. Guru bimbingan konseling telah melaksanakan tugas dan kewajibannya dengan aktif, bahkan kepala sekolah juga turut berperan dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan siswa. Adapun saran yang dapat diambil dari penelitian ini melibatkan beberapa pihak: 1). Bagi guru, diharapkan agar proses pemberian layanan bimbingan konseling dapat memberikan arahan dan bimbingan yang lebih baik kepada siswa, terutama bagi guru bimbingan konseling. 2). Bagi siswa, diingatkan untuk selalu berperilaku baik dengan teman sebaya, guru, dan orang tua guna mencegah terjadinya permasalahan yang dapat mengganggu proses belajar mengajar di kelas.

Abstract

The principal plays a strategic role in improving the quality of education, particularly through leadership that impacts teacher performance. Teacher performance is an important indicator of the success of the learning process in schools and is greatly influenced by the principal's ability to carry out his/her duties and functions effectively. This study aims to describe the implementation of the principal's duties and functions, the condition of teacher performance, and the principal's role in improving teacher performance at SMP Negeri 2 Kolaka. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. The research subjects included the principal, vice principal, and several teachers. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions using triangulation techniques to ensure data validity. The results of the study indicate that the principal of SMP Negeri 2 Kolaka has carried out his/her duties and functions well, particularly in the aspects of leadership, coaching, supervision, and motivating teachers. Teacher performance is demonstrated through discipline, implementation of learning, and active participation in professional development activities. The principal's role in improving teacher performance is realized through the implementation of work discipline, continuous coaching, providing opportunities to participate in professional development activities, and creating a conducive work climate. This study concludes that principal leadership has an important contribution in improving teacher performance and supporting the achievement of educational goals in schools.

Abstract

This study analyzed the factors influencing the decisions of twelfth-grade students from MA, SMA, and SMK in Bombana Regency in choosing a higher education institution, with a case study of Universitas Sains Islam Al Mawaddah Warrahmah Kolaka (USIMAR). The study employed an explanatory quantitative approach involving 114 respondents and applied multiple linear regression analysis. The variables examined included accreditation, economic factors, social factors, promotion and campus image, and religiosity. The results indicated that, simultaneously, all variables significantly influenced students’ decisions, with an R² value of 0.817. Partially, economic, social, and religiosity factors had a significant effect, whereas accreditation as well as promotion and campus image did not have a significant effect. Social factors were identified as the most dominant determinant influencing students’ decisions to choose USIMAR Kolaka.
