Abstract

This research was aimed to determine the effect of beef fertilizer on growth and biomass production in some corn hybrid varieties (Zea mays). This research used completely randomized design factorial 6 x 4 with four replications. The first factor is the corn hybrid varieties were V1 (Bisi-2), V2 (Bisi-16), V3 (Bisi-222), V4 (Nk-212), V5 (Pertiwi-2), V6 (Pacific-224), and the second factor was the level of beef fertilizer were P0 (0 ton/ha), P1 (20 ton/ha), P2 (30 tons/ha), P3 (40 tons/ha). The parameters measured were growth of plant height, the fresh water production and leaf blade percentage of corn hybrid varieties. The results showed that the variety and level of treatment of fertilizer was highly significant effected (P<0,01) to the plant high, the fresh water production and leaf blade percentage corn hybrid varieties. Interaction factor were significant effected (P<0.05) to the fresh water production, whereas in the growth of plant high and leaf blade percentage did not effected (P<0.05). Each treatment was getting the best results in plant height at V2P3 (224 cm), fresh water production at V4P3 (5234 g/plot) and leaf blade percentage at V4P2 (35.35%).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the dry matter and organic Ingredients of Kampung Super chicken which was given fermented corn straw (JJF) as a substitute for rice bran in the ration. This experimental research used a completely randomized design (CRD), with 5 treatments and 4 replications. The treatment of this research was P0 (control) = basic ration containing 20% bran., P1 = basic ration containing 15% bran + 5% JJF., P2 = basic ration containing 10% bran + 10% JJF., P3 = basic ration containing 5% bran + 15% JJF., P4 = basic ration contains 20% JJF. The parameters observed were the dry matter and organic matter content of Kampung Super chicken. Analysis of variance was used for data analysis. The results showed that the addition of JJF did not affect (P 0.05) the dry matter and organic matter content of Kampung Super chicken meat. Fermented corn straw as a substitute for rice bran up to 20% in the ration does not have a significant effect on dry matter and organic matter of super native chicken meat and can be used as a substitute for bran in the ration.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the performance of Kampung Unggul Balitnak (KUB) chicken fed palm mud fermented feed. Completely Randomized Design (CRD) was used in this study, with five treatments (5) and four replications (4). Each replication was placed 6 chickens aged 7 days. The results showed that the use of fermented palm sludge had no significant effect on feed consumption, body weight gain, and feed conversion value of KUB chickens. The use of fermented palm oil sludge in feed gives a good value to the performance of Kampung Unggul Balitnak (KUB) chickens.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the gross energy and beta carotene content ofgoroho banana peel (Musa acuminafe. sp) fermentedas animal feed. This research was conducted in August - September 2021. The research site is at the Laboratory of Animal Nutrition, Department of Animal Husbandry, Faculty of Agriculture, State University of Gorontalo. The research method used is this research method using a completely randomized design (CRD). Parameters observed in this study were beta carotene content and gross energy in Goroho banana peel fermented using Rizhopus Oligosporus and Trichoderma Viride inoculum . These data were then analyzed by Duncan's further test .The results showed that Gross Energy P3 P0.05 was significantly different and Beta-carotene P0 P0.05. The results of this study can be concluded that Treatment 3 which is fermented goroho banana peel flour feed with an inoculum dose of Rhizopus Oligusphorus + Trichoderma Viride  0.3% and a fermentation time of 120 hours can increase the gross energy by 5469 kcal/kg and Treatment 0 which is banana peel flour goroho without fermentation with inoculum has a high beta-carotene content of 0.64 mg/100g.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengetahui kecernaan lemak kasar danseratkasar formulasi pakan lmpur sawit fermentasi.menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL)dengan 5 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan,  terdiri dari P0 : Ransum ayam tanpa lumpur sawit fermentsi/non fermentasi, P1: Ransum + 10% lumpur sawit fermentasi, P2: Ransum + 10% lumpur sawit non fermentsi, P3: Ransum + 20% lumpur sawit fermentasi, P4: Ransum + 20% lumpur sawit non fermentasi. parameter yang diukur  adalah kecernaan lemak kasar dan serat kasar, Hasil yang didapat dengan menggunakan pakan lumpur sawit fermentasi ada pada P2,P3 dan P4 (87.33%). Nilai kecernaan serat kasar berbeda nyata (P0,05), Dengan persentase kecernaan serat tertinggi pada P4 (69.33%). Kata kunci : Lumpur sawit fermentasi, Kecernaan lemak kasar, Kecernaan serat kasar

Abstract

Daun jagung mempunyai proporsi sebanyak 20% dari total limbah tanaman jagung. Daun jagung juga memiliki palatabilitas yang tinggi karena daun jagung sangat baik untuk di berikan kepada ternak terutama varietas jagung yang dipanen muda. Penelitian  ini  bertujuan  untuk mengetahui  kandungan  nutrisi  dari  tepung  daun  jagung muda. Parameter yang diamati dalam penelitian ini yaitu kadar air, abu, protein kasar, serat kasar dan lemak kasar. Pengujian kandungan nutrisi menggunakan analisis proksimat. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tepung daun jagung muda memiliki kadar air sebesar 11,50%, abu 9,29%, protein kasar 13,73%, serat kasar 27,83%, dan lemak kasar 4,85%. Tingginya protein kasar tepung daun jagung muda dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai pakan ternak sumber protein pada ternak unggas fase finisher dan kandungan serat kasar yang tinggi dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai pakan ternak ruminansia.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh pemberian pakan yang mengandung tepung rumput laut (Eucheuma cottonii) dan tepung daun jagung terhadap kualitas fisik daging ayam broiler yang dipelihara pada kandang litter. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 6 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Ayam broiler yang digunakan sebanyak 96 ekor unsex. Variabel yang diamati meliputi derajat keasaman (pH), daya ikat air (DIA), susut masak dan warna (L= kecerahan, a= kemerahan, b= kekuningan) daging ayam broiler. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan pakan yang mengandung tepung rumput laut dan tepung daun jagung berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap nilai pH, Daya ikat air menunjukkan kecenderungan meningkat meskipun tidak berbeda nyata (P>0,05), Perlakuan tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata (P>0.05) atau memberikan pengaruh yang sama terhadap susut masak daging broiler dan warna daging (nilai L= kecerahan dan a= kemerahan,) namun berpengaruh signifikan (P<0,05) terhadap nilai b = kekuningan. Disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan tepung rumput laut dan tepung daun jagung dalam pakan dapat memberikan pengaruh terhadap nilai pH daging broiler dan tidak berpengaruh terhadap daya ikat air, susut masak dan warna daging broiler

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of use of fermented Goroho banana peel flour (Musa Acuminafe, sp) on the performance of Balitnak superior native chickens in the starter phase. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 5 replicates, resulting in 25 experimental units. The chickens used in this study were 125 superior Balitnak native chickens in the starter phase aged 2–4 weeks, with each experimental unit using 5 chickens. The variables observed in this study were feed intake, weight gain, and feed conversion. The results of this study indicate that the average chicken consumption did not differ significantly (P>0.05) between each treatment (P0 20.48), (P1 20.49), (P2 21.08), (P3 20.53) and (P4 19.02) g/bird/day. The average weight gain of chickens did not differ significantly (P>0.05) between treatments (P0 8.28), (P1 8.47), (P2 8.55), (P3 8.37) and (P4 8.48). Based on the results of the study and discussion, it can be concluded that the use of fermented goroho banana peel flour with rumen fluid at a level of 5–20% does not affect feed intake, weight gain, and feed conversion in 2–4-week-old Balitnak superior native chickensPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui level penggunaan tepung Kulit Pisang Goroho (Musa Acuminafe, sp) Fermentasi Terhadap Performa Ayam Kampung Unggul Balitnak Fase Starter. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 5 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan sehingga terdapat 25 unit percobaan. Ayam yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu ayam kampung unggul balitnak fase starter umur 2 – 4 minggu sebanyak 125 ekor, setiap unit percobaan menggunakan 5 ekor ayam. Variabel yang diamati dalam penelitian ini konsumsi ransum, pertambahan bobot badan dan konversi ransum. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rataan konsumsi ayam tidak berbeda nyata (P>0,05) dengan masing-masing perlakuan (P0 20,48), (P1 20,49), (P2 21,08), (P3 20,53) dan (P4 19,02) g/ekor/hari. Rataan pertambahan bobot badan ayam tidak berbeda nyata (P>0,05) dengan masing-masing perlakuan (P0 8,28), (P1 8,47), (P2 8,55), (P3 8,37) dan (P4 8,48). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan tepung kulit pisang goroho yang difermentasi dengan cairan rumen dari 5 – 20% tidak mempengaruhi konsumsi ransum, pertambahan bobot badan dan konversi ransum pada ayam kampung unggul balitnak umur 2 – 4 minggu.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of feeding fermented goroho banana peel flour on giblet weight (liver, gizzard, lymph, and heart). The method used in this study was a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 5 replicates. The number of super native chickens used in the study was 125. The treatments consisted of P0 (Ration (0%) without fermented goroho banana peel flour), P1 (ration + 5% fermented goroho banana peel flour), P2 (ration + 10% fermented goroho banana peel flour), P3 (ration + 15% fermented goroho banana peel flour), P4 (ration + 20% fermented goroho banana peel flour). The variables observed were giblet weight, which included the gizzard, heart, liver, and lymph. The results showed that fermented goroho banana peel flour as a feed substitute had no significant effect (P>0.05) on the weight of the gizzard, liver, heart, and lymph nodes in super native chickens. In conclusion, fermented goroho banana peel flour at 5% to 20% in the ration did not affect the weight of the gizzard, heart, liver, and lymph nodes of 60-day-old super native chickens.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian tepung kulit pisang goroho frementasi terhadap bobot giblet (hati, gizard, limfa, dan jantung). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 5 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan. Jumlah ayam kampung super yang digunakan dalam penelitian sebanyak 125 ekor. Perlakuan terdiri atas P0 (Ransum (0%) tanpa tepung kulit pisang goroho fermentasi), P1 (Ransum + 5% tepung kulit pisang goroho fermentasi), P2 (Ransum + 10% tepung kulit pisang goroho fermentasi), P3 (Ransum + 15% tepung kulit pisang goroho fermentasi), P4 (Ransum + 20% tepung kulit pisang goroho fermentasi). Variabel yang diamati adalah bobot giblet yang meliputi: Gizzard, Jantung, Hati, dan Limfa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tepung kulit pisang goroho fermentasi sebagai pakan pengganti ransum tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata pada bobot gizzard, hati, jantung, dan limfa pada ayam kampung super. Kesimpulannya bahwa tepung kulit pisang goroho fermentasi 5% sampai 20% dalam ransum tidak memengaruhi bobot gizzard, jantung, hati, dan limfa, ayam kampung super umur 60 hari. Namun pada persentase bobot limfa terjadi peningkatan pada P4 yang menggunakan 20% tepung kulit pisang goroho fermentasi dalam pakan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh penambahan tepung ikan red devil dan ikan rucah pada ransum ayam broiler terhadap kadar protein dan lemak dagingnya. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan lima perlakuan (P0: tanpa tepung ikan; P1: 5% tepung ikan red devil; P2: 10% tepung ikan red devil; P3: 5% tepung ikan rucah; P4: 10% tepung ikan rucah) dan empat ulangan. Parameter yang diamati kandungan protein dan lemak daging ayam Broiler. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan P3 dan P4 sangat nyata (P<0,01) meningkatkan kandungan protein kasar daging ayam broiler dibandingkan dengan P0, perlakuan P1 dan P2 (23,84% dan 27,39 % vs 22,28%, 20,38%,17,83%). Perlakuan P4 juga sangat nyata (P<0,05) meningkatkan kandungan lemak kasar daging ayam broiler dibandingkan dengan P0 dan perlakuan P1, P2, P3 (4,27% vs 3,80%, 3,67%, 3,35%, 3,01%). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian 10% tepung ikan rucah dapat meningkatkan kandungan protein kasar dan lemak kasar daging ayam broiler umur 35 hari.
