Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan wawasan dan mengembangkan kemampuan guru dalam menulis proposal Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), melakukan penelitian, dan membuat laporan PTK melalui kegiatan workshop. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah presentasi, tanya jawab, dan penugasan. Peserta kegiatan berjumlah 13 orang guru Madrasah Aliyah SMIP 1946 Banjarmasin. Kegiatan workshop terselenggara secara luring dengan baik dan lancar. Berdasarkan kegiatan yang diselenggarakan diketahui bahwa peserta sangat puas dengan kegiatan ini yang ditandai dengan skor rata-rata kepuasan sebesar 4,53 dengan kategori sangat baik dan guru dapat membuat kerangka proposal PTK dengan baik.  Hasil dari kegiatan ini berguna dalam memperdalam pengetahuan guru dan mengembangkan kompetensinya tentang PTK.  Community service aimed to improve insight and develop the competence of teachers to write a Classroom Action Research proposal, conduct research, and make a Classroom Action Research report through a workshop. The methods used in this service were presentation, question, and assignment. The participants were 13 teachers of Madrasah Aliyah SMIP 1946 Banjarmasin. The workshop went offline well and smoothly. Based on this workshop, participants were satisfied with an average satisfaction of 4.53 with very good category, and they could write the Classroom Action Research proposal outline well. The result of this workshop can deepen teachers' knowledge and develop their competence in Classroom Action Research.

Abstract

The process of teaching and learning cannot be separated from the efforts to increase the quality of human resources. A good learning process is determined by a good planning which is also pays attention to the environment of the students. After that, the process of learning, evaluation, and observation can be done well. In other words, if those sequences of planning and teaching are implemented well, the process of learning can be said as succesful and it acquires the standards. One part of planning is to prepare the learning process kit. This research is aimed to measure the indicator achievement of high order thinking skill and student’s cognitive study results through cooperative learning based on inquiry using the kit that has been developed. The result of the research using the developed kit through the learning process of XI IPA 1 student’s high order thinking skill indicates two categories of variation, that are good category by 24 students and 2 students are categorised as good enough in thingking skill. This means that on the whole, the high level of students’ thinking skill achieves good result. While students’ cognitive study result during the process of learning has achieved the standard score of minimum score criterion.

Abstract

Perencanaan pembelajaran merupakan bagian yang mendukung suksesnya kegiatan belajar mengajar di kelas. Guru sebagai pengelola pembelajaran harus memiliki kompetensi yang baik dalam melakukan perencanaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kompetensi mahasiswa calon guru biologi dalam menyusun rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada 33 orang mahasiswa pengikut mata kuliah Perencanaan Pembelajaran Biologi pada Program Studi Tadris Biologi Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan Universitas Islam Negeri Antasari Banjarmasin pada bulan September-Desember 2020. Kompetensi mahasiswa calon guru dalam menyusun rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran dideskripsikan secara kategorikal dengan mengacu pada nilai rata-rata selama beberapa kali penugasan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi mahasiswa calon guru terbagi menjadi beberapa kategori. Sebanyak 3.03% termasuk dalam kategori kurang baik, 27.27% tergolong kategori baik dan 69.70% terkategori sangat baik.

Abstract

Jumlah mahasiwa di program studi biologi berjumlah 35 orang yang terdiri dari 91,43% berasal dari lulusan kelas IPA, 8,57% dari lulusan kelas non IPA (keagamaan, adminstrasi, IPS). Keterampilan Proses Sains yang dimiliki mahasiswa tersebut belum maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterampilan proses sains mahasiswa Program Studi Tadris Biologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif. Penelitian ini akan menghasilkan data yang akan dianalisis secara deskriptif dan diukur secara kategorikal. Data penelitian berupa nilai tes keterampilan proses sains yang diambil dari nilai hasil belajar mahasiswa pada perkuliahan Biologi Umum. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan KPS yang dimiliki mahasiswa cukup memuaskan yaitu pada aspek mengamati/ observasi sebesar 65,23% kategori “baik”, mengklasifikasi sebesar 69,28% kategori “baik”, menafsirkan data sebesar 64,20% kategori “baik”, meramalkan/memprediksi sebesar 60,43% kategori “cukup”, berhipotesis sebesar 41,50% kategori “cukup”, menganalisis sebesar 67,25% kategori “baik”, merencanakan percobaan/penelitian sebesar 41,50% pada kategori “cukup”, menggunakan alat/bahan sebesar 41,50% kategori “cukup”, menerapkan konsep sebesar 41,50% kategori “cukup”, dan berkomunikasi sebesar 41,50% kategori “cukup”.

Abstract

COVID-19 pandemic had a major impact on the implementation of the teaching process. Lectures suddenly switched from face-to-face to online, including practical courses. This system change certainly has its own impression for students, especially for those who program practicum courses. Research was conducted with quantitative approach through questionnaire and qualitative one through interviews with descriptive analysis technique. The purpose of this study was to describe students' perceptions of implementation material-based independent practicum in surrounding environment. The results showed that aspect of ease independent practicum 22.92% of students had perception of strongly agreeing, 43.75% agreeing, 33.32% disagreeing, and 0% strongly disagreeing. Aspect of ease understanding concept perception who strongly agree as much as 18.33%, agree with the presentation 74.17%, 7.5% disagree, and strongly disagree with percentage of 0%. Finally, on aspect of satisfaction in practicum, it was stated that 14.58% of students strongly agreed, agreed 63.19 while those who disagreed were 22.22% and strongly disagreed 0%. Students have perception that practicum is carried out independently in their respective residences can still run smoothly. This is because materials used are relatively easy to find in the surrounding environment. Online guidance provided also makes it easier to ask questions. Literature provided during independent practicum process also makes it easier to do practicum and understand procedure. In conclusion, average dominant student answers agree that independent practicum from home based materials in surrounding environment is relatively easy to do, it is also easy to understand concept and students are satisfied in implementation of independent practicum.

Abstract

Jeruk mahang merupakan produk lokal unggulan Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Tengah yang berasal dari desa Mahang di Kecamatan Pandawan Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Tengah. Referensi dan sumber belajar berbentuk buku ilmiah populer pada mata kuliah Morfologi Tumbuhan masih sedikit, sehingga perlu dilakukan penelitian dan pengembangan sumber belajar berupa buku ilmiah populer. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan karakter morfologi tumbuhan jeruk mahang serta validitas isi buku ilmiah populer hasil karakteristik morfologi tumbuhan jeruk mahang di desa Mahang Kecamatan Pandawan Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Tengah. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian Educational Design Research (EDR). Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Data penelitian dianalisis dan dibuat menjadi sebuah produk berupa buku ilmiah populer lalu divalidasi menggunakan desain evaluasi formatif Tessmer dan dibatasi sampai uji ahli pakar. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa sampel tumbuhan jeruk mahang yang diteliti memiliki morfologi kualitatif yang sama, sedangkan karakter morfologi kuantitatifnya memiliki perbedaan dibagian panjang dan lebar daun, jumlah mahkota bunga, dan jumlah benang sari. Hasil persentase uji validitas buku ilmiah populer oleh validator ahli sebesar 81,71% masuk kategori cukup valid.

Abstract

Students are part of community who will participate in social interactions. Mastery of social skills is expected to be able to equip graduates to interact in more complex societies. One of social skill is cooperation. Therefore, ability to cooperation is important. Student interaction in completing assignments when practicum activities become a means of building cooperation between group members. Practicum subject at Biology Education of FTK UIN Antasari Banjarmasin are presented in the third semester. Student cooperation should have been well developed because so far they have become accustomed to interacting in class. Facts in the field apparently show that the level of student ccooperation is still low. Plant morphology practicum is expected to play a role in increasing the level of cooperation between students. This study aims to describe the profile of cooperation between students in practicum activities. Data collection was carried out through observation and interviews with students. Practicum can facilitate students to build cooperation in their groups. In general, the percentage of cooperation increased from practicum 1 to practicum 9. If viewed on group basis, group cooperation ranges from fairly good to good. The group with the lowest average cooperation was obtained by group 1 and the highest group 6.
