Abstract

Besuki Residency well known at agricultural field. Child and infant mortality in this area is high. Child health problems of agricultural-oriented at Besuki Residency no one has research yet. This research uses quantitative methods that are retrospectives that include child health problems since 2017 until 2018. Quantitative method is used to collect data on patient characteristics (gender, disease, nursing problems, and age criteria) and illness to the children’s disease based on agricultural that arise due to activities or agricultural climate. The sample included 807 children at seven hospital scattered in several residency areas using quota sampling technic. Data analysis uses confirmatory factor analyze (CFA), with parameter data estimation uses analysis of moment structures. The result of p-values for health problems to gender = 0.033 (p<0.05), health problems to disease = 0.008 (p<0.05), health problems to nursing problems = 0.000 (p<0.05), health problems to age criteria = 0.000 (p<0.05). Fit model value indicates that the model is perfect fit. Child health problems, especially such as pneumonia, diarrhea, and malaria in the agricultural area with an agricultural perspective in the Besuki Residency can affect gender, disease, nursing problems, and age criteria. So that these health problems require specific health interventions or programs according to the characteristics of gender, disease, nursing problems, and age criteria. Abstract

Babies born with low birth weight (LBW) have a high risk and will have an impact on subsequent development. Studies show that the use of hormonal contraceptives can increase the risk of experiencing subjective health complaints than non-hormonal contraceptives. The study is an analytical descriptive study that aims to identify the effect of hormonal contraceptive used on low birth weight baby delivery. The study was conducted in three agricultural hospitals and three public hospitals in the Agriculture area of Besuki Residency. Data analysis of the sample was carried out by quota sampling. Characteristics of respondents were displayed by univariate analysis. The total number of participants in this study were 441 participants. Participants were divided into several data categories such as age, parity, medical history, previous history of preeclampsia, low birth weight babies, contraceptives used, complications of premature rupture of membranes. There two factors, that can predict the low birth weight baby delivery. They are hormonal contraceptives use and premature rupture of membranes. The test results get the hormonal contraceptive used factor to be the strongest factor (OR 19,12). Thus it was concluded "the hormonal contraceptive used factor is an abdominal factor of low birth weight baby delivery with a significance value of 0.000 (p0.05).

Abstract

One of the infectious diseases that have high morbidity and mortality rates is Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) which is transmitted through the bite of Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus mosquitoes. In West Java Province, dengue cases fluctuated. So it is necessary to analyze and review the influence of weather on dengue cases in West Java Province with the pattern and prevalence of dengue cases in all cities and districts in West Java Province. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research by making exploratory observations and producing something general with a Geographic Information System approach. The location of this research is in all 27 districts and cities in West Java Province. Data on dengue cases in West Java Province is accessed from the West Java Provincial Health Office on the West Java Open Data platform (https://opendata.jabarprov.go.id/). Then the population data of West Java Province can be accessed at the Central Statistics Agency of West Java Province on the https://jabar.bps.go.id/ platform. Analysis of this research data for incidence is calculated by dividing the number of cases divided by the population and then multiplying by one hundred thousand, while the prevalence can be calculated by dividing the number of cases divided by the population and then multiplying by a thousand, and mapping using QGIS 3.16. From 2014 – 2020, the highest cases were in the city of Bandung and the highest prevalence was in the city of Sukabumi. there is a relationship between rainfall and DHF cases in West Java Province in 2014 - 2020 with a moderate correlation strength where rainfall plays a role in the incidence of DHF cases but is not absolute because it can still be influenced by other factors.

Abstract

Acute respiratory infections (ARI) are still a major health problem in Indonesia and even in the world. It causes of mortality and morbidity of many people in developing countries. AR has the potential to provide contextual education in media and can help explore interconnections in information in cyberspace, people, especially children and parents can use AR to build new understandings based on their interactions with virtual objects. The research method used in this research is pre-experimental design. The type of research design that is expected to prove the effect of P-AR on ARI with the design of educational media. The method involves a group of mothers who have children with ARI taken by consecutive sampling in the community when the posyandu is run. The total participants in this study were 107 participants, with an age range of 21 - 40 years. there was a decrease in maternal stress levels as much as stress (SD± 19.25 - 9.644) and improvement in maternal resilience after the application of PAR with (SD± 5.35 - 8.38). Based on the results of research, shown that mothers who have children with respiratory infections to receive health care in hospitals can make mothers experience depression and anxiety. In addition, children also feel anxious about the presence of disease. So we need a coping strategy and information that can help in problem solving. AR can be used to improve emotional health in children.

Abstract

The problem of stunting can be immediately overcome by optimizing the local food sources. The purpose of this community service is to optimize the use of agricultural products as nutritious food through Posyandu Plus with an agronursing approach. The approach taken in this service is through participatory action research in Patemon and Bedadung Villages for 3 months. Partners are involved in the establishment, implementation, and evaluation of the Nursing Feeding Center Care. A series of activities were carried out including health education, group process for making additional food, empowerment in the food diversification program, and the implementation of posyandu plus. The measurement of the success of the program is carried out by increasing the knowledge, attitudes, and behavior of mothers in the care of stunting toddlers. In addition, nutritional status (Z Score) is measured. The results showed that there was an increase in knowledge (17.1±2.1 vs 22.6±1.6; p-value <0.001) attitude (34.7±4.7 vs 40.2±3.5; p-value <0.001), and behavior (32.3±3.5 vs 39.3±3.1; p-value <0.001) of mothers. Furthermore, there was an improvement in stunting problems which was initially stunted by 24.1% to 41.4% not stunting (p-value = 0.027). The agronursing-based posyandu PLUS program was able to overcome stunting problems in the community

Abstract

Fever is the most common problem in children Giving antipyretics to treat fever gives a topical reaction and causes discomfort in children when they have a fever. Tepid sponge as a method of reducing temperature by administering water to the surface of the patient's skin to control body temperature based on the principles of evaporation and conduction of body temperature can cause comfort in children. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of tepid sponge on decreasing body temperature in pediatric patients with ARI, diarrhea and seizures. The research design was a two group pretest-post-test design (tepid sponge) as the treatment given to the patients under five with ARI, diarrhea and febrile seizures in the inpatient room of RSD dr. Soebandi Jember and RSD dr. Abdoer Rahem Situbondo. 60 participants were involved as the sample of the study selected through purposive sampling. The results were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Sign Rank test with a significance level was set at α = 0.05. Tepid Sponge is effective for reducing body temperature in children. Nurses, families and parents can safely apply the Tepid Sponge as a hyperthermia management solution for pediatric patients.
