Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk menganalisis kemampuan berpikir kraetif kimia ditinjau dari adversity quotient, sikap ilmiah dan minat belajar. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Indraprasta PGRI semester genap tahun akademik 2014/2015 , yang mengikuti perkuliahan Kimia Dasar II berjumlah 66 orang. Pemilihan kelas sampel menggunakan teknik multistage random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukandengan melaksanakan tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif kimia berupa soal uraian. Data adversity quotient, sikap ilmiah dan minat belajar diperoleh dengan menggunakan angket skala sikap.Analisa data penelitian menggunakan korelasi dan regresi dengan bantuan program SPSS. Dari hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh adversity quotient, sikap ilmiah dan minat belajar secara bersama-sama terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif dengan korelasi sebesar 0,359 dan koefisien determinasi sebesar 12,9%. Pengujian Signifikasi Koefisien Regresi diperoleh nilai sig 0,034  dan Fhitung = 3,066.  Uji pengaruh masing-masing variabel diperoleh terdapat pengaruh adversity quotient terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif dengan nilai sig = 0,012  dan thitung = 2,595. Tidak terdapat pengaruh sikap ilmiah terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif dengan nilai sig = 0,646  dan thitung = - 0,461. Tidak terdapat pengaruh minat belajar  terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif dengan nilai sig = 0,508  dan thitung = - 0,666. Kata kunci : kemampuan berpikir kreatif

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of the study is to describe (1) the difficulties experienced by students in solving basic chemistry problems, (2) factors that cause student learning difficulties in learning basic chemistry. This research is descriptive research with qualitative and quantitative approaches. Research subjects of Mathematics Education Study Program students who attend odd semester 2018/2019 basic chemistry lectures. The selection of sample classes uses purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques were carried out by carrying out a question-based test in the form of descriptions and non-tests in the form of questionnaires and interviews. The results showed that the absorption of students for limiting reagents was 56.95%, calculation of acid base ph was 60.5%, identification of base acids 59.55%, colloids 64.1%, naming hydrocarbon compounds 64.9%, and writing structures ahaidrocarbon compounds 67.35%. Factors that cause learning difficulties consist of interest, motivation, concentration, study habits, intelligence. Student interest is 40%, motivation is 24%, concentration 36%, study habits 32%, and intelligence 28%

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the role of problem-based learning model to critical thinking ability and creative thinking ability. The subjects were students of semester IV Mathematics Education Study Program, University of Indraprasta PGRI, Jakarta in 2013/2014, in the subject of Basic Chemistry II. The selection of the class for this study was based on multistage random sampling. Experiments conducted on the sample of 30 experimental class students with problem-based learning model and 30 control class students with expository learning model. The data was collected by implementing tests of critical thinking ability and creative thinking ability with essay test. Analysis of research data using MANOVA support by SPSS. From the results of the study concluded that learning models give influence to the critical thinking ability and creative thinking ability together (F=21,815;p=0.000).
