Abstract

The eruption of Mount Sinabung in 2010 caused bursts of volcanic ash particles into the atmosphere layer to impact the weather. This is because volcanic ash is hydrocopic which can cause condensation process and block the process of solar radiation earth surface. Precivitable Water vapor (PWV) as one of the parameters of the atmosphere that can be used as information to determine the weather conditions in an area. Utilization of data Sumatran GPS Array (SUGAR) and data satellite Terra sensors MODIS (Moderate Resolution Imaging Spektroradiometer) can be used to find out PWV through GPS inversion method by utilizing estimated estimation of slowing and rotating GPS signals overlaid with troposphere. While the transmittance method is performed by comparing the surface reflectance between the channel absorption and the channel non absorption contained in the sensor MODIS. The results showed that spatial variation of PWV distribution pattern showed wetness pattern during eruption. This was indicated by some areas that have PWV distribution pattern almost in each region and PWV verification result from GPS showed ± 47.65 mm-66.81 mm, while PWV value from MODIS ranges from ± 13.02 mm - 80.05 mm. Based on the results of PWV-GPS correlation test from June to October of 2010 has a correlation coefficient of 0.0173 to PWV from MODIS and explains the positive relationship between PWV of GPS with PWV value from MODIS, but correlation value of the variable variables including low category because of location points Station SUGAR are spread unevenly and are more likely to spread along the western coast of Sumatra, which borders the Indian Ocean.

Abstract

Peanuts or Latin Arachis hypoghea is one of the crops of palawija that has long been known to our farmers as a production plant. One of the causes that inhibits peanut productivity is because the planting process is still done manually using human power. To overcome this, the system was designed to design a tool for planting peanuts mechanically. The design of this equipment begins with the size and shape of the instrument itself with the aim of producing a peanut plant that works in human thrust strength, this study brings significance to farmers to save costs to pay workers, otherwise farmers work efficiently and effectively.

Abstract

One of the transportation problems in big cities, one of which is Semarang City, which is congestion, this is proven by the growth of vehicles every year dominated by cars and motorbikes. This shows that public transport services are uneven, and not proportional to the rate of population growth that increases every year. Government efforts in overcoming these problems by planning the implementation of the Transit Oriented Development Concept (TOD). Budi Setyadi (in kompas.com 2018) as Director General of Land Transportation stated that type A terminals in Cirebon, Semarang, Solo, and Malang as pilot terminals were developed into TOD areas. The concept of TOD is a concept that emphasizes the creation of a regional or environmental center that plays a direct role as a transit point related to the formation or design of commercial areas and settlements to maximize access to transportation, especially the use of public transportation. The purpose of this research is to identify potential land uses and indications of policies based on weighting spatial variables from related stakeholders in the area around Terminal Mangkang Semarang to the concept of transit oriented development (TOD), so as to support sustainable development. In addition to integrating land use with the surrounding area, the role of stakeholders plays an important role. If there is no role of stakeholders, the provision of facilities and infrastructure in the implementation of the TOD concept will not be properly implemented and neglected. So that efforts are needed to explore indications that affect the community to choose TOD development.
