Abstract

The "Tekwe" method is a unique method of learning Arabic that is applied in Kampung Arab. This study aims to reveal and explain the "Tekwe" method in learning Arabic in the Arabic language course community. The research method used in this research is qualitative research with a case study approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, which were then analyzed using qualitative analysis. Interviews were conducted with the head of the Al-Istiqomah Islamic Boarding School, several teachers, students, and the community. The subjects in the study were the Head of the Islamic Boarding School, teachers, and students. The results of this study are that the Arab Village of Kebumen (KAK) is implemented by students who study in the Arab Village of Kebumen (KAK) and must live in a "mask or homestay" for 14 days following learning activities. The curriculum is designed to use the "Tekwe" Method; creativity in Arabic language learning focuses on communication; teachers are creative in choosing materials and strategies and using media. The head of the Islamic boarding school involves the local community in learning Arabic, carrying out social activities with the community in Arabic, and encouraging the community to speak Arabic with students and teachers.

Abstract

During the era of the advancement of Islamic civilization in Andalusia, Arabic became the language of teaching sciences, and it was very popular among Europeans to learn it. From there, science developed rapidly in Europe, producing many well-known experts in their fields and even coloring world civilization. In this article, the researcher tried to reveal the great and wonderful contribution of the Arabic language to the advancement of European culture and civilization. This contribution has not been revealed superficially before and many people do not know it in detail, as Arabic is one of the oldest languages in the Levantine language family. In this research, a qualitative approach was used with the design of an interpretive model that seeks to understand and interpret the meaning of a reality in the form of a phenomenon about the influence of the Arabic language on the progress of European culture and civilization. The data obtained as analytical material is through observation, documentation, and interviews. In the end, it makes clear that the Arabic language has contributed enormously to the social, cultural, economic, technological, educational and civilizational progress achieved by European countries today.

Abstract

This research is motivated by several issues related to radicalism and religious violence still prevalent in Indonesia's public and private universities. The survey results by the National Counter Terrorism Agency (BNPT) of Indonesia reported that as many as 39% of students in 15 provinces in Indonesia are indicated of being attracted to radical ideologies and fundamentalist movements. This research aims to describe the pattern of transformational leadership in strengthening religious moderation among students of Private Islamic Higher Education Institutions (PTKIS) in the Riau Province to provide an ideal and humanistic alternative model for the development of religious moderation. This research employs field research methodology, utilizing data collection techniques such as interviews, observations, and documentation to address the research question, "How does transformational leadership contribute to strengthening religious moderation among PTKIS students in Riau?" Based on the research findings, the pattern of transformational leadership applied by the four leaders of PTKIS in Riau positively impacts religious moderation among their respective campus students by carrying out 5 strategic steps included in the discussion.

Abstract

AbstractThe Quran is the Holy book that is a revelation from God to guide humanity. The Quran has many chapters and verses concerning sciences. This study aimed to explore the content of the Quran using exegesis and all of its components as the main tools to comprehend the Quran. This was a qualitative historic-factual study based on the notion of Tommy Dazwir Paja Putra regarding the scientific miracle of chapters and verses numbers of the Quran. The results show that the numbers of the chapters and verses regarding humans (the prophets and their followers, devout persons, and the ungodly) or things in nature indicate of object location or the object properties. In conclusion, the Quran has scientific signs related to the various branch of sciences such as geography, astronomy, biology, chemistry, archeology, history, paleontology, and other sciences. AbstrakAl-Qur’an adalah kitab suci yang diturunkan Allah swt sebagai pedoman hidup umat manusia. Salah satu kandungan al-Qur’an adalah berkaitan tentang ilmu pengetahuan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggali kandungan-kandungan al-Qur’an yang menjadi pedoman kehidupan. Oleh karenanya, ilmu tafsir dengan segala perangkatnya merupakan ilmu utama untuk dapat memahami kandungan al-Qur’an. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif yang bersifat historis-faktual, terhadap pemikiran tokoh Tommy Dazwir Paja Putra tentang kemukjizatan ilmiah nomor urut surat dan ayat al-Qur’an. Dari hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa al-Qur’an manakala berbicara tentang objek-objek di alam seperti objek manusia (para Nabi dan kaumnya, orang-orang shaleh dan orang-orang durhaka), maupun benda-benda di alam, maka ternyata nomor ayat dan nomor surat tersebut sebahagian memberi petunjuk tentang lokasi objek dan sebahagian lagi memberi petunjuk tentang sifat-sifat objek. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa al-Qur’an mengandung isyarat ilmiah yang terkait dengan banyak cabang ilmu seperti geografi, astronomi, biologi, kimia, arkeologi, sejarah palentologi dan sebagainya. Kata Kunci: Al-Qur’an, Nomor Ayat, Nomor Surat, Kemukjizatan ilmiah.
