Abstract

WHO telah menyatakan Covid-19 sebagai pandemi, masa pandemi ini berbagai peristiwa dapat terjadi mulai dari gangguan psikososial, kehilangan mata pencaharian hingga kehilangan anggota keluarga karena menjadi korban Covid-19, menurut data kasus positif terkonfirmasi Covid-19 di Indonesia terus bertambah. Terkait informasi tersebut dapat di tanggapi berbeda oleh setiap orang di antaranya bersikap santai dan menanggapi hanya sebatas pengetahuan semata namun banyak pula yang menanggapi dengan serius sehingga mengganggu kesehatan mentalnya. Dinamika ini dapat dialami oleh semua orang sehinga di perlunya peningkatan pengetahuan untuk mampu beradaptasi dengan kehidupan baru. Mencermati Fakta Covid-19 dibutuhkan adapatasi dan perilaku baru yang harus dilakukan berdasarkan tuntutan kemandirian baik individu, keluarga, kelompok dan komunitas, untuk itu perlu di lakukan tindakan keperawatan sederhana yaitu dengan memberikan penyuluhan kesehatan secara online, tahapan kegiatannya persiapan nara sumber materi, sarana prasarana,  pelaksanaan kegiatan menggunakan metode live streaming Youtube dengan kerja sama bagian IT,  jumlah peserta yang mengikuti live streaming ini berjumlah 58 orang. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini memiliki dampak positif pada masyarakat luas seperti perubahan perilaku dan pola pikir hal terlihat dalam hasil post test pengetahuan kebiasaan baru; perilaku hidup bersih 27% ; perilaku jaga jarak 22%; memakai masker 27%, pengetahuan adaptasi manusia 59%, pengetahuan keluarga mandiri 48%. Pentingnya memberikan pemahaman melalui penyuluhan kesehatan bagi masyarakat secara online agar mampu menjangkau lebih luas serta mampu mempersiapkan mental dan perilaku masyarakat dalam menghadapi adaptasi kebiasaan baru ini.

Abstract

Preoperative actions can have a psychological impact on patients such as fear and anxiety. To overcome anxiety can be done pharmacologically and non- pharmacologically. One of the non-pharmacological therapies to reduce anxiety is instrumental music therapy. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of instrumental music on anxiety in preoperative patients in the Lukas Inpatient Room, Santo Vincentius Hospital Singkawang. The method used is a quasi-experimental design with Pre And Post Test Without Control. Sampling was carried out using the Probability Sampling technique with the Simple random sampling technique with a total sample of 31 people. The method of data collection was using the APAIS questionnaire sheet and MP3 instrumental music. Data analysis used was univariate and bivariate analysis using the Saphiro-Wilk normality test, probability value (sig) <0.05 and non-parametric Wilcoxon test obtained p-value 0.000 <0.05. This study shows that most of the patients before being given instrumental music therapy experienced high anxiety by 51.6%, the level of anxiety after being given instrumental music decreased to moderate anxiety by 38.7%. There is an effect between before being given instrumental music therapy and after being given instrumental music therapy to preoperative patients in the St. The results of the study can be proposed as a suggestion in the management of anxiety at the General Hospital of Santo Vincentius Singkawang by using instrumental music in preoperative patients

Abstract

Stroke merupakan salah satu penyakit yang menjadi masalah terbesar dalam bidang kesehatan di dunia. Stroke ini juga dapat membuat pasien akan menjadi stres, merasa tidak berguna dan tidak ada gairah hidup namun dengan memiliki komitmen agama, dimana spiritual di percaya berperan penting dalam pencegahan penyakit, mengurangi penderitaan saat sakit serta mempercepat penyembuhan selain terapi medis yang diberikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional digunakan dalam penelitian terhadap 62 responden. Spiritual diukur menggunakan SWBS (Spiritual Well Being Scale) 20 soal dan kualitas hidup menggunakan kuisioner Stroke specific quality of life (SSQOL-12 item). Hasil uji statistik pada kedua variabel didapatkan nilai significancy p (p-value) yaitu 0,000 dimana hasil tersebut < 0,05. Hasil dari penelitian ini di dapatkan data adanya hubungan spiritual dengan kualitas hidup pada pasien stroke. Semakin baik tingkat spiritual, maka semakin baik juga tingkat kualitas hidup. Penderita stroke perlu melakukan pendekatan spiritual kepada Tuhan untuk meningkan kualitas hidup sehingga dapat memiliki pikiran yang tetap positif yang akan memberikan pengaruh yang baik bagi penyembuhan. Perlu dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut terkait hubungan spiritual dengan kualitas hidup terhadap pasien stroke, mengingat sumber-sumber terkait ini masih terbatas dengan variabel – variabel lainnya seperti psikologis pasien.

Abstract

In the intensive care unit of Santo Antonius Hospital Pontianak with  p value = 0.00 Family members will experience anxiety when facing one of the family members who is admitted to the ICU. Anxiety in the family can interfere with the patient's treatment process, because anxiety can cause stress in the family that can affect treatment support.  Method: This study is a quantitative research that uses a correlative descriptive design with a cross sectional design. Sampling sampling technique  with Total Sampling of 41 people. Croncbach's Alpha validity test result of 0.901 and proven reliable with > result of 0.6 Result: Most of the respondents (56.1%) had good knowledge about treatment in the ICU of St. Antonius Hospital Pontianak. Almost half of the respondents (36.6%) experienced mild anxiety because their families were treated at St. Anthony's Hospital. The results of statistical tests using Chi Square and the level of significance (α) 0.05 were obtained There is a relationship between knowledge about patient care and the level of family anxiety in the intensive care unit room of St. Antonius Hospital Pontianak with a   p value = 0.001. Conclusion: There is a relationship between knowledge about patient care and the level of family anxiety.

Abstract

Breast cancer is the most common type of cancer in Indonesia and one of the main causes of cancer mortality, according to GLOBOCON (2020) data. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the knowledge and attitudes of female students at the Immanuel Health Institute in Bandung after receiving BSE health education through video media. Pretest-posttest design with one group is used in this pre-experimental style of study. Utilizing a proportionate stratified random sampling procedure, the sample consists of 68 female students. The Wilcoxon signed rank test was utilized during the analysis process. The results of the study obtained that the majority of respondents' knowledge before being given education was less (39.7%) after being given education, most of them were good (72.1%). The attitude of the respondents before being given the majority of negative education was (54. 4%) after being given the majority of positive education (75.0%). The results of the Wilcoxon statistical test showed knowledge p-value 0.000 (p<0.05) and attitude p-value 0.000 (p<0.05). It can be concluded that there is an effect of providing health education on breast self-examination with video media on the knowledge and attitudes of students at the Institut Kesehatan Immanuel, Bandung. Suggestions for female students to routinely do BSE every month after menstruation.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the relationship between culture-based excellent service and patient satisfaction in the inpatient room at Hospital X in Pontianak.The research uses quantitative descriptive methods with a cross-sectional study approach. The total sample is 86 respondents, the measuring instrument is a questionnaire of excellent service and customer satisfaction which was created by the author himself with validation results of calculated r values ranging from 0.40 to 0.887 and reliability of 0.944 and 0.956. The research results showed that almost all of the respondents said it was very good, 68 people or (79.07%), the level of patient satisfaction, the majority of respondents said it was very satisfied, 63 people or (73.26%), the results of the analysis of excellent service relationships based on Culture and patient satisfaction with the Spearman Rank obtained a SIG value = 0.000 (Sig < 0.05), so it can be concluded that there is a very significant relationship between excellent service and patient satisfaction in the Inpatient Room at Hospital X in Pontianak. It is hoped that the results of this research can be used to improve excellent nursing service because of the importance of excellent nursing service in increasing the satisfaction of inpatients at Hospital X in Pontianak.

Abstract

Community service activities carried out by Working Group 1 Immanuel Bandung Health Institute in RW 01 Babakan Ciparay Village, Babakan Ciparay District, Bandung City. Community service aims to Increasing public knowledge about health and utilization gadgets for digital marketing at RW 01 Babakan Ciparay Bandung City. Activities involving 8 lecturers from the S1 Nursing, S1 Public Health, S1 Nutrition, D3 Nursing and D3 Hospital Service Management (MPRS) study programs. There were 10 students involved, consisting of 2 students from the S1 Kesmas Study Program, and 8 people from the D3 MPRS Study Program. Community service methods are carried out by means of counseling, lectures and questions and answers, using videos, posters, stickers, and direct practice. The media used are televisions, and laptops to display material in the form of power points. The material presented to the community was carried out in 2 stages and took place at the house of the head of RW 01 Babakan Ciparay. Phase 1 was held on Wednesday, September 8, carried out by 2 lecturers to deliver material on the use of gadgets in the era of digital marketing, family mental health and video screenings on the prevention of COVID-19, hypertension and diabetes mellitus. The second phase was held on Tuesday, 27 September 2022. The material presented includes: mental health of pregnant women and the importance of eating fruits and vegetables by means of lectures using power point media. Material on hypertension is delivered directly through lectures and questions and answers. Material on handling cardiac arrest at home, carried out with direct practice to the community. Media used for learning using mannequin aids. In addition, posters about COVID-19 prevention and stickers on how to sort waste were also given. The results of community service can increase public knowledge about health in general and the use of gadgets for digital marketing. The constraints of this community service activity have not been evaluated in a structured manner using questionnaires. The suggestion that can be recommended is that the implementation of community service be carried out in the same location with different materials, and that IKI should have a target area. Community service activities can then be continued with research first to find out the problems that exist in the community.
