PARADIGMA PENDIDIKAN PEMBEBASAN PAULO FREIRE DALAM KONTEKS PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM Robikhah, Aridlah Sendy

Abstract

Education disposed ignoring some liberation values. Human considered like a mechanic machine that must be obey from the system. There is no liberation of thinking, liberation of act, liberation in expression and liberation for giving ideas. Paulo Freire, educational scientist gives some alternative illustrations for liberation pedagogy. This study applied a documentary method. Writer collect some book resources, then classify based on groups (biography, Paulo Freire?s theory and liberation pedagogy in Islamic education). This study found that liberation pedagogy in this case means to have awareness about education and daily life, so what student gets from teacher can be useful for facing their problems. Studying and reading books needs concentration, because according to Paulo Freire?s theory, the essences of study are reinventing, recreating and rewriting. Student must know what learning goals in each themes, because pedagogy is not like banking system,  students are not like an empty box. Students are human that have talent and capability, so this is teacher?s assignment to find and develop student?s ability. When this theory applied in Islamic Study, the solve of some student problems, still have to link to Alquran and Hadis with a double movement principle.

Abstract

The research entitled Leadership Role of KH. Abdullah Shiddiq in Shaping the Character of Santri Pondok Pesantren Bustanul Ulum Glagah Lamongan. Using this type of qualitative research -phenomenology, the purpose of this study was to determine the role of leadership in shaping the character of students at the Bustanul Ulum Islamic Boarding School Glagah Lamongan. From the results of this study, the first in the form of Kyai Abdullah Siddiq's leadership is very firm, friendly, responsible, disciplined, and able to be an example for everyone. The second is the process of character building at the Bustanul Ulum Islamic Boarding School which is carried out in several ways, such as giving examples, habituation, advice and motivation, supervision, prohibitions or rules, and punishments. Moreover, the last is the leadership role of Kyai Abdullah Shiddiq, which is summarized in three points: an interpersonal role or role model for the community, decision role or Kyai as decision making, and Kyai as an information role or source of information in controlling the lives of students.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the application of Al-Qur'an Reading and Writing Learning for Class X Students of MAN 1 Lamongan. This research uses a qualitative approach and the type of research is a case study. The data needed in this study are primary data that must be carried out through interviews and observations, as well as secondary data such as profile documents, drafts of BTQ learning programs, photos of teaching and learning activities for MAN 1 Lamongan students, and other documentation that can support the validity of research results. this and can be accounted for. The outputs in this study are the Sinta 4 Journal, ISBN Books, and HKI Written Papers. The Arabic writing skills of the tenth graders of MAN 1 Lamongan before using the BTQ book were very low. Meanwhile, Arabic writing skills after applying BTQ therapy books are getting better and better. The supporting factors are the high motivation of students, the habit of listening to murottal, and more abilities for students who graduate from Madrasah Ibtidaidah, Madrasah Tsanawiyah, and Islamic Boarding Schools. The inhibiting factors are: Physical condition that is tired due to the demands of school assignments, Class Conditions, Teacher Conditions, and Student Inactivity. To perfect the solution that has been applied, the teacher should refresh or prepare an interesting method before learning to read and write the Qur'an.

Abstract

The learning method is one of the elements that must be met in the process of delivering material. The technique serves as a bridge between teachers and students and a lubricant to maximize learning. When teaching Arabic subjects, a teacher must master the material and have a high ability to convey material to students. For the learning process to take place effectively, the teacher learns to be observant in choosing the appropriate method to be applied so that the material can be appropriately conveyed and easily understood by students. The technique used in this research is Qualitative Field Research conducted at MTs Bahrul Ulum Blawi. As for the results of this study, the implementation of the Grammatical Tarjamah method at MTs Bahrul Ulum Blwi Class 7 has been going well. The learning process takes place in 3 stages: introduction, core activities, and closing. From the third stage, educators have adapted and carried out following the prepared RPP.

Abstract

For parents, having children is a great gift and trust from Allah SWT. Therefore, parents have a responsibility to educate optimally. According to the Qur'an, providing education to the Qur'an can be done since the child is still in the womb, which can be called prenatal education. So the purpose of writing this article is to examine some verses of the Qur'an that explain prenatal education. So that this article can be used as a reference for prospective parents to prepare the next generation of the nation with good morals and intelligence. This article uses a literature study; the author explores the verses of the Qur'an and several scientific references related to prenatal education. As a result of this research, some prenatal education that parents can do includes praying for the child's good, maintaining the mother's condition by providing good and halal food intake, and providing education about worship by inviting children to worship with the mother. Providing this kind of stimulation can be a separate education for the fetus in the womb.

Abstract

The Mejing Tabon Community consists of people with diverse religious backgrounds. Local wisdom is needed to maintain harmony amidst religious heterogeneity, which contains moderate indicators. This local wisdom is one of the unifying factors of the Mejing Tabon Community Association to avoid social conflict. This aligns with SDG's 16, which focuses on advancing peace and justice. Therefore, this research aims to explain the application of religious moderation indicators in the local wisdom of Mejing Tabon so that it contributes to achieving the SDGs. This research uses qualitative methods with a sociological approach. As for the results of this research, there are four indicators of religious moderation, namely National Commitment, Tolerance, Non-Violence, and Acceptance of Tradition, which have been reflected in the local wisdom of the 5 Principal Calendars implemented yearly. Thus, this local wisdom also contributes to achieving National and Global Targets related to Peace and Justice.

Abstract

The Paguyuban Mejing Tabon citizens are people who have diverse religious backgrounds. Local wisdom which contains the values of religious moderation is an important factor in harmony between residents, so that social conflict can be avoided. This is in line with the SDGs concept of the United Nations where there are pillars that focus on Social Development, namely promoting peace and justice. Therefore, this research aims to explain the local wisdom that exists in the Mejing Tabon Community, reveal the correlation between local wisdom and the values of religious moderation and explain the contribution of local wisdom to achieving the UN SDGs. This research is important to emphasize the importance of preserving local wisdom and implementing the values of religious moderation to avoid conflicts based on religious differences. So that it becomes a form of contribution to achieving the SDGs. This research uses qualitative methods with a sociological approach. The results of this research are 4 indicators of religious moderation, including National Commitment, Tolerance, Anti-Radicalism, and Local Cultural Accommodation. The application of religious moderation in the local wisdom of the Tabon Mejing Community Association includes: the Tabon Mejing Association Logo Contains National Commitment; Tolerance in Interfaith Prayer Activities at Religious Celebrations; Mejing Tabon's philosophy of Rawuh, Lungguh, and Aruh as an effort to ward off radicalism; and Gagrak Ngayogyakarta Clothing as a form of accommodation to local culture.

Abstract

The pupak puser tradition is where the baby experiences the release of his umbilical cord and a pupak navel will be held. From the results of this traditional research, the implementation time of the pupak puser tradition is at night after the Isha prayer on the day after the baby's umbilical cord is separated from the navel. This market ceremony is a form of gratitude for the blessings and salvation God Almighty gave to the baby and the mother. This research aims to raise the issue into a scientific work so that it is widely known by the public and the writers who are studying. This study uses qualitative research using ethnographic methods and data collection techniques that are shown and proven by interviews, documentation, observation, and so on. The history of the implementation of the Pupak Puser Tradition in Genceng, Tikung, Lamongan Regency is one of the hamlets belonging to the religious community. This tradition was born in the ancestors' time and is still developing almost until now. This tradition was carried out long ago by the elders. This tradition ensures that the baby is always given health and safety.

Abstract

This study explains the instilling of the values of Ahlussunnah Wal Jamaah An-Nahdliyyah in SMK NU students Lamongan by Islamic education teachers to overcome students who are in a moral and ethical crisis so that their behavior deviates from the teachings of values which lead to disagreements between one another and can lead to intolerance and extremes. The research method used is qualitative, then data collection uses observation, interviews, and documentation, then data analysis includes data collection, data condensation, data display, and data verification. This study indicates that the efforts made by Islamic Education Teachers in instilling the values of Ahlussunnah Wal Jamaah An-Nahdliyyah go through three stages. First, the value transformation stage, through the provision of understanding, and advice. Second, the value transaction stage, through religious activities, instills morals. Third, the stages of trans-internalization of values, through habituation of amaliyah, exemplary and balance in the world and the hereafter. Supporting factors are a majority of Nahdlatul Ulama members, teacher professionalism, and effective Ahlussunnah Wal Jamaah learning. The inhibiting factors are lack of literature, students being less responsive, and less discipline. Efforts to prevent the presence of inhibiting factors include adding literature reviews, increasing the creativity of educators, and the need for a personal approach.
