Infancy (0-12 months) is the most important period in human development. This is due in this period of brain development and intelligence that will affect adulthood (Winarno, 1990). Developmental disorder is a condition in which the child is not able to achieve the developmental tasks at the expected time. Disorder can occur in many areas of development, for example in motorik, language, social, or think. Based on the UNICEF conceptual framework, there are direct and indirect factors that affect child development (Myers 1990; and 1997 in Hartoyo Hadad et al. 2000).This study aims to determine the relationship of nutrition knowledge of mothers with levels of motorik and mental development of stunted children aged 6 to 12 months in Tanah Datar regency. This study uses a quantitative approach with cross sectional design and qualitative approaches. The samples were stunted children aged 6-12 months as many as 89 people. Sampling was carried out with Multistage Random Sampling technique. Data analysis was performed with a statistical test and Chi square test. The results quantitatively demonstrate an association with maternal nutrition knowledge of motorik and mental development of stunted children with p value 0.02. It is recommended to improve the coordination between the programs in health centers (posyandu), so that health problems, especially problems of child development can be satisfactorily resolved. Besides cross-sector participation as kenagarian, PKK and related agencies in the revitalization posyandu further enhanced, so that posyandu as one of community empowerment efforts can work well. Key words :motorik and mental development of stunted children Abstrak. Abstract

The nutritional needs of preschool children are very important for their growth and development. However, the problem is the low consumption of preschool children for fruits and vegetables, so it requires special strategies, for that the role of the family is very important. This study aims to determine the impact of nutrition education and changes in mother's behavior towards the fulfillment of vegetable and fruit consumption strategies in pre-school children. This research uses quasi-experimental and observational methods, observations were carried out on 30 September 2019 on 44 preschool children. Data collection was carried out on September 20, 2019, in Early Childhood Education SB in 50 mothers of preschool children. The data is processed in stages; editing, coding, transferring and tabulating. Univariate data analysis in the form of frequency distribution tables, paired t-test statistical test. The results showed an average value of knowledge before the intervention (p= 0,000). Observation results show that after nutrition education was given, only 31,8% of preschool children were given vegetable and fruit supplies or processed food vegetables and fruits by the mother when going to school. The conclusion of the study is nutrition education on maternal strategies in increasing consumption of vegetables and fruit in preschool children in early childhood education effectively changing maternal knowledge but has not had a comprehensive impact on changes in mother’s behavior

Abstract

An athlete's physical fitness is closely related to his nutritional intake. In 2019, it was found that as many as 27% of athletes in the West Sumatra DISPORA Sports Talent UPTD were in the unfit category. This study aims to analyze the intake of macro and micronutrients on the physical fitness of athletes at the UPTD Sports Talent DISPORA West Sumatra in 2022. The study design was cross-sectional. The population is 140 athletes with a sample of 58 athletes. Sampling using Proportional Random Sampling. Intake data were collected through interviews with the food recall and physical fitness using the bleep test. Data analysis used the chi-square test and logistic regression test. The results of this study indicate that 37.9% of athletes are in the unfit category. Athletes' intake of nutrients that are less than their needs, namely energy (15.5%), protein (8.6%), fat (10.3%), carbohydrates (17.2%), iron (55.2%) vitamins B12 (12.2%), and vitamin C (10.3%). There is no significant relationship between the intake of energy, protein, vitamin B12 and vitamin C with physical fitness, but there is a significant relationship between the intake of fat, carbohydrates and iron with physical fitness. The variable that most affects physical fitness is iron intake. Suggested to increase intake so that athletes' achievements can increase. Suggested to increase intake so that athletes' achievements can increase. Abstrak: Kebugaran jasmani seorang atlet berkaitan erat dengan asupan gizinya. Pada tahun 2019, diketahui bahwa sebanyak 27 % atlet di UPTD Kebakatan Olahraga DISPORA Sumatera Barat berada pada kategori tidak bugar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis asupan zat gizi makro dan mikro terhadap kebugaran jasmani atlet di UPTD Kebakatan Olahraga DISPORA Sumatera Barat tahun 2022. Desain penelitian adalah cross sectional. Populasi berjumlah 140 atlet dengan jumlah sampel 58 atlet. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Proportional Random Sampling. Pengambilan data asupan memalui wawancara dengan metode food recall 2x24 jam dan kebugaran jasmani menggunakan bleep test. Analisis data menggunakan uji chi-square dan uji regresi logistik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 37,9 % atlet berada dalam kategori tidak bugar. Asupan zat gizi atlet yang kurang dari kebutuhannya yaitu energi (15,5 %), protein (8,6 %), lemak (10,3 %), karbohidrat (17,2 %), zat besi(55,2 %) vitamin B12 (12,2 %), dan vitamin C (10,3 %). Tidak ada hubungan yang bermakna antara asupan energi, protein, vitamin B12 dan vitamin C dengan kebugaran jasmani, namun ada hubungan bermakna antara asupan lemak, karbohidrat dan zat besi dengan kebugaran jasmani.Variabel yang paling mempengaruhi kebugaran jasmani adalah asupan zat besi. Diharapkan agar atlet lebih memperhatikan asupan agar prestasi atlet dapat meningkat.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of nutritional counseling on changes in eating behavior, body mass index, and body fat in overweight and obese children. This study is a randomized controlled trial. The results showed that the percentage of men was more than women, namely 51.9%, while the rate of respondents' age at most was 14 years, which was 46.2%. In conclusion, there is a significant difference between energy intake before and after the provision of nutritional counseling. Still, there is no difference in the frequency of carbohydrates and fat. Providing nutritional counseling can change eating behavior based on energy intake.
