Abstract

This research aims to gain a deeper understanding of the Effectiveness of Interpersonal Communication in the West Java Communication and Information Office environment, specifically how the government agency communicates with the public and its impacts on various aspects. The research method employed is a Descriptive Quantitative approach. The total number of respondents in this study is 80 permanent employees of the West Java Communication and Information Office. Data collection was conducted by distributing questionnaires to all sampled employees of the West Java Communication and Information Office. The results of the research indicate that the Effectiveness of Interpersonal Communication in the West Java Communication and Information Office environment falls into the high category. This is evidenced by the high values assigned by the respondents to the five dimensions of Interpersonal Communication Effectiveness. Thus, it can be concluded that the Effectiveness of Interpersonal Communication among the employees of the West Java Communication and Information Office is considered effective.

Abstract

This research is titled “The Influence of Host Live Streaming Message Exposure on Product Purchase Decisions (A Quantitative Study on the Influence of Host Live Streaming Messages from Rahsa Nusantara on the Purchase Decisions of Members of the Rumah Tumbuh Bersama Community). This study aims to determine the significance of the influence of persuasive messages from the Rahsa Nusantara live streaming host on purchase decisions. The method used in this research for data analysis is multiple linear regression. The number of respondents in this study is 28 individuals selected through probability sampling techniques. Data collection was conducted by distributing questionnaires to members of the Rumah Tumbuh Bersama Community. The results of the study indicate that message exposure, which include message content, message structure, and message format, have a positive influence on purchase decisions. However, the dimensions of the sub-variables of message structure and message format do not significantly affect purchase intention. The largest sub-variable influencing purchase decisions is the message content sub-variable.

Abstract

This study discusses the interpersonal communication of married couples in building a healthy relationship by applying five aspects of interpersonal communication: openness, empathy, supportiveness, equality, and positivity. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The subjects were five married couples living in Kampung Keluarga Berkualitas Serumpun, Bandung City. Data collection techniques included in-depth interviews and literature studies. The results showed that the five aspects of interpersonal communication were consistently applied by the couples to build a healthy relationship. The Kampung KB program also played a role in creating a supportive environment for positive spousal communication. In conclusion, effective interpersonal communication is the main foundation for a healthy and harmonious marriage.

Abstract

Thrifting, while a popular affordable fashion alternative, raises concerns about safety and health risks for enthusiasts. The feature video "Thrift or Threat: Health Issues in The Thrifting Phenomenon" aims to raise public awareness, especially among younger generations, regarding the importance of hygiene and health when buying and wearing thrifted clothing. This work also provides accurate information on potential risks and preventive measures, while inspiring other content creators to address relevant social and health issues related to contemporary youth lifestyles. As director, the author gathered information and explored problems through direct interviews at Cimol Gedebage Market. The video's narrative structure employs a storytelling approach based on Freytag's Pyramid, with clear scene divisions: exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution. Findings indicate the director's crucial role in guiding the entire production process, from research and planning to filming and overseeing editing. This video is expected to enhance public awareness about hygiene and health in thrifting, and serve as an inspiration for content creators exploring pertinent social and health topics.

Abstract

Creative Director merupakan posisi yang bertanggung jawab atas seluruh aspek konseptual dan teknis dalam sebuah produksi video podcast, mulai dari tahap pra-produksi, produksi, hingga pasca-produksi. Peran Creative Director sangat esensial dalam menerjemahkan ide menjadi sebuah karya audio visual yang menarik dan berdampak. Penulisan laporan ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan peran dan tanggung jawab Creative Director pada setiap tahapan produksi video podcast "Creator Talks" bersama Sebisa Project. Metode penulisan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif untuk menguraikan proses kerja secara sistematis dan terperinci. Pada tahap pra-produksi, peran Creative Director adalah menyusun ide dan konsep, membuat brief, serta menyusun ToR untuk narasumber. Tahap produksi adalah proses penerjemahan konsep ke dalam bentuk audio visual, di mana Creative Director bertugas memandu jalannya produksi di lapangan. Selanjutnya, pada tahap pasca-produksi, Creative Director mendampingi editor dalam proses penyuntingan hingga finalisasi dan publikasi karya. Peran Creative Director telah menyelesaikan seluruh tugas dalam merealisasikan video podcast bertema Beauty, Brain, and Behavior (3B) yang edukatif juga inspiratif dan karyanya telah dirilis di kanal YouTube Sebisa Project.
