Abstract

Optimal development is the goal that the child is expected to achieve during maturation which can be categorized into 5 domains, one of which is fine motor development. Fine motor development takes longer to achieve than gross motor development so it is necessary to stimulate one of them with a play approach. This study aims to analyze the development of LADO BALA play therapy (playdough Natural ingredients) on fine motor development and anxiety levels in children in the agricultural area. This research is a quasy experiment research with one group pretest-posttest design. The respondents in this study were 78 pre-school children with purposive sampling techniques. The measuring tools used in this study were DDST sheets to assess development and Faces Image Scale (FIS) to assess anxiety. The novelty in this study is that the media used is the result of the development of researchers, namely playdough with natural ingredients, namely wheat flour, salt, food coloring, warm water by utilizing local resources and wisdom in the agronursing area, namely using coconut oil which is safe and beneficial for children's skin health. The data obtained were analyzed with the Wilcoxon signed ranks test to determine the influence between variables. The results of each analysis were obtained namely p = 0.001 which stated that there was an influence of the development of playdough play on fine motor development and anxiety levels in children in the agriculture area. Playing lado bala facilitates children's development through squeezing, shaking, and increasing creativity in children, as well as making children feel happy so as to reduce anxiety in children.Playing ladobala can be one of the stimulations of fine motor development in pre-shool children in the agronursing area and ladobala media can be made by children with parents with easily available and safe materials.

Abstract

Adolescence is a transitional age where a person experiences changes in his reproductive system which begins to function. Teenagers should be provided with information about reproductive health and various factors that may affect  reproductive system. Purpose of this health promotion is for all 6th graders of SD Al Ikhlas Lumajang, Lumajang Regency to understand more about adolescent reproductive health and be able to practice it in everyday life. Service method uses counseling using Lectures with power point media, adolescent reproductive health education videos, X banners and leaflets. Results that are very supportive of the success of this community service activity are good coordination between presenters and committees, formulas and the school. Submission of material in the form of videos that are quite interesting for elementary school students who are classified as teenagers, there are discussions and questions and answers that are quite long, as well as door prizes for participants who dare to ask questions. Some of the inhibiting factors in this community service activity are the time and conditions during the pandemic so that the implementation of health protocols must be prioritized. The conclusion of this community service activity can be said to be successful. This can be observed in the level of attendance, the activeness of the participants. This activity took place in an orderly and good manner without experiencing significant obstacles. Follow-up that needs to be done is to continuously provide information on puberty and health, especially for new students

Abstract

Hospitalization is one of the causes of trauma and psychological trauma in children who are hospitalized. One of the impacts that often occurs in children undergoing hospitalization is anxiety. The aim of this research is to provide nursing care for children undergoing treatment in hospitals with anxiety problems using a playdough approach in the Bougenville Room at RSUD Dr. Haryoto Lumajang. Data collection used was interviews, observation, and documentation study of the anxiety experienced by patients. Research shows that play therapy using playdough is carried out for 15 to 30 minutes once a day makes children more interested and follow directions in playing so that they can divert their anxiety while they are in the hospital. This play therapy medium is effectively used to reduce anxiety in children when the child is in the hospital. Jam is a play therapy medium that is also useful for stimulating children's motor development because, in this play dough game, the way of playing uses the five senses, so it is effective as a learning medium given by parents to children.

Abstract

Parents must prepare emotionally and psychologically to face pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting so that they can be more confident about their role as parents later. Parents' duties include providing exclusive breast milk, which has benefits for their baby's health, but there are still many mothers who experience failure in breastfeeding at the beginning of the birth of their first baby. This research aims to provide nursing care to postpartum mothers with nursing problems of readiness to become parents using a parenting promotion and attachment promotion approach (breastfeeding technique education) in the lotus room at RSUD Dr. Haryoto Lumajang. Data collection was used through interviews, observation, and documentation studies. Research shows that if care promotion and attachment promotion (education on breastfeeding techniques) are carried out in accordance with the SDKI, SLKI and SIKI guidelines, nursing problems can be resolved, and the role of parents can improve. Actions to promote nurturing and promotion of breastfeeding attachment/attachment techniques are very important to help mothers find it easier to breastfeed their children because more information can increase parents' knowledge and skills, thus creating awareness to change behaviour according to their knowledge.

Abstract

Acute pain frequently affects post-cesarean section patients and, if left unmanaged, can slow recovery and potentially lead to chronic pain. Non-pharmacological methods like Deep Breathing Relaxation combined with Murottal Al-Quran therapy offer a promising solution to alleviate this pain. This case study examines the effectiveness of these techniques in reducing acute pain post-cesarean section in the Teratai Ward of Dr. Haryoto Regional General Hospital, Lumajang. Therapy involves daily 20-minute sessions of QS Ar-Rahman (78 verses) recited by Qori' Ahmad Saud via MP3. The participant was a patient meeting specific criterion: hospitalized for at least 3 days, with moderate pain levels (NRS score), exhibiting signs such as pain complaints, grimacing, protective behaviors, sleep difficulties, of Islamic faith, and with no hearing impairments. Pain levels were measured using the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) before and after the intervention. Results showed a notable reduction in pain over the 3-day intervention, with the NRS score decreasing from 7 (moderate) to 4 (mild), accompanied by reduced grimacing, less protective behavior, and improved sleep quality. This study suggests that combining deep breathing relaxation and Murottal Al-Quran offers significant pain relief for post-cesarean patients. It is practical and cost-effective, allowing it to be easily implemented by nursing staff starting from the first-day post-surgery. These findings highlight a feasible approach for pain management in post-cesarean care, providing an effective and accessible option that aligns with the needs of Islamic patients, ultimately enhancing their comfort and recovery process.

Abstract

Pneumonia can pose a serious threat to children's health. In pneumonia, increased lung secretions obstruct the airways, affecting breathing, especially in children who cannot expel sputum alone. If not treated immediately, this condition can be fatal. This study aimed to provide nursing care for children with nursing problems of ineffective airway clearance with Pursed Lips. Breathing using balloons can help improve gas exchange, which is observed by increasing oxygen saturation in the body and can help expel secretions. Participants in this study were pneumonia patients aged 3-5 years who were treated in the Bougenville Room of Dr. Haryoto Hospital, Lumajang, with nursing problems of Ineffective Airway Clearance and were not allergic to balloons. Data collection used interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results of the assessment showed that An. A male, 5 years old, has a weak general condition, ineffective cough, sputum, additional breathing sounds of rhonchi, and an increased respiratory rate. The nursing problem that occurred was ineffective airway clearance. The interventions carried out refer to the Indonesian Nursing Intervention Standards (SIKI) intervention, namely airway management, respiratory monitoring, and Pursed Lips Breathing (PLB) actions. To attract children's interest, PLB uses balloons conceptualized as balloon play therapy, whose mechanism is similar to PLB with an atraumatic care approach. After nursing care for 4 days, the goals were achieved. Namely, changes in effective coughing increased, sputum decreased, additional breath sounds were absent, breathing patterns changed, and breathing frequency improved. Pursed Lips Breathing (PLB) can increase alveolar expansion in each lung lobe so that alveolar pressure increases and secretions can be pushed into the airway during expiration. PLB can be carried out to increase knowledge as an innovative intervention in treating children with pneumonia diagnosed with ineffective airway clearance.
