Abstract

Background: Nurse has an important role especially in achieving plenary and holistic healthcare service. Nurse is frontline in improves the safety and quality of health in health services. This need leadership in nursing, which part the base of nursing care effective and nurse recognized as a leader in patients care. Health service system will continue to metamorphosis so nurse to adopt the quality of transformational leadership. Transformational leadership allow nurse in developing health policy, transforming the health technologies, and mentorship in new nurses or student. Mentorship can be defined as a process of knowledge, attitude, and skill by professional nurse (mentor) to new nurses/student (mentee). Aim: Explain transformational leadership in mentorship method as an effort to plenary health. Method: The search this article through Google search and CINAHL with keyword mentorship, new nurses, nursing, leadership, and transformational leadership. The search got 14 article appropriate inclusion and exclusion criteria, among published in 2007-2017, in full text which are in criteria, then analysis in narrative. Results: The search data used keywords and criteria on electronic database, got 14 articles. The articles were grouped in transformational leadership, leadership in nursing, and mentorship. Conclusion: Mentorship very effective to give positive impacts to organizations health services.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Literasi kesehatan menjadi salah satu faktor penting dalam upaya pencegahan terjadinya penyakit tidak menular (PTM), dimana angka kejadian PTM ini semakin lama dapat terjadi peningkatan. Dampak PTM ini dapat memperberat penyakit pada pasien dan dampak ekonomi, sehingga diperlukan pembahasan tentang literasi kesehatan dari bermacam artikel ilmiah. Metode: Metode yang digunakan adalah literature review. Pencarian artikel melalui Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, dan Proquest dengan kata kunci health literacy dan noncommunicable diseases. Kriteria inklusi yang dipakai adalah full text, open access, bahasa Inggris, dan terbitan tahun 2018-2020, dengan metode review milik Cronin, Ryan, and Couglan. Hasil: Hasil dari penelusuran ada 10 artikel yang dibagi menjadi tiga kelompok, yaitu literasi kesehatan memberikan dampak yang baik bagi pasien PTM, literasi kesehatan merupakan salah satu program yang efektif dan rendah biaya bagi pasien dengan PTM, dan literasi kesehatan menjadi strategi pendekatan pencegahan PTM pada semua lapisan umur. Pembahasan: Literasi kesehatan bagi pasien PTM harus ditingkatkan hingga adanya perubahan perilaku yang memberikan dampak baik bagi kesehatan. Kesimpulan: Literasi kesehatan sangat efektif, rendah biaya, memberikan dampak baik sehingga pasien dapat mencapai kualitas hidup yang baik.

Abstract

Introduction: Family communication in inmates is a problem that has not been explored much. WBP in communicating with family experiences obstacles, family communication in WBP is important to reduce the occurrence of recidivism. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of assertive training in assertive communication. Methods: The method used is a one-group test design, with a sampling technique that is purposive sampling with a sample size of 30 respondents. The data collection process is that all respondents are asked to fill out a communication questionnaire before the application intervention, namely assertive training. After being given assertive training, respondents will be given a questionnaire again. Results: The result of this application is an increase of 33% in assertive communication in WBP, and 40% of WBP need partial assistance and 40% need to be fully assisted. Discussion: Assertive training is very effective and can help improve the ability of WBP to do assertive communication, assertive communication can improve interpersonal relationships, especially with families so that divorce does not occur. In addition, assertive communication adds confidence and reduces anxiety and stress. Conclusion: Assertive training is effective for improving communication in WBP, assertive training needs to be developed further by adding monitoring and evaluation.
