Abstract

The cause of project delays in terms of planning and scheduling is the management aspect. To avoid project delays, Yayasan Pondok Modern Al Kautsar development project was delayed due to lack of manpower, changes in work items, and difficulty getting into the project so that one alternative was needed, namely analysis of Network Planning with Critical Path Method (CPM), Project Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT) and Crash Program. Alternatives are the increase in the amount of labor to get maximum acceleration and the addition of alternative minimum costs. Implementation of acceleration with Critical Path Method (CPM), Project Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT) and Crash Program and using Micorosft Project 2019 software to facilitate in analyzing Network Diagrams and determining critical trajectories. The alternative goal is to find out how many days the project schedule can be accelerated and the cost of acceleration. The initial planning of the project was carried out for 198 days at a cost of Rp. The 6.738.000.841,66. most optimal alternative is Crash Program 2 with a maximum acceleration increase of 2 days with a project completion time of 196 days with an acceleration cost of Rp. 59,580,000.

Abstract

The main objective of the research is to establish a sustainable Siak River pollution management strategy, in an effort to accelerate (quick win) the strategic policy of Siak River pollution management which is one of the National Strategic category rivers located in the Sumatra Region based on Presidential Decree No. 12 of 2012 concerning the Determination of the River Basin, because the Siak River has a very large function and role in regional and economic development both locally, regionally and nationally. The approach method used is Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) with the selected method of Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The primary data is in the form of questionnaire data with the aim of being assessed by experts (expert judgment) who are considered competent in assessing the processing of Siak River pollution. Seven respondents identified who have the potential and are representative to contribute to obtaining expert judgment recommendations consist of Universities represented by the University of Riau (UR), the Riau Province Environmental Agency (BLH), the Sumatran Ecoregion Development Control Center, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO) Jikalahari, Center for Watershed Management (BPDAS) Indragiri Rokan. Regional Research and Development Agency for Riau Province and the River Basin Center (BWS) III Sumatra.            The main results of the study stated that the Siak River water pollution control strategy using the AHP approach sequentially was to rearrange the spatial function, determine the pollution load capacity (DTBP), coordination of stakeholder synergies, program socialization and counseling, supervision and monitoring, law enforcement and development. Wastewater Treatment Plant (WTP).

Abstract

Climate change has an impact on increasing the temperature of the earth's surface which causes an increase in extreme weather such as floods and droughts. Climate change adaptation is an effort to increase the ability to adapt to changes, including climate diversity and extreme climate events, so that the potential damage caused by climate change can be reduced, opportunities posed by climate change can be utilized and the consequences can be overcome. This study discusses hydrological disasters due to climate change with a change adaptation approach, through environmentally sound drainage or ecodrain. One of the chosen forms of ecodrain is infiltration wells. Excess water that causes flooding can be reduced by storing excess water into the soil. Water that is absorbed into the soil is beneficial for the continuity of groundwater. From the results of the discussion, it is known that with extreme weather changes, evaporation exceeds the amount of rainfall in certain months in Pekanbaru City in 2018. The potential for water loss from this area results in the emergence of potential drought. However, as long as the annual rainfall value is greater than the evaporation value, the annual meteorological drought in the area can be avoided. On the other hand, the design of infiltration wells in the Hang Tuah Cipta Housing area is able to reduce runoff that occurs by 70% of the total runoff to be absorbed into the ground. Thus infiltration wells are able to provide benefits in reducing flooding and saving groundwater.

Abstract

The Population growth and development in an area lead to increased water demand and reduced use of green land. These changes can cause environmental degradation, decrease in environmental quality and existing water resources. Therefore, wise and sustainable development is needed for society. In this case the Government of Pekanbaru City has included a policy on Water Resources and Infiltration Wells in the Regional Regulation (PERDA No. 10 of 2006). One of the main objectives of implementing the PERDA is to prevent stagnation of water during the rainy season which can be detrimental to the community, especially in residential areas and other buildings. However, some researchers has stated the reality in the field that the implementation of this PERDA is not going well. Technical provisions for the use of infiltration wells are water level elevation and soil permeability which must meet the requirements. Therefore, this study aims to measure the elevation of the groundwater table, test the permeability of the soil and present the test values and measurements on a spatial map Therefore, this study aims to measure the elevation of the groundwater table, test the permeability of the soil and present the test and measurement values into a spatial map based on a geographic information system (GIS). This spatial map depicts the coordinates of sampling points that provide information on permeability values and groundwater levels, as well as recommendations for making infiltration wells at each sample point that meet the requirements. Thus, this spatial map can help residents or the government to obtain information on which locations are recommended for infiltration wells, because not all locations can be used.
