Abstract

Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) infection has been a major public health-related issue worldwide, including Indonesia. The COVID-19 cases still escalating until this study finished in June 2020 due to the disease positively spreading from person to person. To reduce the spreading of the disease, investigating Indonesian’s knowledge, attitudes, and practice on COVID prevention and mitigation during the outbreak period was crucial. A survey cross-sectional was conducted and using social networking apps to recruit participants. All Indonesian residents who have 18 years old and over and living in Indonesia during the COVID-19 outbreak were voluntarily invited to participate in this study. There are 3464 participants involved in this study. The mean age was 27.63 years, and mostly were women, domicile in Java, held bachelor degrees, students, Muslims, and single/never married. The lowest mean practices score was found among residents who live in Maluku, Papua, and Papua Barat, senior high qualification, unemployed, indigenous religions, and single/never married. The majority of Indonesian residents have good knowledge, positive attitudes, and good practice to promote COVID-19 prevention and mitigation to reduce the pandemic spreading within the country. However, there is a lack of knowledge, attitudes, and practice among a particular group of participants.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Ulkus kaki diabetik merupakan salah satu komplikasi kronik dari diabetes yang sering ditemui. Kehadiran biofilm bakteri dianggap sebagai penghalang bagi perkembangan alami luka menuju penyembuhan dan memfasilitasi bioburden transisi dari kolonisasi sederhana ke kolonisasi kritis dan infeksi. Tujuan: Diketahuinya efektivitas penggunaan cairan pembersih luka polyhexamethylene biguanide dengan nano silvosept spray terhadap kemampuan mengurangi biofilm pada ulkus kaki diabetik. Metode: Kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, menggunakan teknik sampling, dengan jumlah partisipan 2. Pengukuran observasi dengan menggunakan Leg Ulcer Measurement Tool, dokumentasi dari rekaman arsip, dan triangulasi berupa wawancara dengan terapis yang mengetahui perkembangan luka dari awal hingga penelitian dilaksanakan. Hasil: Didapatkan keefektivan tindakan proses pencucian luka kaki diabetik dengan biofilm menggunakan pengkajian leg ulcers measurement tools pada setiap kasus terdapat penurunan skor baik dengan cairan pembersih luka polyhexamethylene biguanide maupun pembersih luka nano silvosept spray. Penurunan pada setiap skor terjadi baik secara keseluruhan maupun yang berfokus terhadap kondisi biofilm yang salah satunya ditandai dengan penurunan eksudat pada luka. Kedua cairan ini cukup baik untuk membersihkan luka dalam mengurangi biofilm yang mengganggu dalam proses penyembuhan luka. Kesimpulan: Keduanya efektif digunakan dalam perawatan luka kaki diabetik dengan biofilm baik polyhexamethylene biguanide maupun nano silvosept spray karena mempunyai cara tersendiri dalam menghilangkan bakteri selama proses pencucian luka.

Abstract

Background: Corona Virus Disease-2019 (COVID-19) has been declared a pandemic throughout the world including in Indonesia, especially on the island of Java, with the number of cases always increasing, both confirmed cases and death cases. Objective: To find out the knowledge and attitudes of the people of Java Island related to sociodemographic (age, sex, education, and employment status) in efforts to control Covid-19. Methods: Cross-sectional design with a sample of 1,579 selected by simple random sampling. Collecting data using a questionnaire assisted by the google form program then the data is analyzed by using the chi-square test. Results: Of the 1,579 respondents who participated, namely the youth category by 57%, female gender by 76%, undergraduate education by 47.1%, and the work status of the student category by 41%. A total of 1008 respondents (64%) have good knowledge and 1251 respondents (79%) have a positive attitude. The results of the chi-square test on the knowledge variable showed that there was a relationship between age (p = 0.023) and education (p = 0.021), while gender (p = 0.359) and work status (p = 0.308) had no relationship. In the attitude variable, the results of the chi-square test showed that the p-value between age (p = 0.927), gender (p = 0.072), education (p = 0.140) and work status (p = 0.119) had no relationship, but the knowledge and attitude turns out that there is a value of p = 0.000 <0.05 with a confidence interval of 95%. These results indicate a relationship between knowledge and attitudes towards efforts to control COVID-19. Conclusion: The majority of people on the island of Java are knowledgeable and have a positive attitude in efforts to control COVID-19.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: CASE REPORT OF HEALING OF DIABETIC FOOT ULCERS ON A PATIENT WITH DM TYPE 2 AND PROLONGED BLOOD SUGAR MONITORING Background: Diabetic foot ulcers are the most common complications in patients with neuropathy. When diabetic foot ulcers could be cared properly, then preventing the risk of greater amputation. Methods: Case studies on a patient with DM type 2 and has diabetic foot ulcers with a history of irregular DM treatment. Wound care was using modern dressing and an estimated length of healing based on wound presentation with Bettes Jensen in patients followed by prolonged blood sugar monitoring independently by the patient and reported the progress of wound healing Result: The progress of foot ulcers healing in patients as well as prediction in healing condition. During the healing process, the patient was paying attention in diabetic diet and prolonged blood sugar monitoring by selfexamination independently. Pendahuluan : luka kaki diabetik merupakan komplikasi yang paling sering terjadi pada pasien yang mengalami Neuropathy. Apabila luka kaki diabetic tidak ditangani dengan baik dan pasien tidak terlibat dalam penatalaksanaan perawatan yang benar maka resiko terjadi amputasi semakin besar Metode : studi kasus pada pasien DM Tipe 2 yang memiliki luka kaki diabetik dengan riwayat pengobatan DM tidak teratur. Perawatan luka dengan menggunakan modern dressing dan dilakukan estimasi lama penyembuhan berdasarkan presentasi luka dengan bettes jensen pada pasien diikuti dengan pemantauan gula darah sewaktu dan gula darah puasa yang diperiksa secara mandiri oleh pasien dan dilaporkan pada saat perawatan luka Hasil : percepatan penyembuhan luka kaki pada pasien sesuai dengan prediksi dan kondisi luka semakin membaik. Hal ini dikarenakan selama proses penyembuhan, pasien berperan aktif dalam melakukan manajemen kontrol gula darah sendiri dengan melakukan pemeriksaan kadar gula darah mandiri serta mengatur pola dan jumlah porsi makan perhari termasuk membatasi makan malam lebih awal yaitu 4 jam sebelum tidur

Abstract

ABSTRAK Pada masa pandemi covid-19  terjadi perubahan strategi pelayanan kesehatan khususnya UMKM bidang kesehatan. NCI Center salah satu UMKM bidang kesehatan telah memberikan pelayanan perawatan luka, stoma, dan inkontinesia selama pandemi ini melakukan perubahan pada manajemen keuangan disituasi pandemi, adaptasi dalam rekam asuhan keperawatan dan digitalisasi pemasaran. Perubahan ini dilakukan agar lebih adaptif memberikan pelayanan kesehatan dalam situasi pandemi. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan kualitas rekam asuhan keperawatan, meningkatkan kualitas manajemen keuangan, dan digitalisasi marketing melalui peningkatan layanan digital. Tahapan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat meliputi:  analisis masalah dan kebutuhan di NCI Centre, pengambilan data rekam riwayat kesehatan, analisis menajemen keuangan dan pembuatan produk digitalisasi pemasaran. Pengambilan data rekam riwayat kesehatan pasien, Pengumpulan data melalui observasi,  wawancara baik yang berhubungan dengan manajemen sistem penjualan dan sistem pembukuan keuangan secara syariah. manajemen sistem penjualan dan sistem pembukuan keuangan secara syariah. Digitalisasi marketing melalui lima video yang dipublish pada media sosial, tiga Katalog, dan 100 flayer media marketing. Edukasi sikap caring dalam merawat pasien luka. Pembuatan  aplikasi Food Recall 24  Jam dan pendaftaran Hak Merek Logo NCI Centre. Pengabdian masyarakat melalui kegiatan rekam asuhan keperawatan, manajemen keuangan, dan digitalisasi marketing dapat meningkatkan pelayanan fasilitas kesehatan di NCI Centre pada masa pandemi covid-19. NCI Centre dapat meningkatkan pelayanan kesehatan melalui pengembangan website. Kata Kunci: UMKM, NCI Centre, Digitalisasi Marketing  ABSTRACT During the Covid-19 pandemic, there was a change in the strategy of health services, especially MSMEs in the health sector. The NCI Center, one of the UMKM in the health sector, has provided wound, stoma, and incontinence care services during this pandemic, making changes to financial management in a pandemic situation, adapting nursing care records, and digitizing marketing. This change was made to be more adaptive in providing health services in a pandemic situation. This community service aims to improve the quality of nursing care records, improve the quality of financial management, and digitize marketing through improving digital services. Stages of community service activities include: analysis of problems and needs at the NCI Center, retrieval of medical history data, analysis of financial management, and manufacture of marketing digitalization products. The results of the activities include retrieval of patient medical history record data, data collection through observation, and interviews both related to the management of the sales system and the sharia financial accounting system. sales system management and syariah financial accounting system. Digitizing marketing through five videos published on social media, three catalogs, and 100 media marketing flyers. Caring attitude education in caring for injured patients. Making the 24-hour Food Recall application and registering the NCI Center Logo Brand Rights. Community service through nursing care recording activities, financial management, and digital marketing can improve health facility services at the NCI Center during the Covid-19 pandemic.
